I sat sadly in a cell below the courtroom, with my best friend Adam
beside me. Why was I stupid enough to key that car, and then threaten
its owner with a knife that my friend passed to me? It was just meant as
a laugh, not as anything serious, and I didn't know Adam had a knife
with him, now both of us are looking at prison time.
A bailiff unlocked the gate for my lawyer to come inside, and he frowned
at them. "Sixteen years old, and you are going around armed and damaging
people's cars. You were caught on camera and there are witnesses too. If
you insist on going to trial and are convicted, you are looking at a
five-year prison sentence. Even allowing for parole which takes half the
time off that is over two years in prison and a criminal record."
He paused. "Because it is your first known offense, if you plead guilty
and spare the cost of a trial, the judge will suspend your sentence, if
you and your friend agree to the Bailey option. You may well have heard
of it...John Bailey, who murdered a small girl aged only ten. One of his
strict parole conditions eight years later was that he had SRS...sex

later abuse, make it a lot harder for vigilantes to find him and perhaps
moderate his criminal impulses. As far as I know, it worked."
I crossed my legs firmly. "I would rather do prison time then get my

"We would not ask you to go that far, and in five years you can change
back, we won't change you permanently. You won't be let off as such, you
are on parole. Any dressing as the males you are where it can be seen,
and any more law breaking, and it's jail time, this is your very last
chance. As for the voice, we have a way to give you girl voices and to
reverse it so you'll get your own male voices back unharmed. And whilst
your punishment will be mentioned in the press, your names won't, both
as you are under eighteen and to avoid a great deal of public
humiliation or worse. We will make it with hormones and other things so

I was stunned by what the lawyer said. Five years in prison? I'd never
cope with that. Not ever. I nearly cried at the idea. Of course the
other option didn't seem too clever either but it did mean a way of
avoiding going to jail. I sat with my head down as Thomas talked to the
lawyer. What was I going to do? I mean College was due to start soon but
it meant I'd have to do it as a girl.
I looked up into the lawyer's eyes and he saw he was being totally
serious. Skirts or prison? And prison was a horrible place. I just knew
it would be. I only carried the knife, a pocketknife really as I wasn't
big and tall like Thomas and now we'd maybe be in skirts and stuff. Even
then we'd only be on parole, even at college.
I twisted my fingers in my lap and looked at Thomas. He was thinking
hard too. I spoke very softly and explained I was terrified of jail so
I'd do it. I hoped Thomas would agree.

I sighed. Being a girl for five years sounds a lot better then rotting
in prison for five years with who knows as a cellmate. Who knows, it
might be fun. It's not as if I would have to find a boyfriend after all.
"I'll take the deal."
"This is your last chance; you mess up again, you get caught breaking
the law again, it's the slammer. You two are very lucky to be being
given this chance after what you did." I signed the papers and passed
them on to Adam to sign and we were given a couple of pictures. "This is
what you two will look like; pretty, passable girls with voices to
match. Of course, your mothers will have to teach you girl skills so you
can truly pass."
I looked at the pictures and sighed. It was obvious that the authorities
had the skills and the knowledge to make it happen as they wanted. We
would be obviously 'nice' girls making their way through college and
getting ready for the 'big, wide, world'.
The punishment would last until our early twenties and mean that a huge
amount of time would be spent living and studying as girls. I heard the
bit about mothers helping and cringed. My family was hardly functioning
and that would make things tricky. I could see that I'd have to talk to
the Probation Officer and let them know. I really hoped that Thomas
would be okay too as he was my best friend.

I looked at the floor as the lawyer kept speaking to explain the precise
rules to us. The rules were very clear and understandable.
"Being a girl can't be that bad; if we look and sound passable none
outside our family will know who we really are." I reluctantly signed
the consent form for the needed treatment, knowing it was not permanent.
"We are going to take you to the hospital for a minor operation or two.
Do not worry, we are not going to cut off your boy parts, just tuck them
out of the way properly so you don't have a bulge in tight trousers or a
skirt. And we will put implants in your chest that again, can be removed
without causing a permanent effect. And lastly, we'll give you a voice
change to give you girl voices that are perfect." When they took me and
my best friend to the hospital I wondered what I would look and sound
like when I woke up from the sedation.
The lawyer outlined all the details and made the necessary preparations
to take us to hospital. I looked up to see a new woman enter the room,
"Hello, I'm Mrs. Andrea Jones. I'm going to be your Probation Officer.
The law requires it to be a woman so you've drawn me. Please understand
this, I'm here to help you alter your ways. It will take and effort but
I'm sure at the end of it, you'll find it a very rewarding experience."
She paused and continued, "At the present time, I'm undecided as to
whether you should be left with your parents or placed with another
family. We often find it helps to utterly change everything. You would
of course be allowed contact with your family but think of it as moving
out to go to college. I can't make that decision yet as I'm still
waiting to see which local colleges have spaces for two errant young
ladies."
She walked to the door and paused, "I'll see you both later. Please
don't be too scared. The procedure doesn't hurt that much and it is
really very simple. Take care girls and I'll see you later." With a
cheery wave she left us.
A little while later we found ourselves being escorted to a small white
van that took us to hospital. In a very business like way we had our
fingerprints and names confirmed and within a short time we were in bed
and under sedation. The nurses were very kind and tried hard to make us
relax. After all they knew a calmer patient makes for a calmer, smoother
running ward.
The sedation made me very sleepy and I eventually drifted off.

