"So the question I have for you Ms Cooper is...who the hell are you?" His question just hung there between us as I tried to think of an answer he would accept. He already knew Lacey Cooper didn't actually exist and it seemed he knew or at least strongly suspected James Cooper was the real author. I cursed my own stupidity. Obviously there were records here to show who was getting paid for the book sales! Why hadn't I considered that before going through with this? Why hadn't Davis? "That's kind of complicated," I said. "I don't think you would believe me." I looked up at the ceiling of Mr Blooms office for a moment, trying to gather my thoughts. I hated high pressure situations like this. It felt like my words mattered. What I told him mattered. "I am Lacey Cooper." I decided to try honesty. At best he would accept it, at worst he would think I was crazy. I still made his company a lot of money so it was unlikely he would have me committed! "Or at least I am now. This will sound hard to believe but magic is real and very possible. I used it to change myself from James to Lacey." I decided to leave Davis out of it. Bloom may not appreciate one of his star employees being dishonest about me and I'd never risk hurting my friends career. I looked back over at Mr Bloom as I waited for his reaction. Telling someone I'd willingly magically changed from male to female was a strange thing to admit. But then the way he was looking at me made me think otherwise. There was a look of fascination on his face. Curiosity perhaps. "Incredible," he said with a soft smile, "there isn't a male quality about you! I would never have guessed" I was more than a little stunned. "You believe me?" He let out a short laugh and stood up. "Yes. I used to know someone like you," he said as he started to walk over to his desk. "She was a good friend and we had some fun with her powers. Of course, you must be much more powerful given what you have managed to do to yourself." I felt awkward again. Although I'd told him some of the truth he now thought I was in some way a spell caster. "Well Mr Bloom that's not exactly true. I didn't actually use the magic myself." "I see. Someone did this to you?" he said "Who was it?" "I'd rather not say. It's not my secret to tell," I told him, hoping he would understand. He smiled. "You want to protect someone. I understand. That shows real loyalty and I admire that" I smiled, feeling a little more relaxed now. "Thank you, that means a lot to me." He nodded and leaned on his desk. "It does leave us with a problem though. You don't officially exist, at least in a legal sense. If someone starts to look into you, we will be in trouble." "Why would anyone look into me?" Bloom laughed and shook his head. "I know you've kept out of the spotlight but you know how popular your books are. Your sudden appearance is going to generate a tremendous amount of interest. Journalists will want to speak to you. And to be frank you are stunning! That alone will draw some attention to you!" I couldn't argue with that. Davis and I really hadn't thought this through. Although we hadn't planned on everyone at the office finding out. "I only agreed to do this to get over my writers block," I said sadly, looking at the carpet and seeing those long, perfect legs. "Writers block?" Bloom said suddenly standing up. "You have writers block?" "Yes," I replied, seeing he looked even more concerned about that than my lack of a real identity for this body. "What about your next book? Will it be delayed?" I could almost see the dollar signs fading away in his mind. "I'm hoping not. I mean you can see I'm going to some pretty extreme lengths to fix the problem!" I said, indicating my body with a sweep of my hand. He didn't say anything for a few minutes. He just looked lost in thought. When he finally spoke he said something I really didn't care to hear. "I've worked with lots of writers over the years and having that body isn't going to be enough. Writers, as I'm sure you know, need experience. They need to research. There is a side to writing that isn't sitting in front of a laptop Ms Cooper." "I know Mr Bloom," I replied, feeling a little like he was talking down to me. But I suppose he was the boss. "If you want to get your creative juices flowing then you need to experience the things your characters do. I mean have you any experience with the sort of things you write about?" I felt my face going red again. "No but I've managed to write eight successful books about it so I think I'm doing ok!" "You were doing ok. Now the well is dry!" he said, moving over to his desk. He fished into the drawer for a moment and pulled out a roll of black tape. "Ok stand up and put your wrists together behind you," he told me as he started to pull at the end. "What? No way!" I replied as I understood his plan! "Ms Cooper we have about thirty minutes before you need to be downstairs to meet your car. You are going to be interviewed on prime time TV about your work and you've never even felt what its like to be tied up? You will never pull that off! Plus my shareholders will crucify me if I don't do everything in my power to get you writing again and have that book out on time! Now do as you are told and stand up!" He spoke much more forcefully this time and I found myself getting to my feet. "Please Mr Bloom I really don't think this is necessary," I pleaded as he placed one hand on my shoulder and quickly turned me to face the wall. I heard the tape pull and he quickly moved my arms behind me. With my wrists crossed over he wrapped them both in the black tape tightly! "I'll be the judge of what is necessary Ms Cooper," he said. "This is my business and I won't have you endanger its reputation or profit margin!" He pulled the tape a few more times around and then ripped it. I could feel the sticky black tape pulling at my wrists, pinching my skin. I tried to move, a little experiment to test the tightness but I found I couldn't move my wrists apart at all. I shivered as a nervous energy flooded my body. For the first time I had an idea of