Nah, that bate’s a nod to Chaturbate, one of a handful of the sources from which this masturbatory library is stocking their sticky shelves.
Live webcam sex sites have come a long way since their initial rise to prominence in the early ‘00s. The format has been polished and refined, and there are more girls flashing their tits and fingering their twats on bedroom cams than ever before. One of the biggest remaining drawbacks is simply the live nature of it all; if you ain’t online when your favorite camwhore is, you’re going to miss the show.
Enter Archivebate.com, a free video tube consisting of prerecorded shows from your favorite webcam sex platforms. It’s a simple but immediately enticing premise, seeing as how it fills in an obvious gap in the typical webcam setup, something that may well have given you an aching case of blue balls in the past. They’re a new site, living on a domain registered just a couple months ago, but they’re already pulling thousands of visits a month. Let’s see what all those cam fans are shaking their dicks at, shall we?
No Longer Live, but Still Sexy AF
The presentation at Archivebate is visually simple, dark and clean. The logo is a triangle that could be a sideways Play button, a dropdown menu, or a low-key Klansman secretly whacking off to all the sexy ebony camgirls among the roster. The thumbnails are tiny if you’re looking at the desktop version, so small that you might not immediately realize you’re looking at an adult site. The mobile version is more visually explicit to those with regular eyesight, with full tube-style thumbnails stretched across your tiny screen.
Oh, and let’s talk about those thumbnails. Even if you didn’t get the reference from the site’s name, the preview pics make it clear what they’re working with around here. Instead of the usual porn scene screencaps, these ones are clearly cam shows. The site is called Archivebate.com, and I'm sure most of you have put two and two together; they are, indeed, drawing content from Chaturbate, as implied by the portmanteau. That ain’t all, though. They’re actually collecting webcam shows from multiple big cam platforms. The current list includes Chaturbate, Camsoda and Stripchat. The more, the merrier as far as I’m concerned.
While recording cam shows seems like an obvious thing to do, it’s also obvious why cam sites don’t do it. Even if they were just recording videos from one site, that would take an incredible amount of resources. I’m not sure if you’ve ever tried to start your own porn site, but those hosting plans can get pricey when you need a lot of storage and bandwidth. Chaturbate alone has thousands of women performing live at any moment, so imagine all those shows being funneled to one central location.

This is the part of the review where I usually tell you how fast a website is growing. There are no real video titles on Archivebate, instead listing the time and date they were recorded. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any upload dates anymore. It’s obvious the site is growing fast as fuck, though, given the young age of the domain and the insane size of the library.
Getting Lost in the Sex Cam Archives
Goddamn, I have a hard enough time deciding where to begin my fap tests on sites with a couple dozen dirty movies to choose from. Fortunately, there were more than a few thumbnails out on the front page that caught my eye. My adblocker did a little bit of battling before the Play button did its job, but at least I didn’t get any popups.
