The big day has arrived and Regina reassured Don that her passport is
up to date because Donald told her to get a passport 6 months ago.
Regina has been trying to get a hint of what Donald's plans were.
As Donald was getting the tuxedo he went to his jewelry box and
grabbed the plane tickets and also tickets for the cruise ship.
He took the tuxedo and he opened the back door and hung it on the rack
of the backseat. He went inside and grabbed about 4 suitcases. He
looked and shook his head he never travels with more than one bag.
They were going to be cruising the Mediterranian for a month.
He took those out to his Tahoe and went back inside and looked at his
notes to see if he was forgetting anything.
He looked around the house and was amazed at how empty the house was
now he spent the rest of the weekend packing things up and movers came
and put the furniture in storage and he stripped the bed and put the
sheets in the boxes and the movers will come back and take out the
last remaining things out of the house.
When he saw he had everything he needed he walked to his Tahoe and got
in and started it up.
He arrived at the church and he saw his best friend from high school,
Jesse and Jesse said, "OK, you want me to be your best man where is my
tux?"
Donald said, "Follow me."
Inside the church, Jesse followed Don to a preschool Sunday school
classroom and Don pointed out the tuxedos.
Jesse looked and said, "Looks like this one fits."
Don said, "They delivered the tuxedos here and I made sure 3 days ago.

Elbert had said that he wanted to see the wedding but he didn't think
he could give away Regina so Earl said he was more than happy to.

After they were all dressed they helped each other with their bow ties
and they looked in the mirror and straightened their hair.
Jesse Eric and Alan escorted Don to the front of the church and Earl
stood outside of the sanctuary to wait for Regina.
Regina came out with the bridesmaids and the flower girl and she was
dressed in a white wedding gown with a light white veil over her face.
The bridesmaid was Michelle, Stephanie, and Susan and Regina was
nervous but beaming then the organ started playing the wedding march
and Earl was there and Regina gave him her arm.
Earl said, "You know you look as beautiful as my wife did I believe in
1975."

She got to the front and stood opposite of Donald and Donald whispered

The pastor said, "Miss Edwards and Donald Addison are here to be
joined in this holy matrimony."
As the pastor was giving his sermon Regina looked at Donald she had
tears in her eyes which she wiped with a handkerchief she had in her
hand.
The pastor said,"Mr. Addison do you take Miss Edwards to be your
lawful wife to hold and to cherish through sickness and through health
through richer and poorer til death do you part?"
Donald said, "I do."
The pastor said, "Miss Edwards do take Mr. Addison to be your lawful
husband to hold and to cherish through sickness nad through health
through richer and through poorer til death do you part?"
She replied, "I do."
He said, "Then put these rings on as a symbol that your marriage will
have no end."
They put the rings on each other's fingers.
The pastor said, "Donald you may kiss the bride."
Donald lifted up the veil and Regina and Donald kissed each other.
They walked out arm and arm and as they walked outside people were
throwing popcorn and they ran to the Tahoe and they found cans tied to

Donald opened the door for Regina and she climbed in and he ran around
the driver's side.
After he started the Tahoe she asked, "OK, what is on your mind with
the passports?"
Donald smiled and said, "Our honeymoon is going to be a 1-month cruise
in the Mediterranian we will be leaving right after the reception."
Tears started streaming down her eyes and she said, "Oh, Donald that
is wonderful."
They drove to the convention hall and pulled in front and there were a
lot of vehicles and they walked in and rice was thrown inside and
Regina and Donald were sitting at the head of the table.
First, Elbert stood up on his walker and he cleared his throat and
said, "I remember that morning about 8 or 9 years ago when Lillian and
I received the call from Pastor Jacobs. He told us about how that
motel et woke back up and we now have 3 scared women at his parsonage.
We told him, of course, send them our way. Regina was the one that was
driving and they got to our house and we told them what happened and
we were more than happy to have them at our house as long as they had
to stay. Poor Michelle unfortunately couldn't accept her new life but
she did return and we were extremely happy about 2 or 3 years later.

