Peter was a normal kid, nice family, nice house; he was not too rich and
not too poor. But he had one talent that stood him out from the rest,

and telekinesis. The abilities started to emerge when he was about 8

years he told nobody, then came the incident.
It all started on a windy day, one of the windiest days of the year.
Peter and his friends were walking to school and doing their best to
keep the wind from blowing their backpacks open. As Peter struggled to

mind, but he knew if he did that his powers would not be a secret much

Suddenly Wesley's backpack blew open, so for the next few minutes
everybody was scrambling around to try and get the papers. Once they
had gotten back on track everything went as well as could be expected.
The school was alive with discussion about the troubles everybody had
trying to get to school.
Soon Peter found his girlfriend Catherine, her route to school was
sheltered so the wind hadn't effected her as much.
"Hey beautiful," Peter said.

The rest of the day progressed smoothly. But at the end Catherine asked

The next day was a lull. There was no wind at all, and they found the
papers Wes lost stuck on a tree branch 100 feet from where they were
walking. School was uneventful, Peter didn't get a chance to see
Catherine, but was happy that he would see her later at their date.
He walked back home and read Catherine's mind for what she was expecting
him to wear, so he could conjure it up. It turned out she only wanted
him to wear what he normally would wear. So the conjuring was easy.
At 6:00 he drove down to her house to pick her up. She came out of the
door and Peter was shocked by how beautiful she looked, her hair tied up
and a lovely floral dress on. He acted gentlemanly and opened the car
door for her. They talked on the drive to the movie theater about
really nothing of importance. Then they got to the theater.
They walked into the theater with barely any time left before the movie.
So Catherine went and got them seats, while Peter bought food. He snuck
in quietly and found where Catherine was sitting, in the very back of
the theater.
Catherine liked the movie, but it just didn't suit Peter's tastes. Of
course he didn't tell her about it (for obvious reasons). But it ended
and both Peter and Catherine got back into Peter's car and they drove to
the restaurant where they had reservations. They had a good dinner and
lucky for Peter his dad had lent him his credit card. Peter and
Catherine got back into the car, and Peter wasn't able to help but
thinking what he had been trying to avoid all night, I wish I could get
her into a bed....
Catherine had been sitting in the back of the car wondering why Peter

so he walked into the foyer, and was going to say Good-Bye when she

Peter realized she was right. 'Plus now that her mind is back to normal
I won't have to worry about her making to irrational decisions.'
"Sure," Peter said. Catherine was ecstatic.
The couple stayed up late talking and kissing. They eventually went to
sleep at about 4:00 in the morning. But before he went to bed Peter
wondered how Catherine felt right then. What is it like to be her?
Peter woke up feeling very strange. His body felt weird. He turned his
head sideways and saw that instead of being on the floor of the room he
was on the bed. Then a black lock of hair fell down into his face. He

real!" After a small pause she continued, "It was one of the most

'I wonder?' Peter thought. 'I think I can trust her... But what if
she freaks? No that's not like her.' So he began his story about the
secret he had kept for so long.
"And that's it," Peter finished. "Do you believe me?"
"I don't know..." Catherine said skeptically.
"Here, let's have a demonstration," Peter said.
Suddenly surrounded by a bubble of oxygen the two of them stood on top
of Olympus Mons, one of the tallest mountains of the lunar surface.
Catherine gasped and collapsed unconscious. So Peter brought them back
to her room on Earth, and thought up some smelling salts to bring her
out of the faint. She stammered for a few minutes, until she was calm
enough to ask a question. "Can I do that?"
Peter thought for a minute before he replied, "Sure." And in a surge of
willpower used his own abilities to duplicate the same effects in
Catherine, minus the power to use her abilities to affect him. She
started to try them out on different objects in her room, changing
colors, minor stuff. Then she decided to make a major change and
changed the one thing she didn't like about herself. Her bust. She

Peter, seeing this, felt it was time to stop her before she made a
change he would have to reverse. "Catherine, remember people still
think that the world is as it was before the changes you made. Just
keep that in mind."
Catherine looked up at Peter, and hearing what he said she decided to
stop herself before she got to engrossed in modifying the world. But
she did use the power to read Peter's mind and see the limitation he put
on her abilities, so she just tweaked it and took the limitation away.
Peter was glad she had finally stopped, thought for a moment and decided
to redo the change earlier, but only to Catherine. Concentrating, he
thought about what he wanted and felt the world change. He saw

homeroom bell rang, and the two had to run to not be late. During the

hey had to go back to class, so they were unable to discuss matters
further.
During the last period curiosity got the better of Peter and he excused
himself and went to the bathroom, but he took a wrong turn and instead
