They were sitting on her couch and doing some serious kissing, and for the first time in a long time he wished he could get it up. Tamara saw the look on his face and asked him what he was thinking about. He told her, and she told him she didn't care about that. When it was getting late she asked him to stay the night. He decided he would and soon they were in bed kissing. They finally fell asleep in each other's arms. When he awoke he saw she was already up. He got dressed and when he walked out into the apartment she had breakfast all ready for him. They talked as they ate and too soon he was kissing her good bye to go to work. As soon as he walked in Sherry got a smug look on her face and asked if he'd gone home last night. She told him she saw he was wearing the same clothes he wore yesterday. He told her it was none of her business and then laughed, thinking of how much he enjoyed last night. They had agreed to meet at an Italian restaurant tonight and he was looking forward to seeing her. He knew he was entranced with her and wondered if it was love or just infatuation. Her face danced in front of him just about all day. His lawyer called and told him Dr. Henderson's insurance carrier was offering seven hundred fifty thousand dollars to settle his suit. This was more than he expected, and he told the lawyer that it didn't sound bad. He asked, and his lawyer told him they had originally sued for one million dollars, and this wasn't bad for an out of court settlement. He agreed to take it. His lawyer said he would have to sign some papers and he told him he could stop right after lunch, about one fifteen. It was all set. At two he had an appointment with Dr. Bates. Dr. Bates told him Dr. Henderson's license had been suspended and would more than likely be revoked by the state medical board. He confirmed Dr. Bates suspicion that his breasts were getting larger. Dr. Bates asked him if he was going to continue taking the female hormones. He told him he was but didn't really know where he wanted to go with it. Dr. Bates explained the ramifications of continuing, and he understood. Upon checking his blood test results he recommended a smaller dose of hormones and gave him some samples he had plus a prescription for the lower dosage. He left feeling pretty good about how things were progressing. That night he had spaghetti and Tamara had ravioli for supper. They laughed a lot during their conversation and he was amazed at how easy she was to talk to. He invited her to his house and she agreed, telling him she wondered what his place looked like. When they arrived, he gave her the grand tour. She saw it was nicer than the house she and her ex-husband had lived in. She really liked the bird motif the kitchen and dining area was done up in. She was impressed with how clean the whole place was. They kissed and watched some television. Mostly they talked about their feelings on a lot of subjects. Both realized they had a lot in common. They got to talking about relationships and found they had agreement on how a marriage should be. Tamara spent the night, and the next morning at breakfast he asked her if she wanted to move in with him. She told him she would think about it. He worried that he would lose her if he pushed the matter. All day he wondered about his relationship with Tamara. He finally decided he loved her very much. He decided to let her know how much he loved her. They were to meet at a well-known buffet for supper. When they met for supper he waited until he thought the time was right to let her know how he felt. He made an impassionate speech telling her how important she was to him. He didn't know where he found some of the things he was saying, but they came out of his mouth. When he finished he saw she had tears in her eyes. He was afraid she wasn't anywhere nearly as attached to him as he was to her. Then she finally said she was afraid she loved him also and that she'd been afraid to say anything to him because she wasn't sure he felt the same way. He told her he didn't have a ring to give her yet and that he had to wait a year to get remarried, but would she marry him. She had tears in her eyes when she said she would. They went to his house and while they were kissing she told him she would move in with him. She said she had to give a months notice and that she would do that tomorrow. They agreed to move her on the week-end. The next day was Friday and he had an appointment with Dr. Bates. The doctor told him Dr. Henderson's license had been revoked, that he no longer could practice in this state or any other state that had a mutual agreement with this state. He also told him Dr. Henderson's wife was divorcing him. He told him that if he kept on taking the female hormones he could do permanent damage to his male reproductive system. He recommended that he stop taking the hormones, as his breasts wouldn't shrink much, and then he wouldn't lose his reproductive ability. He told him it might take as long as three months for it to return to previous levels. Steve said he would think about it and thanked him for the information. On Saturday he had a key to Tamara's apartment and was moving boxes she had packed, when on his third trip he ran into Tammy in the hallway. She recognized him immediately, and he told her he was helping a friend move. She told him she was really sorry about what she had done to him. She said if she could undo everything she would. She added that she wished it had never happened and she never gave it a thought to ask Dr. Henderson if he was married. She said she hoped he would be able to forgive her someday, and that she didn't know how good she'd had it until she lost it. He continued to move Tamara and thought about what Tammy had said. He knew she was sorry, but wondered if she was sorry only because of what she had lost. When Tamara got off from work they moved the last of her things. They got her all moved and were resting on the couch. She talked about their wedding and he laughed when she suggested they wear matching wedding gowns. Monday at work his lawyer called and told him he had the check for him from the doctor's insurance carrier. An appointment was made for him to pick it up in the afternoon. He was at his lawyer's office and signing the papers that said he would not be suing further against Dr. Henderson. He got them signed and his lawyer started to tell him it had been an easy case to settle. His lawyer handed him a check for five hundred thousand from the insurance company. He said they had already issued him a check for his percentage and he had deposited it. He surprised him when he handed him another check for one hundred thousand dollars, laughing as he told him that for the time he had spent on the case he was still getting paid enough. He said