My mom went over to the front counter to get all the bags of "our" new
stuff. I turned to a mirror to get a glimpse. Well, check her out. She

know could see me like this! That thought didn't dawn on me till after we
left the store. Someone from school might see me in these clothes and
then I'm in deep trouble.
We started walking back towards JCPenny... in dead silence. I didn't know
what to say and I thought my mom did too, but then out of nowhere "Let's
go over there," my mom said pointing towards 'Gamer's Heaven', the video
game store.
"Why did she want to go there?" I thought to myself.
We walked over to the entrance. Never went in just stood outside near the
entrance of the place.
"Ok, Charlie," my mom started to speak. Here is comes. I bet she saw my
toes before she wondered off in the store. She's going to ask me!
"First I want to do this," Mom said as she grabbed me and gave me a huge
hug. "I'm so sorry you had all that coffee spilled on you, but helping me
get all this free stuff... you're just the best "daughter" a woman could
have," she said as she hugged me again.
"So I want to make a deal with you. I know..." Vanessa said.
"Mom, I can explain.... I was just, um..." I interrupted and started to say
when my mom held up her hand to interrupt me.
"Shhhhh," my mom said. "Let me tell you about my deal before you say
anything more."
"Okay...Your deal... hit me," I said.
"I got to say that with a little more help you would be a knock out. You
look so beautiful and the clothes you're wearing are perfect for you. I
mean sonny, you're even wearing 5" heels for me. That is like
unbelievable to me. No son would do something like that for their mother.
And you look so amazing," Mom said hugging me again.
"Um, thanks mom?" I said in a 'I guess kind of voice'.
"I will do anything you like. You want a new video game, it's yours. You
want to go to a Phillies game, I'll take you. You want me to buy you
loads of comic books, done," Vanessa said.
"Ok....but is that it? That can't be the deal," I added.
"I'll give or do whatever you want... if you have some more fun with me?"
she asked.
"Fun? What are you talking about? What do you mean by fun?" I asked.
"I have you and Neil. The two best sons any single mother could ask for.
I wouldn't trade you for the world. But sometimes when I'm watching a
movie or tv show or when I see a mother and daughter at work, I sometimes
wish I had a daughter of my own. Someone I could go shopping with.
Someone I can talk with about girly things. Someone I could spoil.
Someone that enjoys the same stuff as me," my mom said.
"But mom, I go shopping with you. I mean I'm here shopping with you now,"
I said.
"Yes, and I enjoy your company Charlie, but it's not the same when you go
shopping with the girls. We don't get to try on dresses together, or look
at makeups together. I don't get to pick out pretty things for you to
wear. We don't get to do the things girls do together. I love you
Charlie, but I often dreamed of having a daughter someday that I could
take to the salon to get our nails done together as we talk about why
boys they like in school. But since your Dad's passing, he and I never
got to try to have that daughter I dreamt of. And as I stand her looking
at you, I see what could have been and it makes my heart ache and smile
at the same time," my mom said starting to tear up a little bit as she
stared at me.
"Ah, mom, please don't cry," I said as I had to give her a hug this time.
"Before I say ok, what is it that you want me to do?" I asked wanting to
know what I was about to get myself into.
"I just want to have a little fun and enjoy the opportunity to have a
daughter for the day," she said.
"Well, then what did you have in mind?" I asked. I needed to know more,

While the other part of me was very curious and loving the idea of being
my mom's pretty daughter and making her happy. And I wouldn't need to

"Well, I thought we could do some girly things. Like shop a little more,
go and get our nails and hair done and then get dressed up and go out to
dinner," my mom said. "If it's alright with you, that is," she added. And
It was kind of weird to see my mom give me the puppy dog eyes.
"But mom, I can't get my nails done. I have school on Monday and what
about Neil. We have to pick him up sometime today," I said.
"Let me worry about all that. I just want to know if you will be my
daughter for the day," my mom asked hoping for the answer of yes.
"Mom... today.... I am your daughter," I said as I got another hug from my
mother this time much tighter.
My mom took my hand and we started walking towards JCPenny,
"First we are going to go home. I want to take this stuff and drop it off
and let you take a shower to wash all the coffee off yourself.
"Ok mom. Whatever you want," I said.
As we walked out the door towards our car, two young boys about 15 were
entering the store. Both of them had their eyes locked on us. Mom and I
kept walking as I heard one boy say to the other "See I told you the mall
is a great place to check out chicks. Look at those two."
"You're right!" the second boy said. "You can have the daughter, I'll

"Men," my mom said shaking her head as we got into her car.
We drove home, entered the house and mom told me to follow her upstairs.
We went into her room and dropped the bags.
"Charlie, Go in the bathroom take a shower with my soap. I have new

wrap the towel round yourself and yell for me. I'm going to go downstairs

"Ok mom," I said as I walked into the bathroom.
I was completely nervous and yet excited. I loved that I was going to be
able to go out with my mom and enjoy the perks of being womanhood, but I
knew I shouldn't be doing this. I felt excited and yet also weird and
wrong. After that date with Michael, I should be trying to get away from
all of this. I should be running from it. I'm thinking all this as I'm

I finished shaving and since I was in my mom's bathroom I was able to use
her nail polish remover on my toenails. I'm still not sure if she saw
that my toes were painted already, but if she didn't, I'm going to get
rid of the evidence while I can. After that I finished cleaning my body
and made my way back into the bedroom. I was about to yell down to my mom
when she walked into the bedroom.
"Alright Charlie. We are going to start with these," she said picking up
a pair of black panties from the bed. My mom told me they were called
Hiphuggers. They were all black and almost all lace. I slide them on. My
mom turned her back to me as I did and said "Be sure to hide yourself
away so no one sees anything."
Next she handed me a bra that looked like it was part of a set. All black
and lacey too. I slipped it on and my mom attached the hooks for me. "I
know you will be what we call 'flat chested', but we will fix that in a
bit. For now put these in your bra," she said handing me a pair of socks.

