After they all came up front the pastor started the service.
When it came time for the rings Jason walked up with the pillow and
presented it to Alan and Alan took it and then Jason being so happy
with himself went skipping down the aisle to his seat.
Everybody started laughing and the pastor said, "He is really happy
with his accomplishment."
Donald finished laughing and said, "Yes, he is."
Michelle put the ring on Alan's finger and Alan did the same with the
Michelle.
The pastor said, "Now Mr. Wright do you take Michelle to be your lawful
wife to hold and to cherish through sickness and in health richer and
poorer til death do you part?"
He said, "I do. "
The pastor said, "Now Miss Brighton do you take Alan to be your lawful

Michelle had tears in her eyes and said, "I do."
The pastor said, "Let no man put this union asunder. Now, Alan, you can
kiss the bride."
Alan lifted up Michelle's veil and he and she kissed passionately for 3
minutes and then they walked out to the fellowship hall.
The men went back and closed the door and as they were changing back
into their other clothes Alan looked kind of surprised.
He said, "Now, I am married to that incredible woman."
Donald said, "Yes, you are and don't worry I said the same thing."
After changing Michelle and Alan took each other's hands and they ran
out and everybody threw bird seed as they ran to the car.
After they left Regina and Jason came and Regina kissed him and Donald
picked up Jason and they walked to the Honda Accord.
After belting in Jason Jason asked, "Daddy was I good today?"
Donald tusseled Jason's hair and said, "Yes, son you were very good."
Donald closed the back door and then he opened the front door and
Regina climbed in and he closed the door.
After Donald got in Regina said, "Look at Jason."
Donald looked back and smiled after seeing Jason fell asleep.
Regina said, "Oh this was a big day for Jason."
"Yes it was ad I suggest we just stay for the reception for maybe 2
hours at the most."
They drove to the reception hall that was rented and pulled up and
after he stopped Jason woke up and yawned.
He asked, "Where are we?"
Regina said, "We are at what is called a reception this is where the
bride and groom come to celebrate their wedding with friends and
relatives. There will be a lot of good food."
Jason yelled, "Goody!"
Donald smiled and said, "You mention good food and he is all game."
Regina laughed and said, "You are right and don't you think I know

She winked and they went to the back seat and helped Jason out of his
car seat and Jason grabbed both of their hands and walked between them.
They walked inside and somebody asked, "Will he need a high chair?"
Regina said, "No, a booster seat will work."

They went to the table and the spot that was reserved for them and the

back."
They got up and then they first got Jason a small hamburger fries and
milk.
They went back and put Jason in his booster seat and pushed it in.
Donald said, "Why don't you go get your dinner and then I will get mine
after you come back."
Regina said, "Are you sure?"
Donald said, "He is easy when he has food in front of him"
Regina went up and while she was gone Earl looked at him and said, "I
remember giving away Regina and now you have a son. It sure is nice a
special lady of this town is bringing another generation to this town."
Donald sat back thinking about what Earl said and knowing exactly what
he meant and said, "Yes it is and I am still recording my family
history of this town."
Donald said, "Great, how much more?"
Earl said, "I think I should be done in about 2 weeks and then a
publisher is really interested in it. It should be put to print and
published within a couple of months."
As he finished Regina came and said, "Hi Earl."
She ran over and gave him a big hug and he said, "It is wonderful
seeing you and you now have a handsome little man there."
She said, "Oh thank you and he can be a handful sometimes but he was
really good."
Earl said, "The way he is eating he will be a strapping young man."
Regina laughed and said, "Oh he has always been a healthy eater."
Regina said." Hon, you better go or you might not be eating."
Donald got to the buffet tables and he came up behind Tom and Susan.
Susan looked back and hugged Donald and said, "You have such a cute
son."
Donald said, "Thank you and ya we love him. Looks like you 2 are
becoming a pretty serious item."
Susan said, "We are still taking it slowly but ya he is now my
boyfriend."
Donald said, "Mmmmmm boyfriend well just maybe we will see another
couple getting married."
Tom laughed and said, "We will see."
They got their food and sat down and Donald got his food and champagne
He sat down next to Jason and saw that Jason was just about finished.
He looked over at Regina and said, "I see he has almost devoured his
plate."
She laughed and said, "Not once did he stop eating."
He finished eating and Regina wiped his face and around his mouth and
Jason sat back satisfied and really loved how the adults were making a
big fuss over him.
As Donald was eating he chuckled and said, "I see Jason loves being the
center of attention."
Regina laughed and said, "Oh yes he does."
After everybody ate it was time to toast the bride and groom.
It was time for Regina and Donald to toast them.
Regina said, "Michelle I remember meeting for the first time in front
of that motel. The one thing I noticed was that it was like we have
been lifelong friends and when you disappeared I remember how worried I
was about you and then when I saw you again how happy I was to see you
again. Michelle, I got to watch you grow as a woman and you aren't just
a friend to me you are more like a sister and to see you marry the man
you love is better than I can describe. Michelle, I toast you and Alan
to a long and happy marriage."
Michelle teared up and she couldn't help herself she ran over and
hugged Regina.
After she walked back up Donald said, "I remember when you first come
to work with me and I remember working with you as you got certified.
Michelle not only are you an excellent realtor but a great friend and I
cherish your humor and the way you look at things. There is one
unfortunate thing when you go for your maternity leave that means I
will actually have to start working again I toast you and Alan to a
long and happy marriage."
She couldn't contain herself and she ran over teary-eyed and hugged
him.
He whispered in her ear, "You are such a wonderful friend and I am sure
you two will be married a long time." :

