Well, at least one drug gang knew that we were after them. We met with Mr. Higgins to decide on our next move. We concluded that we were making an impression on the gang, so our best bet was to keep doing what we were doing. The gang probably did not know who was after them, so they really knew as little as we did. The longer we kept them in the dark, the better off we were.

We hit those same street corners that we had hit twice before. This time, though, we were very careful to check each dealer out before approaching him. We did not want to walk into an ambush. Nevertheless, we did follow our basic pattern that had worked so well the two previous times.

Judy walked up to the pusher while Marlene and I hid in the shadows. This time, she asked for crack cocain in order not to tip off the pusher in case he had been warned about people asking for Vicodin. Naturally, the pusher had this on him, and we approached him while he was in the process of getting the material from his pocket. We were there so quickly that he had no chance to react, and we were in the process of questioning him almost before he had a chance to fall to the sidewalk.

Among other questions he answered, he gave us an address for the place where he had picked up his drugs. I warned him that he had better have given us a correct address, or he was a dead man. That scared the shit out of him (literally), and he assured us that the address was real. Just to prove that we were serious, we broke both knees and both elbows before we left him to his fate.

We hit five more pushers that night, following the same routine as with the first pusher. The address we received was always the same, so we bought into it. We left the last pusher and headed for the address that we had been given. This time, we tried to be a little smarter and waited for Judy to remove her oh so obvious white tee-shirt in exchange for her uniform shirt. Her jeans were dark enough that we thought that they would get by.

This time the house was another ranch style, so we varied our approach by trying to get in through a window into a darkened room. We figured that there was a good chance that the back way was now booby-trapped, and there was no point in tempting fate. I had a glass cutter that I used to cut a hole in the window glass large enough to get my hand through to reach the window latch. I had a very small LED flashlight with only one element that I used to look at the room before we climbed in. My eyes were now adjusted to see very well in dim light, so this was enough to tell me that the room was not occupied by a human.

I opened the latch and raised the window. Now I could get into the room, and I used my larger flashlight to examine the floor around the window before I crawled in. I was looking for something untoward that I might step on. I didn't see anything that looked troublesome, so I slithered through the window and pulled my two companions through after me. We used our flashlights to examine the room more carefully, and found several boxes that contained small plastic bags containing a powdered substance.

The stories about tasting a suspected drug to identify it was a lot of bunk, so we did not try that. It worked in the movies and on TV, but never in real life. Nevertheless, we were satisfied that we had found what we were looking for, so all we needed to do now was to find some human from whom we could extract some information.

The door to the rest of the house was locked, but we had all taken a course in lock picking. As it happened, Marlene was the best at picking locks, so she was given this job. She looked at the lock and snorted. She pulled a skeleton key from her pocket and unlocked the door. Okay, I did blush.

We turned off our flashlights, eased the door open, and looked around carefully. The house was dark, and that was when it dawned on me that we needed some sort of night-vision glasses. Unfortunately, we had none at the moment, so we were going to have to get by with what we had: Mark 1 eyeballs.

We closed the door and stood in the dark for 10 minutes for our eyes to adjust to very low light. I pulled out my small LED flashlight and turned it on. The light was very dim, but hopefully it would be enough to keep us from having a stupid accident. We opened the door again and I looked out with the aid of that tiny flashlight. I was looking into a hallway that seemed to run the length of the house. There were several doors opening off the hall on both sides, and we were about halfway down the hall. There were two more doors on this side of the hall and four doors on the other side of the hall.

We needed to check each room before we looked in the cellar. To speed things up, we split up to try three more doors. Judy found the bathroom, Marlene found a bedroom, and I found another bedroom. All of these rooms were empty of anything but disreputable furniture. There were three rooms across the hall, and one was a living room, one was a dining room, and the third had a locked door. This time, the lock was more sophisticated than that first locked door, so Marlene attacked it with an expert's eye. She had little trouble opening the door to an office.

There was the usual desk and chair in the room as one would expect, but there were no filing cabinets, etc. We searched the desk and found nothing of interest. Okay, it was now time to look in the cellar.

The only room left to check was the kitchen where the top of the cellar stairs must be. Based on our previous experience with kitchens, we looked the place over thoroughly for any sort of trap. We did not find one, and we began to wonder why. Oh, well, we were thankful for all favors. We found out why when I opened the door to the cellar stairs.

Not being a complete fool, I stood to one side when I opened the door. Dammit, there was the shotgun that we had been looking for. Unfortunately for me, several of the buckshot from the shotgun blast caught me in the side and spun me around. I was not hurt by the buckshot, but I got a sound knock on the head when I fell to the floor.