what my character Lucy would have felt if she were real. I was an attractive woman, alone with a physically larger and stronger male, and my hands were quite securely bound behind my back. I shifted uneasily and glanced at the door. I couldn't open it even if I ran over there. I didn't really think Mr Bloom would actually try anything while I was helpless but the thought kept making unwelcome appearances in my mind. Glancing down proved something I'd always written about to be true. With my arms behind me it felt like my chest was pushing out. My breasts were already quite large and now felt like they were straining against the bra and that thin flowery top I'd worn. "How does that feel?" Bloom asked as he turned me to face him. His eyes immediately flicked down to my cleavage and lingered there for quite a while. "Not great," I said. "Could you take it off now?" He shook his head. "No. I think you really need to understand how this makes you feel and as I said we have 30 minutes together." I really couldn't tell if he was enjoying this or not. Did he have some unknown dominant streak or was he really just sincerely trying to help me? "Count yourself lucky," he told me. "Nathan got writers block a few years ago and I sent him to stay in an abandoned hospital for a week. That soon got his horror mojo flowing!" He stooped down before me and I leant forward a little to see what he was doing. He was starting to use the tape to wrap up my ankles, pulling them together tightly. His head was dangerously close to the bottom of my short black skirt and I could feel his breath on my legs as he worked. Over and over the tape went around my ankles and I wobbled for a moment. "Careful!" I said as I managed to regain my balance. Bloom stood back up and stepped back. "That should just about do it. Although if you were really kidnapped I don't think I'd just leave you in my office," he said in a very thoughtful tone as he looked around. He walked over to another door in the far corner and unlocked and opened it. From where I was I could just about see a dark closet. "Perfect!" he said. He walked back over to me and placed his hands on my shoulders, giving my breasts another quick look! "Now I don't suppose you can shuffle that far," Bloom told me without asking how I felt about it. I gasped as he bent down, his shoulder pressing against my waist and his arm around my thighs! "Wait!" I squeaked as he stood back up, taking me with him! I found myself gasping for breath as his shoulder dug into my stomach and he easily hoisted me off the floor! I dangled helplessly from his shoulder and felt his free hand slide onto my bottom! "Mr Bloom!" I yelped as he started to walk towards the now open door! I found myself staring at his back, my long red hair hanging down and obscuring the rest of my vision. "I think this will really help. I tried a sensory deprivation tank once. Have you ever done that?" He didn't pause for an answer, not that I really wanted to do a question and answer session right now. "It was marvellous. Alone in the darkness I could really think clearly and focus." He carried me into the little room which seem to hold a couple of jackets on hooks and a golf bag and clubs. I was deposited on the floor and he stood up. "There. I'll just leave you here until the car arrives and you can really get a sense of what its like to be kidnapped," Mr Bloom told me as he then quickly closed the door! I heard a key click as he locked it. "Wait!" I called. "You can't just leave me here!" I listened, trying to hear if he was still there. The next sound I heard was another door opening and closing. That could only have been the outer office door. He'd really had just left! I started to struggle. Pulling and testing the tape to see if I could get free. Unfortunately, it seemed like Bloom had used a lot on my wrists and it barely had any give in it. This was insane. Although I really did feel like I was living a Lucy Chambers story. She was after all a woman how got tied up in all sorts of situations. The only light into the little room was through the keyhole and under the door. It wasn't enough to make anything out as I leant against the wall, waiting for this to end. I had no control here. Bloom would simply leave me here and I was totally dependent on him to let me out. That was a worrying thought. He was probably in his mid to late sixties. What if he had a heart attack? Or fell down the stairs? I could be here for hours! Days! Panic started to rise, and I forced myself to stay calm. That wouldn't happen. Davis would come looking for me if I were gone longer than an hour. Plus, Bloom seemed fit for his age. There was no reason to think that his heart wasn't in good working order. So, I just sat there in the dark. My limbs restrained. Helpless. That nagging worry that I wouldn't be set free always there in the back of my mind. I soon found I lost track of time. That was something I hadn't really considered in my writing. I usually got very caught up in the physical and mental aspects of being tied up but I very rarely thought about the outside factors that could influence how my characters felt. The passage of time when you are immobile and can't see a clock felt like a big thing. When the door was finally unlocked, and Mr Bloom was smiling down at me I really didn't think half an hour had gone by. It felt so much longer. "Ok Ms Cooper I hope that was helpful," he said, almost cheerfully as he bent down and lifted me out of the cupboard! This time he just sat me on the edge of his desk and took a small knife to the tape around my ankles. Once that was removed, he did the same to my wrists. "You know I should be pissed but I did actually learn something that could help with the new book," I admitted. I wanted to tell him off, but it didn't feel like a wise thing to do to my friends boss and the only other person who knew the truth about me. "Good! Perhaps we can do something similar again someday," Bloom offered. "But for now your car is here so you need to hurry. I can't wait to see you on TV!." He held my hand as I