By then she couldn't help herself she was crying tears of happiness

She stood up and said, "The only thing I can say is thank you and I
see the librarian that has helped us. When we told her that we stayed

Everybody looked stunned but she said, "I used to hunt deer when I was
a man and yes I missed hunting. My gift to you will be unwrapped in
privacy."

Lillian asked, "What kind of honeymoon are you having?"
Regina said, "We will be on a cruise through the Mediterranian for a
month."

I will hold down the fort at the office."
Regina asked, "How long did you know about this Michelle?"
Michelle said, "I have known about it for a couple of weeks and I

Alan said, "I have a surprise for you 2 now, Donald said he didn't
care for painting and I decided to go ahead and paint the porch as my
wedding present to you both. I believe you 2 should focus on getting
your lives started together. Is there enough paint?"
Don said, "I bought 4 gallons and I had sanded most of the porch I
think there is about maybe 4 feet that haven't been sanded."
Alan said, "Oh no problem I will sand what is left and that porch will
be painted by the time you guys get back."
Regina wiped more tears and said, "Thank you."
Then they went over to the wedding cake and they cut a slice of cake
and bent their arms around each other put the cakes in each other's

Regina stood with her back to the crowd and tossed the bouquet and
Stephanie caught it.
Then Don pulled the garter off of Regina's leg and he tossed it and
Eric caught it.
Don poured a glass of champagne for Regina and then for himself and
then Regina and he bet their arms around each other and then drank
their champagne.
Then they poured more glass of champagne and they toasted each other.
By the time the festivities were over it was almost midnight and the
people filed out and Don and Regina looked at each other and then
kissed.
Regina said, "Babe, I love you but you will have to wait to make love
to me."
Don said, "Shhh that is a relief I was afraid you would expect me to
perform after all of the festivities. There is plenty of time for that
during our honeymoon and honey I am planning on a lot of that between
us of course until after our first child is born."
She laughed and said, "If you would have told me before that night at
that motel that there would be a chance of me of conceiving a child I
would have laughed hysterically."
Don said, "Honey, let's go home and I am looking forward to falling
asleep in your arms."

They wrapped their arms around each other's waist and yes you will
find that they will make love to each other a lot during their
honeymoon.
He held the door open for Regina and then he closed the door and ran
around to the other side and got in and started the Tahoe.

He drove to what was once just Regina's house and it was now both of
their home.
He pulled into the driveway and she was dozing then woke up after he
parked the Tahoe by her car.
After she woke up she asked, "What about your house?"
He got out then walked over to her side and held open the door.
After she got out and he closed the door he said, "That house is 3/4s
empty and the movers will take the bed and the rest of the stuff to
storage. We can go through it after we get back and heck I am happy to
donate or sell it and we can always get more furniture for ourselves.
But let's not think about that now."
She wrapped her arm around his waist and laid her head on his shoulder
and wrapped his arm around her waist and they walked up the steps of
the porch and walked inside and Don locked the front door.
As they walked in Stephanie woke up and said, "So you are home."
Don smiled and said, "Sorry for waking you now we won't keep you
awake."
They went to the bedroom and Regina said, "What are we going to do
about Stephanie?"
Don said, "You know what we all can talk about it when we get back and
just because we are married doesn't mean we have to kick her out and
besides she got that job with the dealership am I right."
Regina said, "You are right she will want a place of her own. So
Stephanie doesn't have to go yet."
"I wasn't thinking so."
Regina dressed for bed and she got in her most comfortable night gown
and started brushing out her hair.
Don got undressed and carefully hung up his tux on a clothes hanger on
a chair.
He looked at Regina and Regina said, "What don't tell me you think I
am sexy in this old thing."
Don laughed and said, "Yes dear I think you are sexy and babe I am
looking at what you prefer for bed just to keep that in mind."
Regina said, "I am flattered."
Don said, "I love you, babe."
They pulled back the covers and Regina climbed into bed and Don turned
off the lights and got in bed and Regina laid her head on his chest
after they kissed each other goodnight and within about 15 minutes
they both fell asleep.
