The PuzzleBox: Discoveries

It had been about a week since Robbie had solved the
PuzzleBox, and both he and Sarah and many discussions about
their future and that of the PuzzleBox. During the week
Robbie learned what it meant to be female. Although given
the ability to chose and form what she wanted, she was
still not quite comfortable about the nuances of being a
woman. Sarah was having the time of her life changing into
any form and had tried her hand at many forms, including
many of the mythic forms she had read about. She and Robbie
had become even closer than before, with Sarah trying to
help her adjust to being a woman. Sarah had even thought
about consulting with her professor of psychology about
Robbie's problem, not the circumstances surrounding it, but
the issue at hand of getting her adjusted to her new status
in life.
Robbie had to face the issue of school. Although she was
already an honors student, that was as Robbie the male. SHE
needed to return to school, if for no other reason to get
her diploma and possibly restore her self-confidence. At
least she could go back to school; the PuzzleBox had at
least given her a past to fall back on that was much like
her old one. It hadn't taken much at all, after she and
Sarah had been within the PuzzleBox they had discussed this
with the entity inside and had come to discover that and
form that was taken would show the appropriate history for
that individual, unless someone had made the effort to not
change those histories. So at least that wouldn't be a
problem for her or her sister, when this was first was
revealed to them, the entity within the box explained that
the magics had not been completed until they solved the
PuzzleBox together, so they could return to their lives
without it being a problem.
But it was a problem, Robbie hadn't quite come to grips
with her new self. So for the last week Sarah had been
going to school for Robbie in her old male form and Robbie
had at least been able to assume Sarah's from and keep her
in classes at the Community College. Sarah had expressed a
desire to return back to her old college life this last
couple of days though and to be honest, Robbie had to agree
that it was only fair for her to get back to as normal a
life has she could, it was just a hard pill to swallow.
Within the Puzzlebox, the entity could sense Robbie's
problem but was at a loss as what to do. It had done all it
could to keep the Truehearts within the world. It had even
gone as far as to give Robbie the desire to get on with her
life on a path as close to the one originally laid out for
her. It was actually more than the entity was supposed to
be able to do, but because of the power of the Truehearts,
it became a power that it could do, but only for them. It
had already avoided one abuse of its power by the one
called Tommy who had broken into its new home and tried to
take it. Tommy was now off pleasuring the neighborhood dogs
like a Bitch in heat as a female dog. It was not an
experience that the entity would put anything into but as
the power took hold of Tommy. Tommy had shown how that
power could be corrupted, even in this modern, enlightened
world. So it imposed what will it could to provide the
appropriate punishment to Tommy for what he had done, and
any who had seen what was within Tommy's heart would have
agreed that the punishment had fit the crime, but vengeance
was what its creator was full of, not what the entity was
anymore, Not since it had been exposed to Robbie and Sarah.
It now saw what damage vengeance could do and would prefer
not to have to seek out that kind of pain anymore.
Sarah came home from college that following Monday and
presented Robbie with the idea to meet with one of her
professors at the college. Robbie was skeptical of her idea
but decided that it couldn't hurt to at least talk to a
professional about her issues of womanhood. Sarah called
her professor and both she and Robbie went to see him that
evening. At the professors home they met up with Jack
Holms, a psychologist whom had some training in the mystic
arts and was completely unaware of the situation that was
about to visit his doorstep, as far as he was concerned, a
student of his and her sister were coming over to visit for
some advice on what appeared to be a gender issue. He
didn't realize how close to the truth he really was.
Before they left for the evening, Robbie went in to see the
entity in the box and to let it know of her feelings about
what was happening. The Entity listened and let Robbie know
that it understood her feelings, (they were after all,
psychically linked and it knew of all her fears and
feeling) and told her once again of its offer to help her
find those it knew of to help with her problem. Robbie said
that she would consider it and went to leave, when suddenly
she asked the entity if she could bring it with her to meet
this professor and the entity agreed that it might be a
good idea to bring the PuzzleBox along.
When Robbie and Sarah arrived at the at the home of Jack
Holms, the Doctor noticed that Robbie was carrying a
antique box with her and when he asked to look at the box
was shocked to see what it was.
"Where did you get this at?" he asked. To which Robbie and
Sarah both looked at each other. Jack once again asked,
"Where did you get this PuzzleBox", with more urgency in
his voice...
