Prologue
Pepper, the 23 year old President of the Gamma Iota Fi Tau Sorority, stood at the top of the staircase of the immaculate house where she and her sisters lived. She stood watching over the dozens of pledges gathered in the halls of the sorority house, nicknamed “The House of GIFTS” after the initials of their sorority. Traditionally the “Fi” in their name is supposed to spelled with a “ph,” but then they would lose out on the acronym that was famous on campus.
Next to Pepper stood her right-hand-woman and best friend Mary, the 24-year-old physics major is dressed in a blue sundress, which ends at her thighs showing off her long luscious legs. Her dark hair is tied back in a bun and in her hands she hold a clipboard with all of the names of the pledges, colour coded to display which 10 of them will move on to the next stage of pledging, and which of them will be going back to their dorms to try again next year.
Mary handed Pepper a microphone and Tina, one of the sorority sisters sat at a soundboard, flipped a switch turning the microphone on remotely and allowing Pepper to address the dozens of anxious girls all hoping to join the sorority.
“Good morning ladies, I hope you all had fun at the party last night, I know it was hard on some of you, but a big thank you to everyone who stayed the whole night and helped keep our guests entertained.”
A low grumble could be heard from the crowd. Although nothing sexual happened, they still were felt up and groped by what felt like hundreds of drunken horny college guys, and not being allowed to drink hadn’t made things easier on these College freshmen.
The party last night was a test to see which of the pledges could follow some basic rules. Not all of the girls were unhappy with the night, 19 year old Makeup and Hairdressing student Leanne Davis, or “Lee” as she preferred, loved all of the attention she was getting, but the young party girl was metaphorically dying after the need to get drunk drove her crazy over the night. 20-year-old Philosophy student ‘Jade Jackson’ had a similar problem last night, she didn’t mind not being allowed to drink, but she lives for sex and not being allowed to take any of the guys up on their offers really got to her by the end of the night, her libido was so hot and rearing to go that some of the girls had expected her to jump a guy right there on the dance floor and fuck his brains out. The house they lived in was huge, some may even refer to it as a mansion, and with the girls being made to share with a roommate it allowed for a total of 68 sorority sisters to stay at “The House of GIFTS” with the House Mother bringing that total up to 69 residents inside the house. This usually made pledging for Gamma Iota Fi Tau a safe bet for the students who wanted to utilize all of the benefits the sorority was able to provide, such as covering a heavy portion of the tuition, low rent, meals cooked and served for you, and having access to a wide web of connections for all fields that were taught at the college and more.
The fact that this year so many more legacies, girls who have family members who are alumni to the sorority, chose to attend the College had taken the pledges by complete surprise and turned what was supposed to be a routine pledge week into a competitive minefield that has only been getting harder as the days go by.
“I know you’re all tired, so I’ll make this quick and call out the 10 pledges who will be moving on with their pledge and to still be in with a chance to claim one of the open spots. When I call you name please make your way over to the kitchen where Mary and I will come and talk to you after all of the names have been accounted.”
For dramatic effect Pepper chose to wait a little before announcing the first name. All of the pledges were collectively as quiet as can be; you could hear the rising heartbeats as tensions rose from the girls who would love nothing more than to join The House of GIFTS.
“Molly Brown,” she announced.
The young blonde started jumping up and down in excitement, making her easy to spot in the crowd. Then she began working her way through the crowd, with a slight skip in her step she politely asked the other girls to move so she could get to the kitchen door. She was wearing cut-off jean shorts that would have showed off her ass nicely if she had one, the halter-top she was wearing hugged her body perfectly, showing her figure through the fabric really highlighting her flat stomach under her double-D chest being supported by a sports bra.
After the kitchen door closed behind her Pepper read off the name of another pledge. “Rachel Miller.”
At the front of the crowd stood Rachel, the 20-year-old Philosophy major took a second to register her name being read, at the realization of it she still kind of paused and looked right to left to check if there might be another girl there with the same name as her.
She awkwardly stepped forward and feeling a little off balance made her way into the kitchen to join Molly. She was wearing a faded brown halter top, with loose fitting jeans and had her light brown hair down framing her face.
Pepper stood at the top of the stairs watching the nervous pledge struggle keep her balance as she walked the short distance to the kitchen, covering the microphone with her hand she turned to Molly and privately stated, “She’s definitely going to struggle with the first task tomorrow.” The two girls giggled for a moment before turning back to the crowd of girls, growing more and more anxious by the second.
“Lee Davis.” Pepper announced, staring straight at the bimbo blonde.

