Chapter 12
Died and Gone to Heaven
The sun was quite high in the morning when I awoke, it must have been past nine o’clock, I lay awake trying to work out what had woken me and why it was so late when the events of the previous night came flooding back. Lorraine was still fast asleep but when I reached behind me Chrissy was not there but the bed was still warm, Chrissy must have woken me getting up. But if Mum is willing to share you, and you can love both of us then I will be the happiest girl alive.’
I looked at both of them and said ‘How could I not love you both, you are both perfect, beautiful caring and loving. However, right now I need a shower and the last one in the shower buys dinner!’ I disentangled myself with some difficulty as they were trying to keep me back. Luckily they were laughing too hard to be effective and I made the shower door with at least an eighth of an inch to spare with Chrissy’s cries of ‘I’m first with the shower gel!’ ringing in my ears.