Judy ran to cover us from anybody coming up the stairs while Marlene looked after me. Fortunately, the only harm to me was a headache and a torn uniform shirt. The four buckshot were embedded in my Kevlar vest, but we could worry about them later.

There was no sign of anyone trying to come up the stairs, so I just sat on the floor for a few minutes while my head cleared. It only took about five minutes for me to rejoin the land of the conscious and aware people, so I stood up and surveyed our options. Surely, there was something in the cellar which warranted being defended by a shotgun, so it behooved us to check it out.

Just in case the shotgun might fire again, we were careful to stay out of line of the barrel as we went down the steps. The light switch worked this time, and we could see without our flashlights. Judy led the way with her drawn gun, and we got all the way down without any obvious problems. Marlene and I were holding our batons at the ready in case there was an appropriate target for us.

Judy got to the bottom of the stairs and turned to her right toward the main part of the cellar when a man jumped out of the shadows and hit her in the head with a steel bar. The guy really didn't know the best technique for that kind of attack, and the bar glanced off her steel skull cap. However, the force of the blow was enough to knock her to the floor and to stun her. I had no doubt that she had collected a concussion from that blow.

Well, nobody treats my sister that way, and I jumped at the attacker before he had fully recovered from his swing. I hoped to save him for questioning, so I went after his elbow instead of his head. I broke his right elbow with one swing of my baton, and the man dropped the steel bar. He screamed in pain, but he screamed even louder when I broke his left elbow. He was now essentially helpless, but I broke his left knee to keep him from wandering off before we could talk to him.

Vacation on RehomeChapter 10

George and Marina helped Georgina clear out her flat. Most of what she kept were pieces of inexpensive jewellery that she liked; her photograph albums; and mementos of Amelia’s childhood. George declared that it would be easy to copy the photos on to a digital file and keep them on a memorystick, as well as being available on her phone. They decided to deal with that on George’s computer at home. Georgina asked, “George, can we eliminate my late husband from some of the photos, when we put...

Malan Mothers on RehomeChapter 11

"You may be right about us humans, but The Personalia have blossomed too. They have become more involved with Earth as time has gone on. They have adapted to capitalism with a vengeance. They own a number of business on Earth, and have almost entirely monopolised the audit sector of business: numbers are their forte, you see, and they have established a reputation for probity. I have heard rumours of them pursuing criminals and removing their stolen assets: much more effective than jailing...

Bob Kempe, the Governor of Rehome colony, was at his office when he received an unexpected call from the Personalia. “Governor, we have been analysing some of the statistical data that is compiled in major countries on Earth, and we have observed that there is a set of trends which may interest you. The statistics on crime contain data on assaults within families, and in recent months this has begun to decline, to an extent that indicates this to be a real effect and not a statistical...

I like sex. I refer to making love as an art. Can’t even figure out the right words to describe that feeling when I orgasm. Its like mixture of best pleasure emotions blended together, some sort of a tickle and overload of happiness. It will make your body shake, lose control over yourself and doesn’t leave you completely breathless. It can be recognized as the best feeling ever a girl can have. I love writing about it. That way I can send my thoughts, through lush to far off countries,...

Ladys Choice

We all remember our first time. It’s an important, if sometimes cringe-worthy, milestone on the road to adulthood. Our minds replay the scenes again and again, as if from an old, favorite film. Here is my story. The busy luncheonette adjoining the main concourse didn’t look too toxic. I dropped my duffle bag and slid onto a stool at the counter without anyone so much as looking at me. I take that back. A waitress slapped down a mug and, unsolicited, filled it with steaming black coffee. “Back...

"That lady who escorted you here – Ruth I think you said her name was; can she sign an affidavit that there was no such intent?" "I expect so. There were a group of ladies involved in getting me and the girls together. They called themselves Malan mothers." Mrs Mboya's eyebrows lifted. "Ah. So that is who that lady is; one of the five Malan mothers? Derek – what is your surname, boy?" "Dearden, ma'am." "Mr Dearden, you have struck lucky. These ladies recently became famous in...

Annabel asked the Governor, "Do you mind if I do the phone call? I think I can handle them okay, I really do." "Perhaps, but what would you say to them on this call?" "Just that things happened here, nice things, and that we have decided to remain on Rehome for the time being." Bob glanced over at Ruth, and asked, "Ruth – are you fine with this line?" Ruth looked thoughtful, then said, "Yes, I do believe that might be effective, if Annabel keeps her call simple and to the...

