“But there is something where he lags. I hope you do not misunderstand me. But I am a woman; a married woman and I expect my husband to love me in more than one way. He shows his love with his words his affection. But Tushar just fails to satisfy me physically.” She took a pause and looked up at me.
I didn’t know what to say. Though I expected this when she went about the ‘brother’ and not ‘supposed to’ bits it was still a shock to realize my suspicions. “You mean he does not last long or something, right?” I asked dumbly looking at her. She looked down and shook her head.
“Then what?” I enquired. “I don’t know if I should tell you this,” she said in a low voice. I raised her chin up and looking in her eyes said, “I can understand it feels awkward. I really do. But if speaking to me lighten your heart I am yours.” She again gave me that thankful smile.
She said, “Tushar is not active, I mean sexually active. We hadn’t had,” and she looked down again, “we hadn’t had any sex for the last 9 months. Even our honeymoon was all traveling to places all day. When we returned to our hotel rooms he’d say he’s all tired or not in the mood or some other excuses.”

“A week before you arrived I had literally begged him to tell me why don’t we do it which then later turned into an argument. I can’t see where the fault is.”
I calmed her and wiped her tears and said, “Shh, di. Don’t cry. I don’t know why he’s doing so. But I can talk to him not directly but I will. And more importantly, if you have any doubts about it, do not think that by divulging into me you have done something wrong.”
“We are siblings and sharing our qualms and problems with each other without any hesitation is what makes our relationship so beautiful and lovely. My perspective for you remains the same as before.” She hugged me tightly. I too put my arms around her and stroked her head with my hand.
After our talk di was a bit uncomfortable though much more relaxed than before. Later that day I went out as I had some work in order. By the time I came back, Tushar was already home. As I promised di I took upon me to try and get know the reason why Tushar didn’t want to have sex with his own wife.
After dinner, we sat in the gallery with some drinks. I told him that di looked quite upset since my arrival. When I asked her the reason she shunned me. He didn’t respond immediately. But said that he doesn’t know the exact reason. But it may be because of a quarrel they had shortly before my arrival.
When I enquired the reason for the quarrel all he said that it was a husband-wife thing and he cannot say any more. I didn’t know how to proceed further. All day I had so many ideas as to how I can make him speak but now I was all blank. I tried to make him speak saying di won’t mind if he tells me.

But he calmly said, “Daksh I can understand you being concerned for your sister. But there’s nothing to worry. Once you get married you can understand my situation. You are not only my brother in law but also a good friend. But I cannot disclose to you everything that happens between me and your di. Hope you understand.” I didn’t stretch it any further.
Next day di asked, “So how did your investigation go, Mr. Detective.” Though it irked me I didn’t say anything. She thanked me for trying but I was still not done. If anything then failing had strengthened my intentions. Now it was my mission to get my di what she wanted.
I went to the market next and got some decors. When I returned home I showed them to di. There were all the things they put up on your wedding night. I decorated the room the way they show in movies. There were beautiful fragrant flowers, bed hangings, scented candles.
Di’s bedroom looked nothing less than a KJO movie set. “So how does it look?” I asked. Di smiled and said, “It looks as if it’s my first night today,” and she blushed. “I’ve got something else for you as well,” and I handed her another package I had bought. It was a beautiful red bridal saree with a matching blouse.
She looked happy and excited. “It’s beautiful,” she said. “Isn’t it? Just like you. Wait till Tushar sees you in this. He’s going to go crazy.” Taking out another package I said, “I hope I haven’t gone too far with this. But I thought this would act as a stimulant for Tushar.”
My heart beat fast as di opened the package. It was a sexy pair of red lingerie to go with her saree. I had closed my eyes the moment di opened the package. When there was no reaction I slowly opened one eye. Di was staring at me expressionless.
“Your competitive nature has grown a lot,” she said and started laughing. I felt relieved. “It’s sexy. If this doesn’t arouse Tushar to fuck me nothing will.” I was stunned by di’s boldness. But didn’t show it as I wanted her to be in that happy mood.

I said “Don’t worry I won’t be roaming the city like a goon so my sister can have some quality time with her husband. I’ve got a date” and I winked. Di laughed at which moment the bell rung. The beautician came in and started with her work. At one point she made a comment about how lucky a wife di was for me her husband to care so much about her.
Yes, she mistook us for husband and wife. As I was to clear her misunderstanding, di said, “Indeed. Only if all the men were like him the world would be so much more beautiful for us ladies,” and she gave me a wink. After some time into di’s make and all, I left for my date.
