I had very much enjoyed my evening with Aunt Judy. I had a final weekend of Spring Break and reported to the company I would be spending my summer interning with on Monday for an introductory week. Monday and Tuesday both were very hectic days. I had seen Patty Saturday when she had come over to visit with my mom and dad. On the drive home I started thinking about the conversation that Aunt Judy and I had the previous week. I had been curious about Aunt Judy’s comment about an intimate dinner and catching up on things. I had gotten the impression that she had been somewhat upset with her conniving daughter in how she had made her believe that the ticket was 100% my fault and also for “arranging” for me to be spanked like I was. I made drinks for each of us and then we headed into the kitchen to finalize dinner and get it on the table. Aunt Judy had prepared a favorite Mississippi dinner of fried catfish and had selected a really crisp chilled Pinot Grigio to go with it. Dinner was a lot of fun as we discussed things that Patty was doing at Ole Miss and things I was doing at the University of Alabama. Aunt Judy, as always, kept the conversation going. She finally suggested that we clear the table. She indicated she and Patty would do the dishes later but, for now, she suggested we open another bottle of wine and head to sit by the pool.
We went outside and got comfortable by the pool. Aunt Judy smiled and then turned to Patty. “I wanted to talk with you about a conversation I had with Patrick last week. I am not sure how we started to discuss it, but we ended up having a conversation about the last spanking that he got from me when you two were seniors in high school. Do you remember that night?”

I got up and headed to the pool where I knew I would find Aunt Judy.