Charlie we will get dressed up more later for dinner, but for now I will
keep it simple for you. She handed me the same jeans I left Bebe with. I
slipped them on, and just like before a perfect...tight....fit. Then she
handed me a top. It was a black chiffon shirt. Long sleeves with button
cuffs, a collar and sheer black sleeves. It went down pass my butt. I
slipped it on and button it up.
"We will worry about you hair later. For now I'm just going to blow dry
it and comb it a little and you can wear this for now," my mom said as
she handed me an open-knit black fedora that had a pink hatband.
"Let me just keep your makeup simple since we will get that done right
later too," my mom said as she had me sit down at her vanity. First she
gave me a little bit of a light pink eye shadow. Then a little bit of
mascara on my lashes. And last she gave me some bright pink lipstick that
matched the pink on the fedora.
"You can wear these for now. I think they will look nice with the hat,"
Mom said giving me these huge hooped earrings that were also pink in
color.
"I put your id and cell phone in here for you," Mom said handing me a
small pink clutch purse.
"I think that's it and we are good to go. Just wear those same heels you
were wearing at the mall. You seem like you got a hang of them, but it
doesn't hurt to keep practicing walking in them," Mom said as she left
the room and headed down stairs.
I sat down on the bed and slipped the heels back onto my feet. I can
defiantly see why girls love buying shoes. They are so sexy and make your
legs look amazing. I can see myself wanting more. Weird right? Guys don't
usually have a love for high heels.
I got up and looked in the mirror. With all the excitement of getting
dressed with my mom's help, I never really got to see myself. I looked
and there was that girl again I saw at the mall. Only this time she had
some more of a chest and this time she has a hat on her head. But with
the makeup on this time, she looked more than cute. She was a hottie....and
that girl was me. Yeah?
As I walked down the stairs and got to the bottom I could hear the heels
on the floor as I walked. And it was like music to my ears. I just can't

"You ready to go Lady bug?" my mother asked.

"Well I can't call you 'sonny' or 'my boy' now, can I?" my mom said with
a laugh.
"Um, I guess you can't," I said laughing back.
"Let's Go!" my mom said as she got her keys out of her purse.
We got in her car and my mom started driving.
"Where to first mom... um mother?" I said thinking calling her mother was
something a daughter would say, right? Maybe I'm thinking too much.
"Well dear, we are going back to the mall, of course. We are going to do
a little shopping and we are going to get our hair and nails done
sweetie. It's going to be so much fun!" my mom said. "But first we have
to make one quick stop," Mom added.
We were a few blocks and pulled up to a red light.
"Our first stop is over there," my mom said pointing to my right towards
a shopping center.
As I was looking in the direction of the store, I noticed the car next to
us. It was awesome. It was a bright red Ferrari with a black stripe going
down the middle of it. It was so cool looking. Then I noticed the driver.
Kind of hard not to notice, since he was staring at me. Our eye meet, he
winked and gave me a head nod. Then like a second after doing so I saw a
woman's head slap him on the back of the head. I started laughing as the
light turned green and he speeded away. My mom asked "what's so fun?" I
just told her it was nothing as we pulled into the parking lot.
We got out of the car and made our way into Goddess Boutique. It was a
specialty store. As we walked in I saw wings, lingerie, stockings,
dresses and more. I followed my mom to the counter.
"Hi miss, I'm looking for some breast forms. My daughter here has a
slight problem in that area and I want to help her out," my mom said.
"Oh, no problem ma'am, we have many kinds over here," the sales woman
said as we followed her over to the section she was speaking of.
"What size would you like?" she asked.
"I think these here will do," my mom said taking a pair off the rack.
"If you want you can put them on now if you want. We have a changing room
in the back," The sales woman said as she pointed to the back of the
room.
"Oh, that would be great. Come with me Charlie," Mom said.
I followed my mom back into the dressing area.
"Remove your top Charlie," Mom requested.
She started to open the package. "These have glue that holds them onto
your skin but since this is just mother/daughter DAY, we won't go that
far. Just slip these into you bra and give me the socks," my mom said.
As I did as my mom asked I tried to see what size she picked. It looked
like it says C on the package. I slipped the new boobs in and they were a

"Perfect. Put your top back on and I'll go pay for these," my mom said.
I felt proud to have my own "real" boobs. It made me feel more

I walked up front and my mom was waiting for me. "Let's go girl, the mall
is calling our names!" my mom said with a huge grin on her face.