Annabel, in her position as the Montford family head on Rehome, took the lead. “What do you mean, “think about what we do next”?” “There are several ways you might approach matters. One: if you feel that you have been raped by Trevor, you can have him tried by a jury here. I think you would have trouble convincing a jury, as you participated with considerable gusto, and he did not administer the drug either – I did, by pure mischance. Fearn, if you would dispense the tea, and I pour the coffee, Nargo can assist with the milk jug. Right, girls?" Fearn and Nargo did a 'high five' and proceeded with their tasks, while the adults admired their dedication to these duties. As soon as the drinks were poured, Esme sent Nargo and Fearn to bring in the plates of scones, pancakes, and decorated cupcakes. Helen was quick to spot a solution. "Let's refer it to the colony authorities. They have access to all the scientists on the planet, so they should be able to get the right people on the job. Robert had a possible solution. "Either the ground is very absorbent, and the water seeps through, or the geology is limestone, and there are underground rivers conveying the water to the sea. One could test that by measuring the salinity of the ocean about a kilometre from the shore. Where an underground river meets the ocean, the salinity level will drop markedly, due to the freshwater input. I am not sure how we could run these tests, though." The professor wanted to see the fish market and meet some fishermen, so Tom got permission from his boss – his wife - to escort her there and make the introductions. The market was simply an area next to the harbour, with a few stalls erected to protect the catches from the sunshine – on the days when it was sunny. Otherwise it was to shelter the fish from the drying winds from onshore. Tom explained that you had to time your visit correctly. If you arrived just as the fisherman came...

"The difficulty we have experienced is the inconsistency in the rock we are going through. Most of it is sedimentary, then you can strike a quarts vein, or a volcanic dyke, which is much harder, or you can find a patch of sand. The only solution is injecting grout to solidify the sand, but that is a physical job, not the same as excavating with nanites, so the tunnelling stops for a while, before it gets...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 15

The Montford wedding was a success, with Judith finally becoming another Mrs Montford, legally as well as in practice. Her parents had sat in the front pews, carefully observing their daughter's nuptial ritual with pride. They were now accepting of her being one of three wives of George Montford, when she had told them how happy she was to be joining that loving household. George had promised them that she would be dearly loved, and remain one of his three loves for as long as he lived. Mrs...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 16

The following silence was deafening, then Angelina slowly said, “That is up to John. If it will help you, I am willing to lend him ... IF he is also willing. John??” John cleared his throat. “Let’s finish what we started, first, my darling wife; then if Annetta still wants it, AND with you there supporting me, then yes, I can try.” Angelina squeezed herself out of the cluster, to be above, and sought John’s cock with one hand. Her other arm maintained her relative position. She sank down...

our first motorhome

We got a good deal on our neighbor's motorhome, and we were anxiously making plans for getting Peggy fucked by some young guys.We bought it as a sexond vehicle, so even though it wasn't cost effective my wife drove it back and forth to work. While she was working one day the owner introduced her to a very young man and told her to show him the way around. They were picking an order to be picked up and she was explaining how to find all the items and where they were. She noticed his eyes were...

Home Sweet Homeland

"Elisabeth, can you come into my office at once, please?" Elisabeth Manning looked up from her computer screen, surprised at the somber tone in Willard Aldredge's voice. He was usually a pretty unemotional sort of a boss, the kind of steady going and rather dull bureaucrat to be found in any government department in Washington. Then again, Elisabeth would have had to use much the same words to describe her own life; steady and dull. But something or someone had obviously got Willard fired...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 21

"Ladies, I am treating you equally. I am expressing my tender appreciation of your individual beauty." He continued, "If you are going to bear my children, then caressing your breasts is a sign of what we shall do together, is it not?" Euphemia gave in, and stopped objecting to his dual caress. "Perhaps so, but my body clock is trying to tell me it is early evening. Can you turn lunch into something more like dinner, Isabella my dear?" She patted Isabella's hand to show she was not...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 26

Trevor looked horrified. "As if I didn't have enough troubles already, with you lot!", but smiled to show he was joking. He looked into Peggy's eyes. "Are you really thinking that way, Peggy, my dear?" Peggy looked into his eyes, then cast her gaze downwards, saying softly, "Yes." Tracy seemed not to hear her, asking, "What was that, Peggy?" The girl spoke a little louder, "I said, Yes, Tracy." Tracy declared, her voice showing incredulity, "You want to marry our...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 32

