• You will learn a bit about magic and its different varieties. In this world, magic is not homogeneous. Magic takes many forms depending on someone's inner gift. You can expect traditional wands, staffs, gestures, spoken or unspoken spells. Bones, cards, hex bags, sigils, that's all on the table. And much more, familiars, for example … Also, imagine all those hidden, long-unread books and scrolls waiting to be finally cleaned of dust and read again. Another matter, did I mention that magic is not static, but behaves more like a living, evolving organism? Some of Hoewart's teachers feel the same way. Therefore, if someone needs a new magic spell, a new tool, and a new way to shape reality, he or she goes straight to Gertrude's magical laboratory. That crazy woman is able to invent anything. But her efforts cost.
• Did we talk about the magic gift already? Yes, I believe I had mentioned that word. A magical gift multiplies the power of a wizard, magician, witch, shaman etc., but is not necessarily needed to use magic at all. Remember that magic is a living thing? With just the right knowledge everybody can use it. It just has to answer. It's just like physics. Except magic is not taught in ordinary schools. Such people, without an iota of magic, also study here, some with success, and the others, without. Giftless students are often considered as weaker and inferior and therefore are bullied by students that have a gift.
• Hoewart is a school located in an enormously big, beautiful, and mysterious castle. Throughout this story, you will traverse countless miles of corridors, you will visit a multitude of public and private chambers, classrooms, and meeting halls. The interiors are not empty! Fully furnished, decorated, often with magical items that share interesting properties. Oh, and let's not forget about the secret places too! Another matter, have you seen ghosts and ghouls wandering here and there in the light of day? No? So now you'll be seeing them quite often.
• Hoewart is not only an extensive Castle, and it’s definitely not placed in a vacuum. The land on which it stands is covered with impenetrable forests, mountains with its deep caves, lakes, and rivers. Magical flora and fauna are waiting to be discovered and interacted with. But(t) beware! Known and unknown creatures lurk for careless wizards, ready to ask them for a favor, kill or … fuck them.
• There is a small town at the foot of the castle. This is the place where the ordinary people who work at the School of Magic live. Because wizards rarely do anything themselves. They spend all their free time studying magic and becoming stronger. Officially. Unofficially, they love to drink, gamble, show off their skills, scheme, and fuck in the corners. Therefore, they need servants who will clean, cook, sew and clothes for them, and craft every necessary everyday objects. The headmaster also needs a personal servant. Who will he choose?
• Hoewart is a very dynamic place. For centuries, these ancient walls have witnessed conspiracies, intrigues, wars even, budding friendships, love and romance, betrayal, and also ... occasional murders. Until today, nothing has changed. Well ... maybe this dynamics has escalated after all. This is why the old headmaster was abruptly, and brutally fired, and the new one was appointed. But wait a minute, was restoring Hoewart's greatness once again the sole purpose for appointing the new headmaster? Weren't there any other reasons behind this?
• Hoewart turned dark and forgot its original purpose. What was it? Or has it always been like that? Anyway, a whole lot of pathology has arisen within these walls. Magical drugs, illegal potion brewing and distribution related, sex for good grades or points for their Houses and Guilds, bullying, human and creature slavery, violence, stealing rare scrolls and books, production and distribution of magic porn. What the heck happened, Hoewart?
• Magic duels where everything is allowed (except for killing which is extremely severely punished. Physical non-lethal injuries aren't). Here you will witness duels between students as well as between students and teachers. They all just have to remember to better be successful. • Houses and Guilds. Almost every student belongs to one. It's good to be in a larger group, especially in Hoewart. They bring together students with similar interests, skills, and goals. Each House and Guild is managed and supervised by one of the teachers, whose substitute is a student of his choice, usually the most diligent student. Read that again. The diligent one. • Ranking of schools. Hoewart is just one of the many schools of magic. Others strive extremely aggressively to achieve the title of the best and most important and influential of all schools. • People, because they are the most important! Each encountered in this story person has its unique character, experiences, fears, desires, and goals. But let's be honest. These days, some youths became more rebellious, less interested in studying. They prefer to play and fuss. They definitely need to face a strong hand. Will they comply? And the teachers? They are even worse!

OK, that above was the quick introduction. Now a few words about me, so you won't get surprised later. The writing of this story is in the middle. I work nine to five, and I write in my spare time. I don't know how often I will post the next chapters, rather irregularly, I presume. I’m not sure if I am writing more for your pleasure or my own.