She went back to Alan and she said, "OK, I will have to hug everybody
after the toasting is done."
Everybody laughed and Regina said, "It is 8:00 and Jason is nodding off
to sleep."
Donald walked over with Regina and picked Jason up and laid his head on
his shoulder.
Regina turned to everybody and said, "Looks like our little man has had
all he can do it is now his bedtime. Michelle, Alan have fun at your
honeymoon maybe by the time you come back you might have conceived a
child and put my husband back to work."
Everybody laughed and Regina and Donald walked out to the Honda Accord.
Regina opened the back door and Donald put Jason in his car seat and
Jason moaned for a second and went right back to sleep and he got Jason
secured in his seat and then Donald closed the back door.
Donald opened the front door and Regina got in and Donald closed the
door and he got on his side of the car and got in.
Regina said, "Jason is such a good boy."
Donald said, "Yes he is. Maybe that motel wakes back up in time for his
teenage years."
Regina laughed and said, "Oh Don you are horrible but then again
maybe."
They drove to the house and pulled into the drive and parked the car.
He went to the passenger door and opened it and helped Regina out and
then opened the back door and got Jason out and then put him on his
shoulder and then Regina and Donald went inside the house.
Regina dressed Jason in his pajamas and put him to bed and Regina and
Donald kissed him good night.
Out in the living room, they sat on the couch and Regina asked, "What
advice did you give Alan?"
Donald said, "Don't be in a hurry to have sex on their wedding night
because we weren't."
Regina said, "That was good advice because I bet that reception won't
be done until late tonight."
Donald said, "Didn't look like it. You are so beautiful babe and I do
love you so very much."
Regina kissed him and said, "I love you and to see Michelle get married
she was so happy today."
Donald said, "Alan was so nervous as he was getting in his tux but as
he kissed her he was thrilled."
Regina said, "I just can't believe how things have been the last few
years and babe I am so happy that you asked me on our first date."
Donald laughed and said, "I wasn't sure what to do. But I am glad you
said yes for that date."
Donald and Regina reminisced and laughed and talked for another couple
of hours and then it was time to go to bed and Regina was going to find
out she was indeed pregnant and that they would have a beautiful baby
girl.
Regina looked at her watch and said, "Wow, look at the time it is 11:00
it is past time to go to bed."
They went into the bedroom and Regina got in her favorite nightgown and
started brushing out her hair.
Donald started to undress and Regina asked, "Does our love life bore
you? I mean we don't make love as often as we did in the beginning of
our marriage."
Donald said, "No, honey we are parents and being with you is still
better than the best dream I could ever have. I love sitting by you and
I love your kisses and I love it when you squeeze my hand in
reassurance and when you lay your head on my shoulder or chest. I
anticipated our sex lives would change but my intimacy with you I don't
think has ever changed."
Regina smiled and said, "You aren't just telling me to make me feel
good,"
He walked over to her and he had passionately kissed her and he said,
"My love for you has always been more than just infatuation."
Regina said, "I do love you and I love the family we are building and
doing it out of love."
They went into bed and after Donald laid down they kissed for about 15
minutes and then Regina laid her head on his chest and they both fell
asleep.