hopped off his desk and hurried to the door. I actually turned and thanked him as I walked out. I had no idea why! As I moved, I felt an ache in my bottom and noticed how stiff my legs felt. There was also a slight dull throb in my shoulders. It started to fade quickly as I walked but I'd written Lucy as being tied up for hours and never gone into much detail about any physical pain that followed. I made a mental note to think about that more later. I made my way back and went to see if I could find Davis before I left. He was sat behind his desk in his office where I usually found him when I was here. "Where have you been? Have you been with Bloom the whole time?" he asked, seemingly a little worried. "I'll tell you later. I don't think we have time to get into it now," I replied. "Apparently I have to go and be on TV" He smiled. I always felt better when he did. He was like the ultimate positive person and I was often the opposite. I needed a friend like him to pick me up from time to time. "Good luck," Davis said. "Call me tonight when you are home" The car they had sent was ridiculous. The studio was mere blocks from the office, but they had sent a limo! The driver was a large, well-built Latino man who wore a black suit and one of those limo drivers hats. "Miss," he said as he held open the door. To his credit I didn't spot even a glance at my body! Although as I got into the car, I was sure he had a perfect view of my rear! "Ms Cooper it's so wonderful to meet you," a voice said as I sat down. At the far end of the limo, at least six feet from me sat a young man. He couldn't have been more than twenty. His smile was broad and seemed genuine. He looked thin and was probably quite tall as far as I could tell with him sat down. He wore a black t-shirt and jeans. His sneakers the only thing that added colour to his outfit as they were bright green. The only other thing of note was the clipboard he held with the show logo on the back. "I'm Steven," he said. "Your assistant while you are with us at the Late, Late, Tonight Show. Anything you need I will provide to you Ms Cooper" I didn't know much about the entertainment business, but I guessed Steven was what was known as a Runner. Basically someone to provide celebrities and rich people with things despite them being perfectly capable of doing it themselves. For some people having money meant never having to open their own drink. "Thanks Steven. Please call me Lacey and I don't think I'll be needing much," I said as I sat back and tried to hide my delight at just how comfortable the limo seats were. The leather was so soft I felt like I was sitting on a cloud! A welcome change from the hard floor I'd spent the last 30 minutes sat on. Steven smiled, seemingly happy at what I just said. "Thank you Lacey, please don't hesitate to ask though. It is my job after all." The car pulled away and immediately got stuck in traffic. I strongly suspected I could walk their quicker. "There are a few things about the show I need to cover," he said. "Now have you seen our show before?" "Sure," I replied. That wasn't quite true. I'd watched a few clips online when someone I liked was on. "Good. Now you may know that Mr Parker likes to keep it light and fun. It will be you and another guest and you are both out for the whole show. Its quite freeform so feel free to chip in with stories or whatever you like. As long as its light and fun" I sat back and just listened to Steven throw information at me. His speech sounded rehearsed and he looked at his clipboard so much at I had to think he had it written down. As we sat in traffic I managed to gain quite a bit of information. Although the show went out late I couldn't talk about anything too adult. Steven did at least acknowledge that would be tricky given the nature of my books. Certain words were banned. Cursing obviously. I also couldn't directly talk about sex and apparently the network was uncomfortable with the word 'bondage'. If I said it then it would likely be edited out and may stop me appearing on the show in future. There would be at least one 'fun' game that the host would tell me about at the time. They didn't like to tell quests anything about it and ruin the surprise. I didn't really care about that, but I didn't want to cause any trouble. "Don't worry Steve, I'll be good," I promised. "It's Steven," he said curtly as he carried on. The first thing that really interested me was the other guest on the show. It was award winning actor Mark Langham. I was a fan. His career went from action movie to serious role and he always seemed to nail each one. He'd been making movies for the last decade and had recently made a superhero movie which as a card-carrying nerd, I was a fan of. The unusual thing was this was his first villain role which was a big talking point apparently. Once he was done with the formalities Steven just talked at me. For some reason he felt like he needed to tell me everything about his life. I didn't really mind. It meant I could just sit back and relax. He lived with his boyfriend of 3 years in a small apartment. They couldn't have a dog there, so they really wanted to move. He admitted he hadn't read my books but his mother was a fan and she was jealous that he was meeting me. What was it with older women and my books? I didn't really engage with the fans. That was something that just added to the mystery around Lacey Cooper so Davis never pressured me to answer fan mail or respond in any other way. I vaguely remembered him telling me the demographic for my books was females aged 25 to 55 but that seemed so broad I didn't really register it. Plus that information changed nothing for me. I just wrote what I liked and didn't like to let outside influences creep in. When we eventually arrived at the studio thirty minutes had passed. In that time I'd found a the limo contained a drinks cabinet and I'd opened a bottle of beer. If Steven was shocked to see me swig from a bottle he didn't show it. Although I'd only had one I felt the effects much quicker than I once had. I usually drank two or three bottles in the evening if I was home and didn't feel a thing. Now I could feel a slight buzz and decided I better not have a second. My smaller body clearly couldn't handle alcohol. "Word is starting to get out that you are making your first appearance. You are trending on social media too!" Steven said as the limo pulled around the back of the studio. The front was on a city street and I could see a crowd was gathering there. I even saw a couple of signs with my name on them surrounded by hearts! Around the back however it was calm and I was able to get into the studio without being bothered. Steven ushered me down a corridor to a makeup chair where I was promptly deposited! Two women appeared and looked at me. "Well what are we meant to do with her?" one asked, a little confused "Her hair is perfect and her skin is so lovely I don't think we need to do anything!" "Honey is that what you are wearing?" the other lady asked me as she pointed at my clothing. "Erm...yeah?" "Erm NO!" she said as she shook her head. "I'll see what we have in wardrobe" They both scurried away, and I was left alone. I let out a huge sigh. "What am I doing here?" I said out loud. "Well usually it's about promoting something or selling yourself but I think most people know who you are," a male voice I knew instantly said. I turned to look over the back of my chair and saw none other than Mark Langham sitting in a similar chair in the corner. "Apparently my skin isn't as perfect as yours. They've spent the last twenty minutes throwing stuff on my face." He grinned. A movie star smile. Bright blue eyes. Perfect close-cropped blonde hair. I felt a little flutter in my stomach which I hoped was just nerves at meeting a real movie star. "I'm sure your face is perfect," I said before blushing and closing my eyes. "I didn't mean to erm.... I mean I didn't to say that...." "So you don't think my face is perfect?" he said with a grin. "It's probably not for me to say," I replied as I pulled myself together. He's just a man. Ignore the fact he is a massive movie star and stop sounding like a love struck teen! "I have to say I was surprised when I heard who the other guest was tonight. I didn't think you ever made appearances. I also assumed you must be some older, frumpy housewife type. Glad to see I was wrong on both counts" Was Mark Langham hitting on me? That was crazy. He dated some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood and here he was flirting with me. Or was he? Saying I wasn't a frumpy housewife didn't really mean he was attracted to me. I turned and sat back in my chair, looking at myself in the mirror. Why was I even thinking about this? It wasn't like I was interested in him! I was a straight man and just a fan. The woman looking back at me didn't look like a straight man of course. This was getting very confusing. "Look forward to seeing you out there and try not to steal all my spotlight," he said as he stood and left the room. As he walked out, I could see he was wearing smart pants and a tight sweater that hugged his muscular frame. Was I attracted to him? I let my eyes trace over his body as he went by. He was fit. Those pants hugged his butt nicely. Urgh! Stop it! Thankfully the two women returned and closed the door behind them, locking it. One of them carried something in a zipped up back, like those used to hold suits but it looked longer. "Did you speak to Mark?" the first lady said, "What I wouldn't give to spend some time with that man!" "Yeah we spoke a little," I replied. "He seemed nice." "Nice?" the woman with the bag said "I normally like my men a little darker but I'd make an exception for that one!" I always suspected women talked like that too. Although guys tended to be a little cruder. She hung the bag on the back of the door and unzipped it. Inside I could see what I could only call a little black dress. "Come on then," she said. "Strip for me so we can get you ready." "Strip?" "We can't put this on over your clothes!" she said as she took my hand and led me out of the seat. Then she reached over and started to pull my top up! I was too shocked to do anything and I was soon standing there with my bra on show! The other unhooked the back of my skirt and let it fall to the floor around my ankles. "You can keep the shoes on but lets get the bra off. In this dress you wont need one." The idea of getting my boobs out, boobs I'd only just acquired, didn't sit well with me. At least there were only us girls here! I unhooked my bra and let the bra fall away. I found I was holding my breath. I suddenly worried they would somehow realise the truth. Like somehow only my clothing was projecting the image of a woman to the outside world. "Oh your breasts won't need any extra support." I was told as she removed the dress from the hanger. I was told to step into it and they fought to get it up my legs and for the hem to settle on my hips. It felt really tight while also being very revealing. "Just keep your legs together when you are sat on the couch," she said as if reading my mind. I slipped my arms into the dress too and they pulled it up. Two thin straps sat at my shoulders and they zipped up the back. I gasped as it pulled in against my breasts, pushing them up and together more than my bra had! "There! You look incredible!" she said. I turned to look into the mirror. Looking back at me was a truly stunning vision. The way my red hair framed my face and reached down to almost touch the top of my cleavage. My waist looked tiny and I placed a hand on my stomach. The dress was clearly expensive and high quality. I'd guess it was easily the most expensive thing I'd ever worn but I did usually just wear jeans and t-shirts that I bought online. My legs also looked incredible. I turned a little and saw that the dress hugged my butt and only extended an inch or so below it. It was so short I'd really have to be careful out there. "2 minutes to taping!" a voice called. "Mr Langham and Ms Cooper to positions." I guess it was time for the world to meet Lacey Cooper. To be continued.....

