But it won't be easy, with the death of Arthur Pendragon things are beginning to shift. Camelot's new ruler Constantine is far more ambitious and ruthless than his predecessor making many wonder how long the citizens of Camelot can retain their bohemian lifestyles. Dark forces once too frighted by the might of Pendragon to move against the city and it's people now make plans to remake the world in their own images. It is a time of transition a rise out of the dark ages into something new, but will it truly be a better civilization?
Yet these problems are the problems of great heroes and your first goal is to make something of yourself on your own terms. The choices are yours. Who will you be and what will you accomplish? Are you a common field worker, a disenfranchised noble or a newly civilized savage? Do you want to become a shopkeep, an artisan, a knight, a landowner, or something as of yet unheard of? The road ahead may be paved with the best intentions, but remember this, you are defined not only by your decisions but also by your environment and every moment has it's consequences.
Note: This is a work-in-progress subject to major changes in direction. For the time being it's meant to act as a fantasy sim based around different occupations one may adopt and the stories that arise in trying to work them. The historical details are not meant to represent the actual era of the legends and will focus more on typical fantasy stock fair as a basis. It's not really about lore for this project nor about a retelling or parody of Camelot myths directly. Instead it's about your character's personal journey (and sexual experiences) as you fight to survive and expand your prospects in a time of feudalism and magic.
