C rank missions are mainly escort missions or important delivery’s to various feudal lords throughout the land and are usually carried out by Chuunin level shinobi. The strongest genin sometimes get these.

Lastly are the D rank missions, that which are given to gennin, usually these missions are easy and used to ease young ambitious ninja into the general ease of life as shinobi.

Gennin are the lowest rank of ninja and are always in groups of 3 with a Jounin, yet before you have the honour to become a gennin you must go to a ninja academy, learn the basics of the ninja arts, train your body and mind in the ways of becoming a tool to carry out missions and succeed, to be willing to give up your life for the success of a mission.
