I know he lives here and he wanted me to come back with him. So i quit my job, and here i am.” She smiled again.
“i know that you lost your mom when you were born and that your relationship with your dad is on the rocks, but don’t worry, things will be different from now on. We were actually expecting you to be back 2 days ago. Your dad wanted to introduce us much earlier, but you just came home today. He’s leaving for jakarta tomorrow. There’s still some unfinished business there.” She explained.
“i don’t know what to say. I never expected my dad to remarry after all these years,” i admitted to her.