An Extreme Cure For Writers Block Part 7

As Gavin gave the order to get me to the van I watched Carl open up the metal toolbox he had carried. Inside he pulled out a large black cloth sheet which he proceeded to spread out on the floor. Mike then moved over to me and standing behind me, he placed his hands under my bound arms. I was lifted easily and deposited on the sheet, face down. As he lifted me I moaned as I felt the ropes around my elbows strain against my body. I knew what they were going to do. It was broad...

An Extreme Cure For Writers Block Part 8

It was at least a few more hours before I heard anything else of importance. There was the occasional large vehicle driving somewhere nearby. Once I thought I heard a train, but it was so distant it was hard to tell. Laying bound in the back of the van started to feel lonely, more than dangerous. When I wrote my novels, I tended to skip over the time my character Lucy would spend alone and helpless. It never seemed that important for pushing the story forward. In truth it probably wasn't...

The CureChapter 48

You aren’t going to be in any trouble over this, Cass, are you?” I asked. “Possibly, though it will be low key and irritating rather than open and provable,” she shrugged. “Won’t affect the medical centre, will it?” “No, though they can constrain my time there by getting me involved in various meetings to discuss the work of Imperial Health Bureaucracy.” “You can always resign.” “They own the medical centre, not me.” “Do they? I always thought that it was owned by Municipal...

The CureChapter 26

Ashlann was in her office, a place I’d never been invited to before. Also in the room were a tall, dark, oddly-dressed couple of women and by dark I mean jet black skin and by oddly-dressed, completely covered, other than their faces. “Cure David, Monitor Vilgra, welcome. Please be seated,” Ashlann began. “Supervisor Monitor,” we both politely intoned before seating ourselves facing the couple. “This is Ambassador Efiloqu and her assistant Iriantala of the Melanoqui Autarchy,” she...

The CureChapter 14

Life settled for a few months after our adventures on Actilonia; if you count running away very fast from a virus ridden lunatic an adventure, along with non-stop sex to try and cure people (and keep Kirim happy as well). Things on Vreekoos were quiet. The work was steady and Kirim announced she was pregnant with our first, to my utter delight and that of our friends. The new Cure Guild was up and running, with Herrick taking it upon himself to crush any opposition to his reforms and make...

The Bisexualizing Effect of Erotica Its Implicatioins for Writers

The Bisexualizing Effect of Erotica and It's Implications for Writers By Cal Y. Pygia Our enjoyment of erotic or pornographic images may start with the simple desire to see naked people. However, before long, poses of even the most beautiful woman or the handsomest men becomes relatively boring. Where singles may be sufficient, as it were, to whet our appetites, we soon want to see couples, whether heterosexual, homosexual, or transsexual, coupling. In a similar vein, regardless...