"That is true, Governor, but we are able to extend its supervisory capability, from our position in orbit. We will put other satellites in permanent orbit to provide visual intelligence data, and we will supply a set of mechanoids to offer assistance where and when required by the human colonists. Thus, should we have to leave the planet without any Personalia, the observation capability will remain and the city mind will be able to operate our mechanoids in our stead." "Fine. I just...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 33

"First, I need to speak with Olu, to sort out the arrangements for his family group. Can you have him phone me from your phone? I will pay for the call." "That is acceptable, Winston. Next?" "Do you know if Olu or either of the twins have married? I need to calculate the total number of passengers: it affects the take-off weight. It will also determine how much luggage they can bring." "The last I heard of the family, there was no suggestion of marriage, or even engagement to marry....

Vacation on RehomeChapter 37

Adeola decided she should speak, "Winston, our dear husband, we are impressed by your knowledge of such matters, such technology, and we respect that; but with our own limited education we are unable to appreciate the points that so fascinate you. Accordingly, in the nicest way possible, may we leave these technical niceties to you, and we shall concentrate on housewifely duties and concerns. We do not expect you to be adept at bringing up children, for example. We would not wish to be...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 45

At home, Susan mentioned to her parents, "Mom, I have been invited to go meet a boy at his home tomorrow after school. There will be adults there to keep an eye on us, so there is nothing to worry about. They will see that I get home safely, too. "A boyfriend, Sue? This is new, isn't it?" "Yes, Mum, but he is not my boyfriend, at least not yet. This is just a first time together. It was arranged by my friend Peggy. Peggy has spoken to a lady from the farm where he lives, and that lady...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 61

Sylvia took a deep breath and declared, I want to marry you three." Annetta exclaimed, unbelievably stunned, "Again?" Sylvia turned on her, snapping out, "YES, again. You are the ones who loved me and took care of me when we first met, and again after Herbert ... died, so I want to give you back my own love. I even love you, Annetta." "This has nothing to do with caring for your baby, is it?" "Annetta, I am back to normal enough to recognise that this is a factor in my decision to...

Isabella reassured her husband. "It took her some time, but she saw the reasoning behind it. She told me that as long as she did not see you making love to her, she could cope with it." Ebenezer was mightily relieved. "Thank God for that," he said. "It is fine for you, as there is no relationship between you, but I was terrified if Effie and Phoebe came to blows over me. They have only recently become reconciled, and I would not want to be the cause of a further breakdown in relations...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 63

Trevor allowed himself a small smile as he gave his voice a serious timbre. "I do not know what his reaction will be to such a request. I can merely pass it on, and see what happens. Would you care to send the libretto – or whatever word you use for the words to a song? Lyrics, I think is the most common. Anyway, please send the lyrics to my phone, and I shall pass them on with your request. Did you select an appropriate tune for the words of Dinah's song? We really ought to have a title...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 68

"We can only put it to them, and let them decide, as a family. Wait until we have eaten, then we can take them aside and put it to them." The Lubbock family arrived mid-afternoon, father driving the tractor, and mother and Susan in cushioned benches in the trailer. The seats were complete with restraining belts, for protection from the many bumps and hollows in the farm tracks being used. On their arrival, they were offered a comfy seat on which to recover, and a cup of tea or coffee plus...

Malan Mothers on RehomeChapter 12

"Esther? Diane Kempe. Thank you for your assistance with that little problem on Earth. The Personalia were pleased with your advice. It worked out very well." "Thank you, Mrs Kempe. I was glad to help. It was good to know that my past experience had some value in a positive sense. I hope my old unit can now work more effectively in future." "That, I am sure of, thanks to your advice and The Personalia's actions. It has proved to me that your presence within our organisation can be...

Malan Mothers on RehomeChapter 17

Life resumed its normality for a few days, then one morning Esme looked at the list of appointments for today, and saw the name "Thomas Craven" among them. She hastened to speak with her supervisor, anxious to not put her foot in it if there was any conflict of interest. She explained her concern. "Sir, this Thomas Craven may be a gentleman whom I have met socially. It is the name of my babysitter's father. If you can establish whether he was in hospital recently with a stroke, that...

Vacation on RehomeChapter 4

Tracy appeared to be in serious thought, while Dinah simply beamed and responded, "As long as I am married to Trevor, I don't care who else gets to fuck him. You will always love me, Trevor, won't you?" "You will always have my love, little one; be assured of that. I am pretty certain I can love all four of you. I already feel that love: I don't know why. I just do. I have never felt like this before, but I am delighting in it. Give us some time to cement our relationship, and I think...
