As a storm started to form, I felt that it was going to be a bad one. Some people were in areas that would get small shocks from lightning hitting near them and have the hell beaten out of them by the quarter to golf ball-sized hail but wouldn’t be seriously injured. The route I was running had me getting everyone into some rocks that made a sort of cave-like area, and I would be the one with the back of me exposed as the tornado goes right over the top of us. I would be holding onto tree roots just inside where we took shelter.
I can’t pull any energy from this tornado to lower the intensity. Ellen will have everyone inside the cave on that end of camp as the tornado passes about twenty feet from the entrance. Why do I know that they will be trapped there but not in danger of anything more than getting dirt into places it should not go?
