Chapter Two
As the woods got dark, the captors would come back and untie their
captives and send them on their way. The boy who had captured me let me
go untied my wrists and told me I could untie the rest of my ropes and go
now. He hadn't won that day and he said it was because Julie had managed
to escape, probably with my help.
I untied the rest, pulled up my jeans and found my shoes and socks not
too far away before it began to get spooky in the woods. As I walked out
to the edge of the woods, I saw Julie sitting on a bank on the far side
of the road. She waved me over. I went over and sat down with her. The
last of the boys was exiting the trees and saw us. "You "girls" have a
nice night" he said. I assumed he was trying to insult me because of my
skinny build.
After a while, Julie said, "Why did you mention my nails?" I was a little
caught by this. I was afraid I had revealed my intense passion for
polished nails to someone. I said, "Oh, my mother and sister polish their
nails, and I think it's pretty. So I guess that's why I notice it."
"Would you like to come have dinner at my house?" she asked. My immediate
desire was yes, but knew I had to clear this at home since my mother
didn't know Julie. So we walked to our little house to see if this was
ok.
My mother was getting ready to go out on a date, and my sister wasn't
going to be home for a while. So mother said it would be fine if it was
all right with Julie's parents. Julie explained, "My parents are divorced
also, and I almost never bring anyone home, so when I do, Mom really
likes it. So can Tory come with me?" Mother gave a nod of approval as she
put on her lipstick to go. I couldn't help watching this with deep
interest. Julie also took note of my interest.
Julie's house was only a street over so we walked down the alley that ran
behind both houses and went in through her back door. This door led into
the kitchen where her mom was cooking. Julie introduced us. Her mom was
tall and slender, and from her face it as obvious she was Julie's mom.
She was dressed in a pretty dress and wedge sandals. Her sandy hair was
pulled up in a high pony tail. I immediately noticed that her nails were
the same color as Julies, and her red toes peeked out from the sandals
she wore.
We went to wait for dinner in Julie's room. I had never been in a girls
room that wasn't my sister. It was more girly than I thought it would be
from Julie's tomboy appearance, and I guess I let that idea slip out.
"Yes," she said with a sign, "mom would like me to dress like her all the
time, with dresses and heels, but I like to dress this way more. I do
some feminine things to make her happy, like the nail polish and
lipstick. But that's about it so far."
After some conversation about why we had moved here, she asked bluntly,
"Why do you like being tied up?"
"Why do you?" I shot back.
"I like the challenge of getting away, which I can almost always do. But
YOU like being tied up, don't you? It's okay if you do."
"I don't know. I just always have." This was so true. I never knew where
this desire came from. I knew it had started when I saw an image in a
teen magazine of my sister's. The photo was of a babysitter who had tied
up her young charge so she could watch TV undisturbed. I was instantly
different.
"Why do you like nail polish so much?" she asked.
Now I was getting embarrassed. I didn't know I had given so much away so
easily. Or maybe I was caught that anyone would ask such blunt questions.
"Look," she said. "It's ok whatever the reason. You're just the only kid
in the neighborhood that ever said anything about my nails. And I noticed
how you looked when your mom was putting on her lipstick. Then when you
saw my mom, I thought you were going to explode. So?"
I felt almost dizzy. I was short of breath and didn't know what to say. I
got up like I was going to leave. Julie jumped in front of me and closed
here door. She shoved my by the shoulders so I fell back onto the floor.
Then she seemed to jump from the door and was sitting astride my hips.
"Listen! I don't have any friends in this place. But for some reason, I
really like you. You're going to be my friend, understand?" she demanded.
She then fell forward with her hands on my shoulders and her face
unbelievable close to mine.
"Yes, I understand." I realized I never wanted to be anyone's friend more
than this.
After dinner, Julie's mother said she was going out with some friends,
and did I need to go home now, or was it all right to stay.
Julie responded, "Oh, he's going to stay over if it's ok with you."
"It's ok with me if it's ok with his parents."
"His mother said it was fine," she lied. She bent down to my height so
she was right in my face.
"Yes, it's find with my mother." I wanted to be with my friend.
We watched TV for about an hour. Then Julie, grabbed me by the wrist and
pulled me off the couch. She led me to the back of the house into her
mother's bedroom. She could tell I was hesitant. "It's okay. She loves it
when I come in here to use here things. Sit here" She gestured to a seat
in front of a vanity. "Let me play, okay?" she asked.
My heart was pounding. I could feel my pulse into my fingertips. I knew I
should run home, but I also knew I wasn't going to.
