While the attack could be fended off it came during that time to some serious damages within the individual files which were so abruptly aborted. Most of them were not very serious but by interrupting the quarantine the already defective systems were further damaged. And so it came to a mixture of information that nobody could have predicted.
Tower
Pepper had no idea of all these events and was already in the solarium and enjoyed tanning a little. Her skin had always been very pale and due to her shyness she was rarely in a solarium. While lying on the tanning bed trying to relax, she saw the emitters of the tanning bed malfunction. They suddenly shone in all kinds of colors and bathed the whole room in bright, beautiful colors. She would rule her people like a queen bee and her drones would protect her or serve her. And the only logical way to achieve this was sex. It took a few seconds for the AI to respond. "Of course, Ms. Potts. All data of this malfunction was stored on the internal servers. Do you want me to do an error analysis?"
"No. That won't be necessary Jarvis. Please transfer the data to my personal cloud and then delete it from the official servers. Tony has to focus on more important stuff. I'll take a look for myself afterwards! How are Tony and the others?"
"As you wish Ms. Potts. According to my information, Mr. Stark and the Avengers saved the world again. Mr. Stark wants me to raise the meter. Do you want to know how many times he's saved the world?"
"No thanks! I'm busy. Thank you Jarvis." She smiled and went to her office. Almost obsessed, she tried to understand the disorder that had led to her brainwashing. She could replicate the light herself but since she was not a technical genius like Tony she had no idea what to do now. Because her version was pretty big and pretty bulky, hardly usable for what she was up to. Tony would see through this much too fast and then she would be done. No. First she would have to make sure that Tony would be weakened. At the moment he was the biggest danger for her target.
She didn't think much about it and finally came up with the idea that they might find a technician first. After about an hour there was a knock on her door just as she tried to get it done herself for the tenth time. Even though she had been working for a genius for years, it probably didn't come off.
But the man who just came in was anything but an idiot. One of the technicians from Tony's team.
"Ah. Please come in, Mr. Johnson. I hope you don't mind me calling you from your vacation. But it's something I really wanted to discuss with you." She smiled and pointed to the chair in front of her.
The young man's face brightened and she could literally see the word "promotion" shine above his head. When he had finally taken a seat she gave him her best smile and then said.
"Tony gave me a little riddle today which I unfortunately failed to solve. I now had the hope that you could help me. I can guarantee you that your effort will be worth it. I will take care of that personally" she smiled gently and tried to give the whole thing a slightly erotic sound. The reaction was immediate. Mr. Johnson suddenly seemed a little confused and speechless.
"What... a riddle" he finally asked.
"I'll tell them after they get something to drink." Said Pepper and went to a small bar and put a glass there for him. She tried hard to get a good look into her blouse. Of course she made it seem completely accidental. The last thing she needed right now was unwanted attention. And an all too contracted behavior would immediately attract attention.