She wore a thick woolly turtleneck jumper and black skinny jeans, the glasses on her face adding a cuteness to her that made some of the girls in the crowd give a second glance as she strode past them with the posture of a girl who has been a contestant in many talent shows.
“Yukio Mas…uno?” Pepper tried her best to pronounce the name correctly of the Japanese exchange student, and the grateful smile on her face showed that she appreciated the attempt. The petite exchange student walked to the kitchen dressed in her gym attire, looking to get some time on the treadmill after the naming ceremony was over. The shorts she wore displayed the smooth skin on her elegant legs and the shirt she wore was loose fitting, but her perky breasts still managed to stretch it out a little.
Pepper felt a little awkward for stumbling on her surname, and that awkward moment lasted a little longer as the cute Asian track runner bowed before making her through the crowd to the kitchen. Pepper never had someone bow for her before and didn’t quite know how to react, a hesitant smile was all she could achieve. She looked back to Mary for support, only to see her friend smirking, holding back from laughing. “Oh shut up,” Pepper hissed at her, only causing Mary to lose the battle a release a small giggle at her friends expense, Pepper took it in stride and saw the humour in the moment too and bore a wide grin as she read off the next name, “Emma Hyles.”
The dark skinned physics major perked up at hearing her own name, being top of her class ever since grade school had gotten her very familiar with hearing her name called out in a crowd of her peers, and it looked like this was no different. She smirked at those around her, feeling like their superior as she made her way over to the kitchen door, her smugness earning her a fair share of piercing glares from the girls around her.
“Jade Jackson” Pepper chimed, and the sex addicted young Philosophy student jumped up and down in joy over hearing her name, thinking that it might actually have been worth it not fucking any of the guys groping her last night, the uniform from which she was still wearing.

Tensions were now rising in the crowd of pledges, only 2 names were left to be called out, and with there still being nearly 30 pledges left the anxious feeling was only growing more and more.
“Jess Green” Pepper called out, and a loud groan erupted from the crowd, some of the disappointed groans even coming from the kitchen. The spoiled rich kid that is the 19-year-old acting student ‘Jessica Green’ has developed a reputation as a completely vapid bitch who will do whatever it takes to help herself, but will do nothing to help someone else. The girl was easily the smallest one in the crowd, coming in barely taller than 5ft, yet despite that she had an attitude like everyone around her were the small ones and thus beneath her. The short spoiled brat acted all humbled and innocent while making her way through the crowd, but all of them had caught onto her act by this point and didn’t bother to move out of her way, there were sudden yelps from girls who were met with swift keys to the shin but Jess acted as though she didn't even realize she kicked them.
Once she was away in the kitchen, leaving the other 8 pledges to put up with her, the final name was ready to be called. The crowd of pledges were less thrilled about potentially being chosen because they would have to spend more time with Jess, but still the benefits they will receive from this sorority will be worth it, at least they hope they will be.
Pepper made a show of scrolling her finger down the list of names looking for the final girl to be accepted into the top 10, she already knew who it was, even if Mary’s helpful colour coding wasn’t there, she knew who to call out for. She was just stalling for time so she could try to rehearse the pronunciation of this pledges last name and not to have a repeat of the awkward moment with Yukio.
She finally relented and took a deep breath, she glanced at Mary who was smirking and waiting for the sorority president to try and pronounce the name of the Indian girl stood front and centre in the crowd of pledges.
“And the final pledge is,” she stalled for more time, “Okay here it goes… Alisha Bra… Brahm… Bam-butt.” The crowd erupted in laughter at the sorority president’s pronunciation; Mary had doubled over in laughter at the absurdity of how badly she messed it up.
Alisha, instead of joining the others in the kitchen, began walking up the stairs towards Pepper and Mary. Pepper was nervous at what the gorgeous Indian girl was about to do and hesitated for a moment and flinched slightly when Alisha reached for the microphone. Then the speakers sounded with her sexy accent as she simply read off her name, sounding out the syllables carefully for Pepper, “Alisha Bra-hmb-hatt.” She dropped the mic back into Pepper’s hand and walked back down the stairs and then into the kitchen.
Pepper and Mary shared a look, Pepper looking mortified, off balance, and embarrassed, while Mary was trying her hardest to compose herself, but the situation was so tense and awkward that she had a hard time stopping herself from laughing.
The two stood at the top of the stairs for a while as the rejected pledges filed out of the house of GIFTS and back to their dorms. Once the room was empty the two began walking down to the kitchen.
