She returned my smile good-naturedly and said, ‘well you should not be the one to complain.’ ribbing me for asking her to meet for a coffee time and again.
I just smiled and said, ‘well then you will not be saying no to coffee this time then?’.
She just smiled and said, ‘it is not like I have anything better to do till they are done, so why not?’
And so begin our first and only date, it was quite a fun time and more we spent time together, more I got convinced that this is one girl I definitely want in my bed even if just for one night. Soon we were openly flirting and talking in double meanings. I had a feeling she was also really enjoying it but still she maintained a distance maybe still vary of getting into a relationship.
And as our time together progressed, unable to control myself I told her ‘you looked a real beauty in that green gown. I would love to take it off you someday’.
She did not say anything at first on my open proposal, but then added with a smile, ‘good thing that I am not wearing it today then.’
Not wanting to be left behind I added, ‘maybe you will be wearing it when we meet next time two days from now in wedding.’
She just laughed at my words and changed the topic. We continued like that going back and forth enjoying our time till the disappeared couple returned and our time together came to an end. We said our goodbyes and went our ways.
That night I received a message from her simply saying, ‘thanks, sandy, I really had a great time today.’.
I replied back, ‘thanks, same here and I could make it even more fun if you want.’. The only thing I got back was a good night and smiley. I did not hear anything her until marriage night after that. Even I got busy with marriage rituals and functions.
Two days later on the marriage night. I saw her again with rest of the bride’s sisters, cousins, and friends. I smiled at her as guys and girls from bride’s and groom’s side bickered with each other. She was not wearing her green gown as I had asked, a bit disappointing.
As the function continued, we flirted whenever I could get a hold of her. Even hugged her given chance a couple of times. We even had a small moment over the dance floor together. She seemed to be in quite playful and fun-filled mood. The cat and mouse game continued throughout the function till midnight when the crowd started to draw down and the only small list of close family members and friends were left for the main functions.