he didn't feel right accepting that much for his services. Steve knew he'd still received one hundred fifty thousand for his services. He thanked his lawyer and soon was on his way to deposit his checks in his bank account. Time seemed to fly for him and three months later he wondered how long before his manhood would start to respond. So far there was no sign of it waking up. He worried that maybe it was too late for it to recover. It was five months before his wedding and they had already found a minister who would marry them with both dressed as brides. When the minister heard what had happened to Steve he expressed his solemn condolences to him. He said it was the oddest marriage he had ever performed but as long it was between a man and woman he was all right with it They went shopping for wedding gowns and after a lot of shopping picked what they wanted. It took them three weeks to find exactly the right ones. Sherry had agreed to be his maid of honor and he thought everything was all set. Time just seemed to fly in a way he had never known. Then a week before the wedding he almost cried when he felt his manhood start to stir. It wasn't much but he definitely felt it. He was so happy that it was finally responding. The wedding day arrived and they were more in love than ever. He thought she looked like a goddess in her wedding gown. She thought he looked so feminine in his matching gown. The ceremony went off without a hitch. It was a very small wedding but it was very festive. He had sent Tammy a wedding invitation and was surprised to see her there. When there was a quiet period where he was standing alone she came up to him and handed him a card. She told him she was sorry for what she had done to him and he told her if it wasn't for that he would never have met Tamara. She had forgotten all about sending him to her in the first place. After all of the guests had left they loaded the three presents into the car and left for their wedding night stay. He had gotten the bridal suite at a local hotel. When they arrived and saw the champagne and candy awaiting them they giggled together. He opened the champagne and they started to celebrate their new life together. They were feeling the effects of the champagne when they went to bed. They started to kiss and they consummated their marriage. He entered her as a man does a woman and she enjoyed it as she never had before. She had never had a man make such slow and tender love to her as he did. The next morning after enjoying a room service breakfast they headed home. At home they opened their gifts, then the cards. He left Tammy's card until last. Inside he found a gift card to what had been his favorite store before he found Clairmont's. Also there was a note inside. He unfolded it and read it. It read -- Steve, I hope you found the perfect mate for yourself. You deserve it. I know I shattered all the trust you could have for me and it is all my fault. You have to believe I am so very sorry for what I did to you. I didn't realized how much I lost when I lost you, until it was too late. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me. I pray you have a beautiful, happy, healthy wedded life. It was signed Tammy. He had mixed feelings about it He showed it to Tamara, telling her he was surprised she would include the note in their card. Tamara knew he still had some feelings for her but she wasn't afraid of losing him. In the middle of the afternoon during a period when there was a lull Tamara suggested they make love again. They did exactly that and when she was experiencing after glow she told him she never thought love-making could be so wonderful as it was with him. A month later, one morning when she got up she felt an uneasiness in her stomach, but it passed. The next morning she felt like she was going to throw up but didn't. She wondered if she was coming down with something. The third morning she did throw up. She called the doctor and made an appointment for in the afternoon. When she saw the doctor the first thing he did was have blood and urine tests run. He did a complete check-up on her and when he received the results of her blood and urine he was smiling. She asked why he was smiling, and he told her she was pregnant. She said that wasn't possible because she was sterile. He explained that when she was checked for that it was very possible that she was too nervous to release an egg to be fertilized. He told her he had seen many times where a woman couldn't get pregnant because of nervousness. The magnitude of it didn't sink in right away. She was on her way home when it sunk in. She decided she just might make Clairmont's before they closed. She made it and immediately headed for the maternity clothes department. She chose a plain white maternity top to buy. When she got home she laid the top on the couch and started to make supper. When Steve got home she told him she had picked up a new top and he should go take a look at it. He did and came back and said it was a different style for her. She told him she wouldn't need it for awhile but she would be needing it. He asked if it was for some upcoming special occasion. She said you might say that then told him it was a maternity top. He asked what she would be needing a maternity top for and she finally told him he was going to be a father. He had to sit down. After he got his breath back he gave her a long gentle kiss. Over supper she explained all that the doctor had told her. She told him he was the best thing to come into her life and that he was the only one who could have made this possible. The whole evening they celebrated her getting pregnant. He had never thought he would become a father but the thought excited him. The next morning he told her he was going to see Dr. Bates and get the surgery set up to remove his breasts so he could wear men's clothing once again. When Tamara told him he could get breast forms to wear dresses when he felt like it, he readily agreed. A month later he had his surgery. The first day he wore men's clothes it seemed so different to him. He was ready to go back to wearing dresses. He missed looking pretty and the feel of the softness of the women's clothes. He managed to stave off the desire to wear a dress until Saturday, when he put on a dress using the breast forms for the first time. It didn't feel the same to him. He was totally surprised that he no longer felt pretty in the dress. Finally in the afternoon he went and put on his men's clothes. Tamara laughed and told him fatherhood had changed his outlook entirely but she was very happy with whatever he wore. She told him to savor the time he had spent in dresses and to look forward to the great times they would be having with their new addition to their family. He knew she was right.