The CureChapter 12

The following morning we all assembled and summoned a lift to take us to a designated medical centre on the lower level equivalent on Carnum. Both Kirim and Leommir were in full armour and I had a feeling Vilgra was armed as well. It was fairly obvious that we were being observed as we left the lift, some of it official, some of it just the residents scenting fresh prey and wondering if we were worth their time or were simply too dangerous. The oddity for the ladies, other than Cass, was the...

Shuttles poured out of the Softwing, heading towards the various wrecks where emergency beacons were sounding, whilst a steady stream of shuttles came from the surviving warships, carrying their more seriously wounded to the experts on the medical carrier. The CureChapter 8

I awoke early the following morning (sort of, days here were the equivalent of fifty Earth hours long and so there were two working, two resting and two sleeping periods in each day). I was careful not to disturb Kirim who was still in a deep sleep and had a cat that got the cream smile still on her lips. I did leave her a message though, complete with a blown kiss, before I set off for work. As ever, Hiqua and Cassire were there before me and there was even a small queue to get treatment,...

The CureChapter 50

It was eerie walking into the residency of the senior Zealot with every male looking exactly the same. Finally though I was ushered into what I can only describe as a study complete with what I believed were genuine books on bookshelves, something I’d not seen since awakening as a Cure other than in Amantil’s very private dining area. For all the Empire did use something they called pseudo paper for official documents and contracts, they didn’t use books as such and the pseudo paper dissolved...

The Cure Ch 02

Gabriel couldn’t manage to get use to the stale smell of the catacomb of mazes he’d discovered in the abandon silver mines. He wasn’t sure what had led him to the place where he kept his sister Madelyn captive, but all the still it had served its purpose well. He’d known weeks earlier that his young, beautiful, vibrant sister hadn’t been acting herself. It wasn’t until he cut himself making dinner that he discovered reality behind all the childhood stories he’d been told. At the sight of his...

The CureChapter 60

“There will be no change in the tax rate for the ordinary citizens of the Hegemony,” Nild stated flatly to the Command Group. “Not if we hope to hold the Starlit Hegemony together after my brother’s lunacy.” “O Most Radiant of the Heavens...” Kli began. “Kli old friend,” Nild interrupted, “when it’s just this group, call me Nild. I insist. Same goes for the rest of you. In an official capacity keep to protocol, naturally, but please, for the moment drop it, this is far too important.” “Yes...

The Writers Workshop Part 2

When she and her sister Trisha got back from visiting her folks, she called me that Monday night. “Hi Hank. Are we still on for Wednesday?” “Without a doubt,” I replied. “How are your parents?” “Great. It was a really nice visit. How was your weekend?” “Very relaxing. I spent my time writing and editing, and seeing what I should read to you.” “I thought you were going to read what you are currently working on.” “I thought about it and the more I thought, the more I came to the conclusion that I...

SRU The Cure

SRU: The Cure? By Neo I exploded. A seemingly never-ending wave of cum burst forth from my body. Incredibly powerful spasms prolonged my orgasm for a near eternity. It was all I could do not to lose consciousness. My eyes reopened and I slowly became reacquainted with reality. As my breathing returned to normal, I took stock of the damage. Except for the smell of semen hanging in the air, it looked like I had contained the contents of my orgasm fairly well in the towel I kept for...

The CureChapter 5

By day eight I was going stir crazy. If it hadn’t been for the dates I went on with Kirim it would have been a lot worse though. Yes, we dated. We held hands and at the end we kissed, though nothing more. It was a lot of fun, but also a bit frustrating. I realised I was falling for her, despite the fact that she had some misgivings about my job and the necessity of having to copulate with those I had to cure. In this I tried to be scrupulously honest with her, I wasn’t so stupid as to believe...

The CureChapter 15

“Cure David, I have some audience questions for you, if you’d care to answer them?” Teelae began after the break. “So long as you realise I won’t answer questions about specific patients, yes, certainly,” I replied. “Agreed. First question. You received a medal for your exploits on Actilonia, but, would you say you were a hero?” “Most definitely not. I spent a great deal of time in the endgame running away from an enraged armed psychotic,” I chuckled. “Hardly the stuff of heroes.” “That...

A Cure for Alzheimers

A Cure for Alzheimer's Synopsis - A teen's plan to escape from the poverty of his coal mining town succeeds - but when he and his close friend join with a number of other boys and participate in a medical trial, the results are hardly what they anticipated. Introduction - I guess that I was around ten years old, or so, before I realized how different the life that we lived in our small West Virginia coal mining community was from the way folks lived in the rest of the country - or...