I nodded yes.
We entered the bedroom. It was dark with the drapes closed. There was a
vanity that looked like it was from the 20's with a large circular
mirror in the middle. It was messily covered with all sorts and colors of
makeup, powers, and liquids.
"Sit here!" she demanded, and I sat down in the chair. "Now listen to me.
If you ever tell me "no" I will let you leave but you can never come
back. If you let me play my way, we'll have lots of fun. Well, I'll have
lots of fun, and you may find out more about yourself than you know."
Again, I nodded.
She left the room and came back with a bunch of rope. "We used to have a
clothesline. When we got a dryer, I saved this."
"Go get in her shower," she said. "I don't want to be playing with
someone sweaty and dirty. And when you're done, come back and sit in this
chair"
I went into the bathroom, stripped off my clothes and washed myself down.
I was trembling. When I had finished, I dried off, went back into the
bedroom and sat down. I didn't see Julie. Suddenly there was a presence
behind me. She wrapped ropes around my chest and pulled me to the back of
the chair. She then moved to the arms and tied my wrists to them.
"You don't have to tie me," I said. "I know," she replied. "I just really
wanted to. So, just shut up now."
Finally she tied my ankles together, and pulled them towards the back of
the chair so my feet were elevated.
"Now. My mother always wanted a girly girl. And I'm just not. And she
spends hours teaching me how to do my makeup and nails, and it would be a
SHAME to let that go to waste. So I'm going to practice on you."
"What if she comes home!" I panicked.
"What if she does? That would be GREAT. She could see how much I've
learned, and you would be totally embarrassed."
She began my matching a base to my skin tones and putting it all over my
face and even down onto my hairless chest. She next worked on my eyes
with shadows of purple and blue. Next she contoured by highlighted my
cheekbones and put blush underneath. Finally she said, "Relax our lips
and let your mouth fall open". She then applied a deep red lip color to
my lips, took a tissue and made be blot on it. I had seen my mother and
sister do this hundreds of times so I knew what to do.
"You're going to LOVE this next part!" she said.
She opened a drawer that was filled with dozens of nail colors. She
picked a color I would now describe as between deep purple and plum. I
had never seen a color like this before. In my house, I had only seen
reds and pinks. The color was intoxicating. She shook the bottle and
opened it. That smell of polish wafted up into my nose. The smell was
equally intoxicating, and I could not hide my erotic response.
"Ohhhhhh. You really DO like nail polish, don't you, you naughty girl."
She smiled.
She slide her hand underneath my fingers and took her time applying the
polish, occasionally using her own nails to wipe away a slight mistake.
She was really skilled with the brush and because she took her time with
this, it took a while. Then she untied my ankles from the back of the
chair and let my feet move forward.
"While your nails dry......." And she let that hang in the air.
She began to polish my toes. She sat on the floor and lifted my bound
feet onto her knee. "You have very nice nails. You don't bite your nails
do you?"
She was right. My mother had always made me be meticulous about grooming.
NEVER bite your nails. NEVER just pick at the nails on your toes was her
mantra.
Now finished, she returned to add a second coat to my fingers. She then
stood up.
"Now I'm going to pick out something for you to wear for when we go out."
She could see the fear in my face, I know, because she said, "I can let
you go home right now, remember?'
I collapsed back into the chair. "Good girl." She smiled.
She returned with a box. She opened it and began pulling out an
assortment of things. "These are some of my things from a few years ago.
Mom NEVER throws anything out. She keeps it for a while, then it gets
donated. And, as you can see, they're VERY girly. Perfect for you!"
She untied me from the chair, and began handing me things to try on.
First was a pair of blue panties, followed by a pair of white shorts. I
put them on, but was embarrassed to see that the blue showed through the
white.
"No one will even notice. You're just too cute and silly."
Next was a puffy sleeved pullover top that came down a little short of
meeting the top of the shorts. I tried to pull up the shorts and then
pull the top down to meet. That didn't work and my midriff was on
display.
She tossed a pair of white sandals to me and I put them on. I stared at
my polished toes as they grasped the end of the sandals. I looked at
myself in the mirror. It was a young girl I didn't know. Again, I had an
immediate erotic response, and Julie noticed. "I think you like this as
much as the nail polish." She smiled.
"HAIR," she shouted.
She disappeared into her mother's closet and came and returned with a
pageboy red wig. "Hold here," she instructed, demonstrating how to hold
the front as she pulled from the back. Once it was in place, she stepped
back, let out a breathe, and said, "My new girlfriend! Time to go out."
