Ajitha: Now can we move on? I had told him that I’d be there by 6.00 pm.
Me: Sure my love, I know he must’ve reached by 5 pm itself.
And we both laughed. Then her phone rang and she picked it up and answered. This was how it went.
Ajitha (on phone): Yes, on the way, will be there by 6-6:10 max (some giggles). Hmm..me too. Well, you’ll soon find out. You have 2 days and 3 nights. So, now stop complaining (again that naughty giggle).
Then I looked at her. My wife was blushing and glowing in her sexual excitement. I love to watch that glow on her face.
Me (on phone): Yes me too, ok-ok. Will be there soon.
I looked at her again when the call was over. Then she turned to me blushing.

Me: Which floor?
Ajitha: 7th.
I pressed the button. Though we’ve done this before more than a few times, I felt a pinch of jealousy maybe when I looked at her once again. Maybe she knew it too. Then she hugged me and said –
Ajitha: I love you.
And she remained so till the lift door opened on the 7th floor.
Me: I love you too, no matter what..
She kissed me on my cheek once again. We were on the 7th-floor corridor. His room was at the end. The lake-facing one. Then holding my hand, she turned to me and said –
Ajitha: I’ll go now.
I nodded. I knew, though this wasn’t the first time, she didn’t want me to be there when she was gonna meet him. Maybe she’d feel freer if I will not be around them. Or maybe she feared that she might be so excited to see him, or that maybe their highly excited reactions to each other might hurt me or something.
I was not sure. But she was okay with me around when he was leaving. But not when my wife was meeting him and while I was standing near the lift, looking at her starting to walk towards the room. She turned around with that naughty smile and asked me –
Ajitha: Wanna know the reason, that why he choose exactly these days for the meet?
I asked: What? Why?
Ajitha: You know I’ve just had my periods. And it’s my safe days, so.
And she looked at me with that naughty smile. I was damn hard and I asked –
Me: So, no condoms?
