As you all should know i m a carefree guy who cares less about life and does all that he thinks is best. But as this is my true story I will try to be as much honest as possible. Actually I had what i wanted. My father is a rich business man in London. We have settled to London in 2000s. My higher schooling was actually accommodated there. After 12th I wanted to come back to India as i felt the need to have Indian style of education as i m an Indian by blood.

But as it were through time by father found good profit and gradually tried to expand the business at decided to settle at London. It was the worst feeling of my life. I didnt want to go. Everything i needed was here. Right here in India. In my grasp! Then why to go and leave all the pleasures behind! And why leave my best friend whom i was to marry someday! Same was with her. She was just not ready to accept I was going away her. She would cry leaning on my shoulder and tell me that we will meet again someday and then she would tie me her hand and never let me go! Our brief but indestructible friendship clause was put to halt because of distance. We shifted. Things were not the same. I didnt like the first few days in my new home and locality. But one thing for sure. London was much more fancy and cool than where i came from.
Years past by and I passed my higher educations. It was time for me to opt a collage. I had searched for my little friend in facebook with negative results. And I had almost given up hope of ever meeting here again. Things started to go. I learned about IITs in India and the quality of education they provide. I always had the instinct to love my nation. I would prefer anything that relates to my home country. As i was interested to engineering i decided i ll try for IITs. My father arranged the things for me to get my exam and luckily i cleared that and was in IIT Delhi.
It was like 2 weeks i had came to Delhi to settle down for my education. Made friends with some guys and girls. To their amazement I was not that interested in having a girlfriend or sex. They called my an “uncool londonite”. That surely was funny and all. To be honest this wasn’t because of the little life marriage thingy. It was something else which i myself don’t actually. I actually wanted the fun of being in a relation but didn’t make up to it.
Second day at collage. Call it luck or boon or whatever it may be. I actually stuck my eyes on a particular girl. She was good looking. Not the best probably. But good. I pinched myself twice to clarify if i wasn’t dreaming. That was the best moment in my entire fucking existence.
Days passed by and she gradually considered me more of a boyfriend rather than friend. It wasn’t long before i proposed her and her reply was “You dont have to say what you have always done”.
