Michelle pulled Donald to the side and asked, "Are you surprised about
what just happened?"
Donald said, "No, not really that is Susan she didn't want to get in
the middle of Regina and me."
Michelle said, "OK then so I guess your deceased wife is no longer
with us."

"So now you and Regina are going to start planning your wedding."
Donald smiled and said, "Yes and who knows there may end up being a
little bit of Susan in Regina."

Michelle shuddered and said, "Please, don't remind me."
Donald gave Michelle a light kiss and said, "What would my life be

Donald went and got in his Tahoe and put on his seatbelt and started
it up.
Donald smiled at everything especially about Susan as he drove the 15
minutes to Regina's.
He pulled into the driveway and saw Regina's Camry and he couldn't
contain himself and he went inside.
Regina met him and said, "Don't you know Stephanie is here and you
might have caught her coming out of the bathroom after a bath?"
Donald said, "I am sorry but I had to tell you the news about the
whole situation about Susan."
Regina said, "We have to go to the living room so I can sit down.'
They went into the living room and they sat down on the couch.
He cleared his throat and he was holding Regina's hands and he said,
"Oh it was my deceased wife and she said, on that night she just all
of a sudden woke up in that body. She said she was confused and she
didn't intend to get in between us. She reminded me on our last night
together she wanted me to find someone and she said she thinks that
someone is you. She wiped my tears and lightly kissed me and just so
quickly that look of recognition is gone."
Regina asked, "So is she gone?"
Donald nodded and said, "Yes."
"How do you feel? I know you loved her."
"I still do and I am happy to see her one more time and thrilled that
she likes you. I am happy about everything."
Regina started welling up in tears and she hugged and kissed Donald.
Donald said, "Adele might have wanted to complicate things but she
never put Susan in the equation and never figured that Susan would not
want to complicate things between us."
"That means we are seeing that wedding planner next Tuesday."

Stephanie asked, "So what about Susan?"
Donald said, "Well, now she is just a woman who coincidentally has the
same name as my deceased wife but isn't. She now has to start those
baby steps that Regina, Michelle, and Amy were taught by Lillian.'
Regina smiled and said, "Well, you did learn something from me."
Donald smiled and said, "You are teaching me every day."
Regina kissed him and said, "Us women have to teach you, men,
something."
Donald laughed and kissed Regina and said, "Yes, you do and I can
always learn and I can't wait until Tuesday."
Donald left and Stephanie said, "That looks great but I can't picture
myself marrying a man."
Regina said, "Remember baby steps this took me several years to get to
this point."
"OK, I understand."
Regina said, "I can't believe these last couple of days but it
shouldn't surprise me at all what Adele would try to pull. Now, we
need to get to the store so we can get you prepared for womanhood."
Stephanie said, "Oh my god. I really don't want to show my face
getting feminine hygiene products."
"You have to get used to being a woman. Though you are a woman
physically emotionally and mentally you still feel like a man."
Stephanie said, "I know it is being silly but still I still see myself

Regina smiled and said, "Not silly remember baby steps and believe me
nobody will look at you strangely.
Oh, I will be right beside you all the way for moral support and I
might buy more myself."
Stephanie smiled and said, "Well then, let's go and I do feel better."
Regina smiled and said, "Good what is embarrassing is having to use
toilet paper."
Stephanie laughed and said, "OK good point."
They walked out and they got in Regina's Camry and Regina said, "We
can make this a girl's trip and oh I know this quaint boutique every
time I go I feel so much better."
Stephanie said, "Deal I want that."
So Regina went to the store and parked the Camry and they walked in
and Regina got her pads and then she helped Stephanie get hers.
As they were going to the cashier Regina said, "Oh my suggestion make
sure you have plenty of Midol on hand because those cramps can be a
real bitch."
Stephanie asked, "Should I get them now?"
Regina smiled and said, "Don't you worry girl I have plenty and if we
run out we can come back and get more. Unfortunately, for now, I have
limited cabinet and medicine space."
Stephanie said, "Oh I guess I noticed that."
Regina said, "I got that house at such a good price and it still needs
a little work."
"Oh, it is a nice house."
"I like it and I think we will probably put an addition on the house."
Stephanie asked, "So you and Donald will be living here?"
Regina said, "Yes, he says he wants to get a fresh start with us."

They got to the cash register and they gave it to the cashier.
Stephanie was nervous as they were scanning her pads until she saw
there were no comments from the cashier.
Regina's was scanned and Regina paid for both of the purchases and
they walked out to the car.
After they got in the car and they clicked on the seatbelts Regina
smiled and said, "See, all they see when they look at you is a pretty

Stephanie asked, "They don't know?"
"If she did most of the people here know about that motel and they
don't ask questions."

Regina smiled and said, "To be honest with you I was self--conscious
about it until after my third period."

town would be?"
Regina laughed and said, "Probably not too scandalized."
They pulled into the driveway and Regina said, "What a day it is
almost supper time."
They got out of the car after Regina shut it off and went inside.
Regina asked, "How about boiled egg sandwiches and some lemonade?"
Stephanie said, "That sounds delicious."
Regina put the eggs in some boiling water let them boil for about 10
minutes then took them out and started peeling them and after about 5
minutes of peeling and smashing them she put them between slices of
bread with mayo and poured some lemonade for them both.
Stephanie came in and said, "Just the right amount of food."
Regina laughed and said, "Yes exactly one of the benefits of being a
woman."
As they were eating Stephanie said, "Thank you for taking me to the
store and also that boutique I can't believe how good that facial felt
it felt heavenly."
Regina said, "Oh, if I am having a bad day I will make an appointment
and oh those massages will make you just melt."
Stephanie laughed and said, "I can only imagine."
They ate and cleaned up the kitchen and then Regina said, "I don't
know about you girl but I am getting sleepy and it is already 10:30."
Stephanie said, "Me too."
Regina went into her room and she got dressed for bed thinking about
the last couple of days with the new ladies in town especially Susan,
She thought about how insecure she felt at the thought of Susan coming
back and interfering with the relationship she had with Donald. Then
finding out after the meeting that Susan didn't want to interfere in
fact was confused coming back in a different body. Yes, that witch is
capable of anything but she can never account for human nature and how
independent people are.
She folded back the bedspread and sheets and slid into the bed and she
fell asleep 5 minutes after her head hit the pillow.