The CureChapter 17

“You must get some sleep, my love,” Herrick cajoled Amantil as she gazed at a screen in her (very) private dwelling, the one in Vreekoos City itself, not her palace on the small continent of Lassos. “I know,” she sighed. “But decisions need to be made as to where resources should be sent. Cillort’s reinforced forces are attacking piecemeal and we can’t be everywhere at once.” “You can’t defend everything. It makes no sense,” he replied thoughtfully. “I know but after Coriona, morale is...

Olivia was a writer. It’s not just what she did, it was what, in her mind, defined her. Short stories, poems, and novellas spanning all manner of genres. She’d taken great delight sharing them with her small circle of friends, sometimes even shyly reading them out loud, quietly pleased at the praise they’d heaped on her, each time pushing herself to improve. Jack had been especially supportive, always sending her motivational emails or glowing reviews, finding bright moments in even the failed...

The CureChapter 10

Vilgra sat in front of a screen that was acting as a mirror for her as she brushed her hair after a sonic shower. She was the most junior of the monitors in the ImpSec branch of Medical Resource and naively unaware of the point scoring and jockeying for position in that department. Only rumours of the interaction they’d had with other Cures had come to her attention and that often enough was confusing. The order to be the point of contact with Cure David had come directly from her Head of...

The CureChapter 52

The delegates from the former Republic of Zelnot were allowed to communicate with various agencies and organisations within the territory and let them know the Empire’s conditions. The one that Amantil was keeping a close eye upon was the reaction of the Zelnot fleet who had the potential to cause major problems if they decided to mutiny against the Imperial regime. “I have spoken to Fleet Commander Collo of the Zelnot Fleet,” Abno informed her. “He has agreed to stand down and bring the...

Interview With the BimboChapter 11 The Search for a Cure

"I Take it he never found a cure." Asked Annabelle. "It wasn't as simple as just finding a cure." Replied Lulu, "In places like Chrystal Heights, if the wrong person wants something to be permanent then there wasn't much you could do about." "And you had been changed permanently?" "We didn't know. Michael's team at Venus Industries performed every type of test imaginable, both medical and sexual. The CureChapter 7

I followed Myrialis as she led the way out of the market square. Her protection detail closed in around us. Rather than use a lift, she led me up some stairs to a roof garage and opened up an aircar large enough to fit us all. Though I did turn a warning eye to one of the detail who had his weapon out and not quite pointing at me. “You either put that away or I’m going to stick it where the sun doesn’t shine,” I warned him. “I don’t take orders from you,” he sneered, only to have me reach...

The CureChapter 11

The spaceport was different; for one thing there were no large spaceships, just a series of circular shuttles, a bit like old school flying saucers, to take people into orbit where the really large ships floated in stately majesty. It wasn’t even really like an airport. There were no customs or check ins for one, as the AIs handled all that and wouldn’t let you board if you weren’t authorised and would painfully eject you if necessary. Still, I was part of a relatively happy group who...

The CureChapter 28

We thoroughly enjoyed the shipboard facilities on the journey. I also checked in with the ship’s Healer as requested by Cassire, though he reported no one on board required the services of a Cure. Still it was pleasant to finally be reaching Arconia to view one of the great artefacts of known civilisation, the Spire. The Spire is a space elevator, in that one end is attached to the surface of the planet Arconia on the equator, the other end is attached to a huge space station in orbit. Up...

The CureChapter 33

Two Imperial years (5.6 Earth years) passed with no further incidents to disturb the (relative) tranquillity of the Empire. Kirim and I lived quietly, well, as quietly as we could with a growing child, and watched as Kiria sprouted up and went through kindergarten then started school itself. We had, after a long discussion, opted for an upper level school recommended by our friend Taisha where Kiria was receiving neural learning and was merely being taught how to put it in context rather than...

Andersonville 20 The Cure

"Good morning, Crius," Dennis Butz said. "And to you - 'brother'," Crius replied with just a hint of sarcasm. The Titan God was seated on the back porch of his new residence having breakfast. He was dressed in his traditional long, white robe with an oversized hood that was common before the war with the Olympians. Nearby sat Lucus, who eyed the director carefully. Dennis gave him a frown and sat down. "Where's the suit I got you?" Dennis inquired. Crius grunted as he...

