I wasn't even mildly surprised when the word came down from on-
high. "Please see me in my office, right away!" a curt woman's
voice came over the phone. And that voice, it sounded like a
rat's scraping its bitchy claws against a cold, cold chalkboard,
juxtaposed against such a beautiful summer day. The voice seemed
thrilled at the prospect. Of course, it was that bitch from HR.
And yes, it was clear enough to me - this is the sound of getting
fired - again.
I hung up the phone and looked down dejectedly from my office
windows, looked far down below to the street. Eyes squinting, I
could just make out the people who looked like ants walking along
the sidewalk, and I knew I'd soon be one of them. Yes, this was a
call I'd known was coming for some time. Not with a sense of
dread, for I had seen it coming for far too long, now. This call,
I'd been expecting.
I turned and looked at my corner office one last time, with its
sun streaming though the windows, and thought about how many
temps I had made permanent secretaries here. You know, you make
'em permanent by screwing them on the desk! Finally, I shrugged
and decided that this isn't the time or place to go without
dignity. I had given much, yes, to this company. But I had taken
one liberty too many, and had been ready to accept my imminent
demise for a long time, now.
I just let my mind drift as the elevator seemed to float down to
that smug bitch's office. Down and down it went, as though...
Well, as though to corporate Hades in a manner of speaking. There
would be no mercy here, that much I took for granted. That mealy
mouthed HR bitch was gonna take great delight in this. I
determined not to let her be too smug as I entered her office.
"Well, well, well, Mr. Green, please close the door."
Yes, she looked smug as hell. I closed the door behind me and
took a chair. I was about to tell her off, when there was that
squeaky voice again.
"I see you have quite a track record with the secretaries, not to
mention the floor sales ladies at this store. What have you to
say for yourself? Do you think it's easy to sell cosmetics and
lingerie in this department store despite all this fuss over
you?"
There it was, that sneer. I resolved not to let her get the
better of me as I blurted out, "Huh?"
That'll show her, I thought.
"You've been exploiting my employees! What have you to say for
yourself?" She let the question hang in the air for a long time,
and I knew this - this would be a classic stare-down contest. I
burped, She went Hmmph! Okay, she won round one.
"I think it's only fair that you find out how valued what you
clearly consider to be our little bimbo sales clerks. Now, I'm
not asking you, Mr. Green, I'm telling you! You will be a little
bimbo sales clerk for the rest of today! Who knows? You might
even like it!"
I looked, of course, for the door. Probably wouldn't make it
before this crazy lady was all over me. So I looked down at the
floor.
"Now, here's how it's gonna be, Mr. Green. You'll go with Betty
to Foundations, and then you'll report back here to me for
further instructions. Is that understood?"
It was that scratchy, female voice of hers again. She was
obviously crazy, so using my head, I figured, humor her and then
run!
"Okay," I said.
"That's a good boy. As a matter of fact," pressing the intercom,
she screeched, "Send Betty on in."
No sooner had Betty, who I'd know from recent liaisons in my own
office entered, than the door - my escape route - closed again.
And she had a lady's bodysuit dangling from her fingers! I didn't
mind that as much as the smirk on her face.
"Now, strip!" The squeaky voice said.
Of course, I looked for a window to jump out of, but HR being far
beneath my station, its boss lady had none in her office. Only a
picture on her wall, which was a lovely Monet Lilly pad landscape
that I seriously considered jumping into.
"Now just you hold on..."
That was about all I got out before Betty started stripping me.
Not like it was the first time Betty had seen me naked, but this
old crow of an HR woman? I wouldn't want her to see me stripped
naked by Betty!
That HR bitch! She didn't lift a finger, either. Just sat there
leering while Betty made me step into the satiny body suit. She
didn't even get out of her chair until Betty was pulling the
straps up over my shoulders. And only then, to feel my ass.
"Good boy, or..." now her hand rubbing my crotch, "should I say
good girl now, hmm?" How I wished she didn't leave her hand
linger there for quite so long!
I couldn't believe the predicament I was in. A few minutes ago, I
was in my corner office, king of my domain! Now?
"Now you shall go with Betty to the salon and report back to me
when you're ready for the next step in your training!" Well, let
me tell ya, I didn't like the sound of that. But what else was I
gonna do?
I kept more or less hiding behind Betty while she led me out and
to the elevators and down to the main store's eighth floor. Salon
level, where every girl I'd ever patted on the ass seemed to be
waiting. What could I do? I just kept looking down at my feet,
and basically got led to a salon chair.
There, they did unmentionable things to me. They basically ripped
the hair off my legs, arms and chest, face, neck and back. But
soothed it, then, with nice smelling creams. My eyebrows were
torn from me, but then soothed with nice smelling lotions. And
something was done to my hair, which smelled just awful! But
then, it felt kinda nice!
At the end, I was led back to the bitch in HR, what a pompous
woman! She was, much to my chagrin, delighted at the results!
"Mr. Green, I've taken the liberty of having these pantyhose sent
up from our hosiery section. You remember Mary from hosiery?"
There she stood, my Mary. I had Mary back in one of the changing
rooms - I thought she liked me!
"Just step into these, Mr. Green. Or should I call you Miss
Green, now?" I did what any red-blooded American male would do,
of course. I blushed!
But one look at that HR bitch's face told me I'd better let Mary
do her thing. So of course, I looked down at the floor. Soon Mary
was sliding the silky reviled things up my legs, and I'll admit,
I did shiver a bit. I'd loved the things on Mary, but on me?
Perish the thought, I say!
I only wish Mary didn't stroke the insides of my bare legs like
she did so much. And then that evil HR bitch put silicone breast
enhancers in my bra cups. Did I say MY bra cups? No, bra cups
that came with the satiny bodysuit. I'd love to wipe that smirk
off that HR bitch's face.
"Well, Mr. Green, you do actually look more like a little miss
now. What say we have Gwen here take you down to the Misses
department, then, for nice skirt and blouse?"
My anger saw no end, and burned into the floor through my teary
eyes. Gwen was the chick I'd had after what seemed a myriad of
lunches. That freeloader! She'd cost me plenty, and now?
Now I was led by the hand to the Misses department, third floor.
All sorts of figure clinging clothes danced about me and Gwen, as
she made me try on so many different miniskirts and adorable
little tops - I mean horrible tops. It was awful, just awful!
Then that bitch from HR came down and dragged me to the shoe
section herself, personally! I had to sit there with my knees
together or else my old friend Pete, who I'd risen above at the
department store over the years was gonna be able to look right
up my skirt! The worst part was that he kept tickling my feet and
making me giggle. How I hated that!
Finally, with the shoes, pantyhose, skirt, pretty top, makeup,
hair I hoped that HR bitch would be done with me. I'd learned my
lesson. I needed mercy, any kind of mercy. But it was not be.
That HR bitch said, "And now, my husband, you'll damn well spend
the rest of the day spritzing perfume on passers by in the
cosmetics isle. Ground floor! Pamela, take her away!"