I drifted off too and woke with hair in my eyes. Long hair. I ran my
hands through it and pulled slightly, but stopped when it hurt. Hair
extensions, they must have woven extensions into my hair. What else have
they done to me? I felt my chest and discovered some breasts where my

what I had now were bigger. "They...I must look just like a girl, and

I came round slowly and the ward was a little dark. As I tried to sit up
I felt really sick so I dropped right back onto the bed to try and make
the world stop spinning. I lay very still and gripped the sheets.
Eventually I managed to get the room to stop moving and I opened my eyes
a little further. Hair seemed to be blocking my view and I felt a little
unbalanced even though I was flat on the bed.
A voice floated over me, "Sweetie...please...just relax...." I turned my
head to see the nurse and the Social Worker. She continued,
"Your...err...sister is doing well, in fact very well. She's already
moving around in her bed but you're to remain still and relax. We've had
to undertake some extra work on you and your sister to get the judge to
sign off the papers." I started to breathe much faster as my heart
raced. The Nurse noted my reaction and adjusted the drip a tiny
fraction.
I floated a little more and felt sleepy. I heard the Nurse talking about
the Doctor paying us both a visit but I was already drifting off, the
pain in my chest no more now than a very minor irritant.

It was with a lot of relief that I realized my penis was there but it
had been somehow hidden from view so it would not show. I looked for
some clothes to wear and found them. Some purple panties and a purple
bra, which felt really good when I put them on. Then a pink T-shirt and
a pretty blue dress. There was a watch with a pink strap, several
bracelets, a ring and a necklace, and some clip on earrings. I put them
on and blew myself a kiss in the mirror. I really do look like a girl
now, a very girly one too. I expect I'll have to wear makeup too. I
thought.
I drifted awake to find an older, nice looking nurse looking at me.
"Ah...young lady you're awake!" I sat up a bit more and faced her. I had
to brush some hair from my face to see properly. She continued, "We took
the chance whilst you were under to fix your nose a little bit more and
in addition just like your sister we've adjusted your lips."
I sat up further and then felt the odd sensation of weight in my chest.
She looked at me as I noticed, "Yes, sweetie you've got boobs now. They
look very nice. Now, c'mon sweetie time to get up." I slid out of bed
and put my feet on the cold floor and stood up in my stripy yellow and
white nightdress. I pulled it off and faced her totally nude. She passed
me some power blue lacy panties and a matching bra. I stepped into them
and faced her. I tried to speak but my voice had got much higher and the
nurse grinned.
I then sat on the edge of the bed and slowly and carefully pulled on a
pair of bright striped rainbow ankle socks and with a little bit of
effort I managed to get a short denim skirt on along with a nice top.
Once I had dressed, the nurse suggest I rest a little just like my
'sister'. I couldn't help but yawn as I lay on the bed.
As I lay there I noticed a small wooden box on the table beside me and
looked at the nurse. She smiled at me, "Go on sweetie...they're
yours...help yourself." I pulled the box to me and I looked in it. There
was a yellow and pink watch and two big bracelets. I slipped them on and
but the nurse reminded me to make sure the watch went on securely.
With a grin, the nurse shook the box again and I heard it rattle. She
looked at me, "C'mon sweetie.... think a little bit.... your sister
managed to find the rings and the necklace. C'mon get them on." I
rummaged in the box a little more and pulled out the rings. I slipped
them on and they felt a little heavy but still looked very nice.
Finally, the necklace went on. It was a thin sliver and jade one with a
little tiny sliver dolphin on.
Finally a little more tired, I laid back on the bed. I wondered just how
well my sister was doing. I really hoped she was doing just as well as
me and was all nice and safe too. I couldn't help but wonder if the
Social Worker would be along so. She had all the paperwork.

It felt weird as I lay there on the bed. In a skirt and top with boobs

I asked a nurse, "Can I see my friend please and see how.... she...is?"

felt jealous that it was nicer than mine. I looked at her again and

The nurse interrupted, "Now you two.... to the main wing office please.
You've gotta wait for your Social Worker. She's still busy trying to get
the judge to agree to the conditions she has planned for you." I
shivered and looked at the Nurse. She smiled warmly, "Oh don't worry
sweetie.... you'll both be fine but the documents have to be very
precise. Now get your shoes on."
I slid off the bed and pulled on a pair of short ankle boots and clipped
down the long corridor, my hips and ass swaying as I tried to keep my
balance on my low heels. The swinging of my boobs was also a bit
unsettling as I walked but slowly I got used to it.
We were shown to an office and told to sit. The chairs were nice but we
were made to sit on two hard wooden chairs. I sat and shivered as the
cold wood chilled my ass. I could smell my sister's perfume and she
smelled nice. Even her makeup looked good. I felt a bit jealous that she
had better perfume than mine but I hoped she liked my dark cherry nails.
I looked around the room but the big shiny desk was totally bare except
for a printer, phone and computer. We would just have to wait. I felt my
nervousness begin to grow.
