The next morning, Collin and Spencer slept late. They wound up eating just lunch.
The L's, the U's, and I took them on a tour of the island. We took them to the pier and showed them how coconuts were harvested.
With 2 hours to go before supper, I broke out the fireworks, and showed it to them. I did it in my room, so not to interfere with the TK's setting the table. Our escorts watched with great interest, as we pawed over our bounty of pyrotechnics.
Spencer let out a low whistle. "Some of this stuff I've never seen before, especially these that you've got set up for the finale. I don't think these are legal in the US."
Collin broke his usual silence. "Wyoming has fireworks for sale, year round. I think I saw some of them there."
After supper, I showed the boys our TV. I had the TK's, who were now in the security room, disable the porn channels. The guys were amazed at the movies which we had, that were still in the theaters. We ended up watching two movies.
We sat in the couch pit. Each guy had a girl on each side. Ursula and Uma sandwiched Collin; Samantha and Sarah nestled up against Spencer; and Lisa and Lorraine snuggled up against me. I'm not sure how much of the movies my friends saw, with that kind of distraction.
After the last movie, I stood up. "Collin, I want to show you something that I think you'll like. Everyone else, come along." I took him out to the back lawn, which was on the south side of the house. "Tia, could you dim all the south facing lights?"
"Sure thing, boss; how dark do you want it?"
"Keep on only the emergency light."
The sky was lit up with thousands of stars. It was almost bright enough to read by. The moon had not risen yet, so there were just stars. Collin was a big stargazer. He knew the names and locations of hundreds of stars and constellations, and I knew he'd get a big kick out of this.
"I was hoping for this," he exclaimed, and ran back into the house. He returned with his star book and flashlight with a red bulb.
"Why red?" Uma asked.
"It doesn't spoil your night vision," Collin informed her.
He walked out into the center of the vast lawn, and stretched out his arms. "This is perfect; a clear sky, with low humidity, and no light pollution!"
Suddenly, Collin was in his element. Gone was the shy, whispering young man. He showed us two planets, and a dozen bright stars, some of which could not be seen in the contiguous United States.
"What's that white cloud behind the stars?" asked Ursula.
"That's the Milky Way," said Collin. "You are looking straight into the heart of our galaxy. It's billions of stars so far away, they look like a cloud."
"Wow!" said Lisa. "You are really smart!" Either she really meant it, or she was just doing an excellent job of buttering him up.
"Don't rub it in," he muttered.
"But, isn't being smart a good thing?" asked Lorraine.
"Not if you want to be popular, or get a girl to go out with you," his voice cracked. I'm pretty sure he was tearing up.
All 6 of the girls were now hugging Collin. I'm not sure which of the S's said, "They're idiots. You're adorable, and you have a great future ahead of you."
He was almost smothered under tits and kisses. "I know I do. It's living in the present that sucks."
When the love fest was over, I ushered our group back into the house. "Lights back up, please."
One of the TK's spoke over the intercom. "Before everyone retires for the night, my partner and I have a surprise for you."
And it really was a surprise, for everyone. All the girls whispered amongst themselves.
"While we were in Honolulu, we decided to get all our housemates some new clothes. They are waiting in the dumbwaiter."
As they all rushed for the kitchen, one of the presenters said, "Why don't you try them on, and model them for the boys?"
For the first time in over a month, I had no guard. No woman was in the room with me.
Collin filled the silence. "Thank you so much for letting me out to see the stars, Kevin."
Before I could respond, the intercom turned on. "Our first models for tonight are the lovely Sarah and Samantha. This zaftig duo is sporting their signature string bikini, but with a difference."
Sure enough, the 2 bombshells came out wearing a tiger-striped string bikini. In each hand they had a glass of water. I had never seen them in that particular pattern before, but it was not exceptionally risqué; not for them.
Our runway announcers continued. "You may ask what is so special about this outfit. Ladies, if you'd do the honors."
The ash blondes poured a glass of water over their partner's breasts, and then poured the other glass down their thong bottom. Almost instantly, the fabric turned translucent, almost transparent. They both saw the results, and burst out laughing. Not a modest bone in their body.
"As you can see, this swimsuit is perfect for the girl who wants an all over tan. Thank you, Samantha and Sarah."
They strutted out of the living room.
"Our next models are the vivacious Lisa and Lorraine. They are wearing a variation on their halter top look."
The two redheads strutted out wearing a white halter top that was so sheer, it was like gauze. It enhanced their breasts, making their C-cup beauties even more alluring. When they left, one of the TK's continued. "That leaves out youngest models, Uma and Ursula. They have a new take on their tee shirt and short combo."
The petite blondes came skipping out wearing a tee shirt made of a sparkly elastic material that clung to her body, showing off what assets they had. Spencer stood up, his hands over his crotch. "That was a great evening, but I need to get to bed."
Collin nodded, "Me too."
The two exited for their room.
I spoke to the room in my sternest voice. "Tia and Kai, you are horrible! Those boys will not be able to sleep. They'll be up jerking off half the night."
They both laughed. "Sorry, Sir; we just wanted to provide a little entertainment."
"In 10 minutes it will be midnight, and you'll be out of that room. I'm going to take you over my knee and spank your bare bottoms."
They let out a squeal of delight. "That sounds like fun. We can't wait!"
The S's headed off to get ready for their shift at the security room.
Uma cleared her throat. "Speaking of working in the security room, we are working the late shift tomorrow."
I nodded. "That's right."
"We won't get a crack at Collin. Would it be okay if we gave him a visit tonight?"
I pondered for a minute. "I'm sorry. Tomorrow is the big finish of his vacation. It would throw everything off schedule."
They looked very disappointed. "We understand, Sir."
The next day was the 4th. I woke Collin and Spencer up for breakfast this time. It was a simple meal of cereal, toast, pineapple juice, and coffee, for those who drank that stuff.
When everyone was seated, I made an announcement. "Today, we are having no lunch."
Several looked upset. "Why not, Sir," asked Ursula.
"Because, we are feasting tonight; and you'll want an empty stomach for what I'm cooking up."
"You're cooking?" asked Sarah.
"It's tradition. Men do the outside grilling."
None of the girls seemed to have heard of this tradition.
Spencer piped up. "We'll help him out too."
I nodded. "I believe we have all had some experience grilling.
"We'll probably start around 2pm, and the meat should be ready around 4. We'll eat then."
"What do you need us to do?" asked Samantha, who would normally be in charge of lunch and supper, with her partner.
"Get the table set. Make sure that the non-cooked food, like the buns, cole slaw and potato salad, and all the condiments are on the table. Oh, and don't forget the sodas."
"Do you have a picnic table?" asked Spencer.
I shook my head no.
"That would have been perfect; eating outside, in the shade of the palm trees."
"We'll have to do that next time."
I had a great time grilling. It reminded of the days when my family was whole. On any of the summer holidays, my dad and I would be out back cooking up steaks, chicken, or brats. My mom and Ellen would be inside making a tossed salad.
At first, the girls all huddled around us, watching us get the charcoal going. But we shooed them all away, with only the L's remaining, my guards for the day; and we kept them at a respectful distance. It turned out; the other four watched us with the security cameras on the TV. The all seemed amazed at our ability to cook using fire.
As we grilled the massive pile of meat we had waiting, the 3 of us got caught up on what had been going on in town. What girl was dating what guy; that kind of thing. When a plate got full, we had Lisa or Lorraine run it in for another.
As we were getting to the last of the hot dogs, I told Lisa, "We're about ready to eat. Tell one of the S's to heat the steaks in the microwave for a couple minutes."
I turned to my friends. "I know it's not traditional, but I prefer my steaks warm, not room temperature."
We feasted. Even after we gorged ourselves, there was still enough left over for 3 more meals. The girls marveled at how much better burgers tasted when grilled.
As we finishing off the meal with a slice of apple pie, I announced, "After everything is cleaned up, we'll go out to the pier."
"Already?" exclaimed Uma. "I thought fireworks were shot off after dark."
"Most, but not all," I replied.
We loaded the golf carts with our fireworks, and headed down our only road. Each box was numbered, in order of use.
When we arrived at the pier, the ship was already anchored about 100 yards offshore. There were about 30 people on it; most of them were women and children. They were drinking beers and eating barbecue. The kids were running all over the place, yelling and laughing.
I turned to Ursula. "Is there any way we can communicate with them?"
She and her partner ran to the little shack that was right next to the pier, and came back with a battery-powered megaphone.
I put it to my mouth and said, "Ahoy, Lanaian Star, can you come to the shore for a minute? We have a gift for you."
The passengers suddenly went silent; and after a few minutes the two anchors were drawn up, and the engine was started. The ship pulled up to the pier. The L's grabbed the mooring lines.
The captain dropped the gangplank, and came ashore. I greeted him with a big box.
"This is for all of you. Happy Fourth of July!"
He seemed genuinely surprised, and he shook my hand. "Thank you."
"Some of those should not be used until dark, and some of those kids are too small."
He smiled. "I'll be careful."
The ship pulled away from the shore, and parked back where it was.
Soon the sound of firecrackers could be heard from the ship.
I pulled my group together. "I know some of you know this, but I want to remind you. Fireworks are not toys. Do not aim them at other people, and unless they are designed for it, don't hold them after you light them."
