It sounds crazy that a one dollar bet completely changed my life. But
if you read my story, you will see how my life became a total replica of
the movie 'Trading Places.' My tale can best be told from the
perspectives of the three protagonists?Jasmine, Christi, and myself.
Jasmine's Story: I began working for Mr. Johnson about two years ago.
I remember at my first interview that Mr. Johnson was more interested in
my looks than in my abilities. Instead of asking me about my
secretarial skills, we discussed everything from fashion to music. He
even asked me if I had a boyfriend.
You could tell immediately that Mr. Johnson was a lonely, single 30-
something workaholic. He was highly successful in business, but
obviously a failure in his personal life with women. His slight build
and timid demeanor were a definite turnoff. He obviously wanted a hot
secretary in order to compliment his ego. It was a way to show off to
the other bosses.
I knew that my looks would get me in the door with someone like Mr.
Johnson, or Michael, as he wanted to be called. Michael stared at my
skyscraper heels throughout my interview. I dressed to impress; wearing
a leopard print top, and a tight mini. As an African American female,
with a college degree, I expect to be more than just a secretary. I
knew this job had potential for advancement.
Mr. Johnson's Story: I hired Jasmine immediately. I will admit that it
was because of her good looks. But she also had an outstanding resume.
Still, it was exciting for me to have someone as beautiful as Jasmine
for a secretary.
I have always been attractive to 'dominant type' females. Jasmine fits
the bill. Maybe it was my upbringing? I was raised by a bossy
stepmother and an even bossier stepsister. They used to make me do
their housekeeping and laundry. I never got a chance to play sports
like the other boys. So, I became good in school and later in business.
I was never really interested in 'guy' things?you might say I am a
little feminine.
I never had much of a social life, so I focused on work. I think I am a
good boss, even though my former secretaries complained that I was too
demanding. With Jasmine, I was attracted to her dominant, aggressive
nature.
Christi's Story: I sort of like being the 'office girl.' Mr. Johnson
is a good boss. But I really work for Jasmine because my title is
'Secretarial Assistant.' I never went to college, but I did go to
beauty school for two years. I ran out of money just before graduating.
When Jasmine told me that she wanted to make the bet, I thought she was
crazy!
Jasmine said that she wanted to bet me one dollar that in 6 months, she
would become the boss and Mr. Johnson would be her secretary. I said,
'You are on!' I thought the whole thing was cute.
Jasmine's Story: I know it may sound cruel at times, but turning Mr.
Johnson into my secretary was something that he probably wanted all
along. In his subconscious, he recognized that I was a better boss.
His place was to serve me?and deep down he was aware of this.
In order to get my plan rolling, I decided to put Mr. Johnson on female
hormones. My friend, LaDonna, works as a nurse at the local hospital,
so she was able to get me the drugs I needed. Each day, when Mr.
Johnson asked for his daily coffee, I would make sure to add small doses
of hormones.
The purpose was to make Mr. Johnson even less aggressive. The female
hormones would bring out his true submissive nature.
Christi's Story: I felt guilty at first helping Jasmine spike Mr.
Johnson's coffee. But it was kind of fun to see the changes. He was
becoming more and more girlish?and a better boss. I told Mr. Johnson
that I had a date one night and he told me to leave early to get ready.
We chatted about fashion and gossip magazines. He even confided in me
that his breasts were sometimes itching.
Mr. Johnson's Story: I noticed that once Jasmine started as my
secretary, I was unable to concentrate on my work. There were days when
I would spend an hour talking with Christi, the office girl, about her
boyfriend problems. I just seemed utterly distracted. Thankfully,
Jasmine was there to do my daily reports and what not. I even let her
go to meetings in my place. I was lucky to have her.
Jasmine's Story: My plan to become the boss involved gradually
feminizing Michael to the point where he would totally surrender to me.
I even began sitting in his office to do the daily reports. He would
sit at my desk while I did his work. The other managers began to notice
these changes. One executive, Charlie Morgan, would consult with me
about important matters?going totally over Michael's head.
I even started having Michael bring me coffee. I told him that I needed
lots of caffeine if I was to do his workload. I could tell that he
didn't mind as long as the work got done.
Christi's Story: I was spending more and more time with Mr. Johnson.
Jasmine would be in his office all day long, so Mr. Johnson would help
me with filing and my daily tasks. He even wanted me to call him
Michael, but it felt uncomfortable since I am only 20 year old. When
Mr. Johnson complained again about his itchy breasts, I suggested that
he start wearing a bra. He blushed at the notion.
Jasmine's Story: The next part of my plan was to set Michael up with
another man. I suggested that on Friday, we should all go out after
work for happy hour. It would sort of be a 'gal's night out.' Michael
said that maybe he shouldn't go, but Christi chimed in that Michael was
'one of the girls.' I made sure that Jake, a gay friend of mine, would
show up later at the bar.
Sure enough, we were all out having a great time! Michael was a little
over-served when I introduced him to Jake. Keep in mind, Jake is buff
personal trainer?totally hot. Jake asked Michael to dance. The next
thing you know, Jake and Michael were slow dancing on the dance floor.
Then, Jake and Michael began making out?like a couple of teenagers.
Christi even took a picture of it all!
Well, on Monday, Michael slinked into his office trying to be unnoticed.

Michael's Story: I don't know what even happened. I was so wasted.
Christi said I was totally making out with Jake in front of all the
other employees. I don't even know how I got home. I was so groggy. I
think Jake got me home safely. Who knows what we did?
Christi's Story: It was so cute the way Jake and Michael were making
out. Jake is definitely the man in this relationship. I just hope
Michael gave him good head--- I can't stop giggling. Michael is hiding
in his office all day today. I just wish he would come out because I
need help with these files!
Jasmine's Story: Well, at 4:00, Michael and I were called into Mr.
Wilkerson's office. Mr. Wilkerson is the CEO. He and his wife started
this company over 30 years ago.
Mr. Wilkerson laid down the law! He said that he was devastated by the
scandalous behavior of Michael. Somebody even sent him a picture of
Jake and Michael making out.
He said, "There are going to be some changes around here. Michael, it
would cause too much legal trouble to fire you. Instead, you are now
demoted to secretary. Jasmine may start immediately in your old
position. You work for her now!"
Christi's Story: I felt bad about sending that picture to Mr.
Wilkerson. But it is for the best. Jasmine will be a better boss.
Maybe Michael will turn out to be a good secretary.
Michael's Story: I should never have hired Jasmine in the first place!
Now, I am going to be her secretary? It is totally humiliating!
Jasmine's Story: It has been six months since I won my dollar bet. I
enjoy being the boss. Michael, or Missy, we now call him, has been
demoted again. He is now Christi's assistant. She is now my secretary.
You should see the way Christi bosses around Missy. She makes him bring
her coffee and follow her around like a puppy. She even makes him give
her manicures. I hear he is pretty good.
Christi's Story: I used to feel sorry for Mr. Johnson...err Missy. But
it is great to have a good office girl. I have taught Missy how to give
manis and pedis. She is booked solid during each lunch hour for the
next three weeks. All of the ladies including Jasmine use his services.
I can be a tough boss. The other day, I asked Missy to make sure the
conference room was spotless because Jasmine was having a meeting with
an important client. He failed to empty all the trash cans. As
punishment, I made him dye his hair blonde. He is such a ditz
sometimes. Maybe being a blonde suits him well.
Missy's Story: Working for Christi and Jasmine is tough because they
are so demanding. I hated becoming a blonde, but Jake really likes my
hair this way. I have it in a cute pixie style. Jake and I now live
together.
