Ashe laid in bed next to Claire. Ever since they got married, waking up and rolling over to see her beautiful wife had been one of the highlights of her day. “Bye sweetie. I’ll see you tonight.” Derek kissed his wife at the door and helped her put on her coat. It was a simple little thing that they started doing when they first got married and it has stuck with them almost thirty years later. They were still very much in love and didn’t care who knew. Derek worked from home and had a very hands-off job where he was able to take care of the housework most days so that when Amber got home from her office job, they could just enjoy some time together instead of worrying about cleaning the house or anything.
As Amber walked out the door, Ashe and Claire came down the stairs and Derek saw Ashe out as well after Claire gave her a kiss goodbye. He shut the door and Claire was already headed to the kitchen. He watched her hips sway and the hem of her sweater dress ride up ever so slightly as she walked before he followed her into the kitchen.
From the day Ashe and Claire had moved back in, Derek noticed that Claire was quite flirty with him and he responded in kind. Derek made his way to the stove and got ready to make breakfast. “Two eggs, bacon, toast, and orange juice like normal?”
Claire had taken her seat at the breakfast bar like normal, watching him work. “Skip the bacon today. Too much meat recently.” She smirked and winked as Derek looked over his shoulder at her.
“Too bad. I was going to offer you some nice meat later on.” He took out the eggs and the butter and started the toast as the pan heated up.
“Oh? Is it a nice big summer sausage or is it a little cocktail frank?”
“I guess you’ll never find out if you have had too much meat.” He knew she already knew how big he was. A chance meeting in the kitchen in the middle of the night while he only had on boxers showed her nearly everything.
They both started laughing at how casually they were referring to his dick and her seeing it. It had only been a couple months since his daughter told them she had to move back in but he and his daughter-in-law had hit it off nicely. He put her food on a plate and grabbed the juice out of the fridge. As he set the plate and a glass in front of her and started to pour the juice, he sighed.
“That girl really needs to learn to take some initiative. Was she always this late to work when you lived on your own?”
Claire thought back a bit and remembered that she was the reason her wife was always late. Claire would spend at least part of the morning sitting on Ashe’s face before she left. “Yeah. She has a problem getting going in the morning.”
“Hopefully she can straighten things out once you guys get your own place.”
“What? You don’t want us staying here forever?” Claire took the chance to change the subject so she wouldn’t get too flustered. For some reason, talking about her wife and her having sex flustered her but she could openly joke about it with her father-in-law and be perfectly fine.
“I would be more than happy to have you both stay. Although if you do…” Derek trailed off, unsure if he should say more.
“If we do…” Claire prodded for more information. She had an idea of what she wanted him to say but knew it was a long shot.
“Well…If you do, it would be nice to have a hand with the chores. Having more people means cleaning takes a lot longer.”
“Oh! I can absolutely help with that. Even if we don’t stay forever, I can still help now.”
“Are you sure? It’s nothing I can’t manage on my own.”
“I feel like I owe you at least that for how welcoming you both were when we needed help.”
Derek was tempted to argue more, saying how it was the least they could do but decided to just accept the help. By this time, they had both scarfed down their eggs and toast and he got up to take the plates to the sink. “Well alright. Amber left me a list of stuff to do. It’s on the table over there. Why don’t you check it out and we’ll divy up the chores.”
Claire made her way to the table and checked the list. Laundry, dishes, clean the ceiling fans, it was all simple stuff. Then at the bottom, something caught her eye. The last line read:
