We met at a friend's wedding and we hit it off instantly. Kabir was tall,
broad and good looking. He also had this impish charm which I found
incredibly attractive. We were both from Delhi but he was working in
Bangalore, India. We hooked up every time he was in Delhi and it was time
for me to visit him in Bangalore. I was in between things so had some time

I landed in Bangalore on a Friday evening and by the time I reached home,
it was too late to head out. I did not meet Arjun, Kabir's roommate, that
night and when I woke up next morning, Kabir was still asleep. I didn't
want to wake him and I went to the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee.
Shit! I was only wearing Kabir's tee, which was oversized for me and came
up to my knees. I was braless and quickly gave myself a second to think if
I was wearing any panties. While I was, I hoped his roommate wasn't awake
and didn't see me.
As I was about to go back to our bedroom, I noticed a girl sitting in the
drawing room. I could see her only from her back but she had below
shoulders hair and was sitting on the couch. Both these boys are studs,

myself. I walked over to introduced myself. She turned around and said

and change," I said, suddenly self-conscious at my braless state with no
bottom wear. "Aww. Don't worry. Be comfortable around here," Arjun said. I
smiled. His demeanor put me at ease. He was the exact opposite of being a
creep. We chatted for an hour till Kabir woke up.
"Neha, I am really sorry but I need to quickly rush to office. Something
has come up. I will join you for lunch," Kabir said, looking at his phone.
"Come on Kabir! I just came yesterday!" I said pouting. "I can make you
"come" today as well," that rascal said with a wink. I blushed beet red. I
looked at Arjun and he blushed the same color. I did not know what my body
was doing at that time but before I knew it, I was closing the bedroom
door behind me holding Kabir's hand, waiting for him to fulfill his
promise. We had half an hour before Kabir left and we could work something
out.
Once Kabir left, I got talking to Arjun. He was so easy to talk to and I
realized why Kabir had mentioned that I would get along well with his
house mate. The drawing room had a large brown couch and we sat at resting
on the armrests with a cup of cocoa. I am not quick to judge but I thought
Arjun had moderately effeminate mannerisms. The way he sat with his knees
together, how he used his hands and his facial mannerisms. With his
slightly high pitched voice and his petite frame, he could make a very
pretty girl. Even his facial features - those big eyes, high cheekbones,
plump lips and small chin, he was our version of Priyanka Chopra! Oh god!
That's it! He looked like Priyanka Chopra! I was suddenly jealous. "Neha!
What?" I heard Arjun ask suddenly. I realized that I had giggled aloud.
"Oh nothing. You reminded me of someone," I said looking at my phone.
"Who? Priyanka Chopra?" Arjun said with a straight face. I was a caught
off guard. Arjun laughed. "Don't worry. I have been told that before."
"I am sorry. I didn't mean to. You are really pretty! Oh I am so sorry. I
didn't mean pretty. I meant you have some resemblance to her. Like her
brother," my embarrassment made me say awkwardly. Arjun started laughing.
"Don't worry! Its fine. Thank you though," he said offering me a hug. I
hugged him back. I knew him for less than a day and I already was so
comfortable with him.
Over the next couple of days, I got to know Arjun better. He was from a
broken family, his father had walked out on his mother and him many years
back. His mother was a successful businesswoman. She was a CEO of a
software development company (when Arjun told me the name of the company,
I realized that he was an easy millionaire) and wanted Arjun to take over
the company someday. I realized that Arjun was a computer genius and a
math wiz - he would be a good asset in his mother's company. "Why aren't
you there?" I had asked curiously. "Well, we don't exactly see eye to eye
you know. I work for a software development company here and am getting
more experience. Maybe things would improve between us in future and then
I can leverage my experience and be of help to my mom's business," he said
without expression. I was dying to probe further but manners finally got
the better of me. Trying to change the topic, I said, "Arjun, you have
really nice hair. What hair products do you use?" He smiled, "Thanks! But
it's getting too long now and its so difficult to manage. Thankfully my
boss doesn't mind. I have been growing it for almost five years now. Let
me show you my hair products," he said getting up. "Noo! Please don't cut

me how to and then I can manage it hopefully," he said with a shrug.
"Done! Let me see what we can do," I said getting up and walking to my
room to get my bag.
That evening, we waited for Kabir to get home from work. He walked in
looking tired but seemed excited to go out clubbing. It was the end of the
week again and I was leaving the day after. He entered, hugged and kissed
me. "Kabir, I want you to meet someone," I said nervously. "Who?" Kabir
looked sharply around as he caught the edge in my voice. "Arjun, come out
now," I said loudly. Kabir gasped as Arjun walked out. He was wearing one
of my salwar kameez. It had a puffed short capped sleeve with fit and
flare fall and a deep back. The kameez was white satin with crimson and
gold work around the bodice. A bra strap was slightly visible. The
leggings were crimson nylon. The silver and white dupatta was over one of
his shoulders. His thick hair was parted elegantly in the middle and I had
pulled back the sides to gather it at the back with a longish brown jaw
clip. I had given him to wear my clip-on jhumkas for his ears and a pair
of silver bangles on each wrist. I had made up face up elaborately.
Primer, concealer and blush set my palette. His lips were done in a darker
hue of pink and he woke dark liner. As he stood with his hands held

apologize to Arjun," I said sternly. "Why??" Kabir looked surprised.

Arjun. I am sorry," Kabir said. Arjun blushed and said a thank you
silently. I smiled too - I had my man at my will. "And for today, it's
Anjali to us and not Arjun," I said looking around. Kabir nodded.
"Now go and change Kabir. We are all going out for Bollywood night at the
new club. Wear Indian wear. Anjali and I are ready. Don't make us girls
wait for too long," I said and knew I had a lot of explanations to give to
Kabir that night. For now, I squeezed Anjali's hand and told her its going
to be fine and we were going to have a lot of fun at the party. Anjali
tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear in the most feminine manner.
She looked like a gorgeous woman and I knew she was going to be okay.