The CureChapter 24

“What kind of future are you creating for our daughter, my Dave?” Kirim asked me as we cuddled in after making love. It was the beginning of the daylight sleeping part of the diurnal cycle. “I’m not sure what you mean, Kirim,” I replied. “You have the ear of the Empress, that makes you influential ... and also, a target. So I ask again, what kind of future are you creating?” “One where she can grow to her fullest potential, live happily and find love,” I replied with a slight smile. “But...

AUTHOR'S NOTES This is a re-write of one of my first efforts. Back then I thought it marvelous to knit improbabilities into spectrums of predilection. But of course it hardly worked, except maybe for readers with checklists. In my re-write, the stretch is a tad more bounded and takes just half the words. And my oh my! That earlier version reads as if I combed through 300 supposedly-erotic stories for sticky-wet adjectives to string together. I apologize to any of you who tried to read it....

The CureChapter 9

“You are summoned to the Upper Level ImpSec Medical Resource, David,” the AI announced as I was busy getting out of bed minus Kirim who was on early shift that day. “Be there in sixty turns (thirty minutes roughly),” I yawned. “I will inform them, David.” One sonic shower later, dressed and feeling happier having supped a glass of tuch and eaten something that looked like fruit, I turned up at my place of work in the Upper Levels. “Ah, subject 1341, you’re here,” came a patronising voice...

The CureChapter 51

“Cure David, could you follow me please? You have a call,” Herald Forimisto requested. He led me through to a private office, indicated a tri-dee cube, and then left me to my privacy. The cube then flickered into life and I found myself facing Kirim. “My love,” I greeted her. “As you can see, reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.” “My love,” she sobbed out. “I was heartbroken when Amantil told me; Kiria and Dayyev were in tears.” “I’m so sorry, my love. I will make them pay...

From orbit Gamappe was incredibly green and lush looking, dotted about with an incredible patchwork of lapis lazuli coloured small seas or lakes. “Lovely,” I murmured to Cass as we stood waiting for the shuttle to take us down. “Yes, a natural world, not terraformed as many of our worlds are,” she nodded. “We’re still being followed,” I added as an aside. “Yes, annoying. Not a lot we can do at the moment though.” “Will your wand work here?” I asked out of curiosity. “No, but I don’t...

The CureChapter 13

Apparently that little speech of mine made history, though at the time I was just trying to piss off the powers that be on Actilonia. But, apparently, it was news to everyone on Actilonia that the Empress actually cared about her people and had sent a Cure here to have a look at what was happening, which was, apparently, a very heavy handed crushing of their liberties and lives by a greedy set of corporates, bureaucrats and Nobles. As the people thought that the Empress didn’t care, this had...

The CureChapter 19

Cillort was not a happy man. Yes, his breakaway had worked, but, the Empire was not in chaos. Despite all his efforts it was now moving to the offensive with the clear expectation of restoring the worlds that he had seized. Nor was he happy with the antics of his so called allies from Gershon. Rather than support his aims, they’d initially treated the whole endeavour as a massive opportunity to pillage the Empire for technology, rare metals and slaves without considering that the Empire was...

Hypnotising My Brother to Cure His Shyness

My name is Fiona. For the past five years I've been away from home at University getting my phd in Psychology, my final paper was on the benefits of Hypnosis in Psychology. I'm sure that sounds very interesting and it was but ultimately I found the results just were not substantial enough except in certain circumstances and indeed in many cases it can be harmful to the patient to be forced to repress memories or feelings using hypnosis. For example ptsd it sounds like a dream come true to...

Ursula slammed her fist against the table in frustration. She tore the piece of paper she had been working on out of her notebook and noisily formed it into an origami boulder and tossed it on top of the pile overflowing her office waste basket. The CureChapter 16

Former High Bureaucrat Cillort watched in extreme dissatisfaction the various reports of his carefully planned bomb attacks on Vreekoos. Due to the Court of the High Table summoning the head of Magna Media to testify and knowing that lying was impossible with the AIs scanning (unlike the general population) he’d had to trigger his attacks early to avoid arrest. As a result many of his actual targets were not in the vicinity of the bombs and so his plan had not been as successful as he hoped....

Whatever had been used upon me had left me with a mouth that felt as if it had been used as a toilet brush holder, along with a splitting headache and pins and needles all over my body. “He’s awake,” came a distorted voice. “Good, it’s time for some answers,” came another. “What do you want to know?” I croaked out. The four of us, however, were summoned to see Amantil and give her our personal impressions of what was going on. “So, Grigo is not the legitimate heir to the Mirza faction?” Amantil asked mildly. “No, as it appears you suspected,” Cass replied. “True, though it matters not.
