Two Genie Tales

A Last Request
Bill Brewer couldn't believe his eyes. In his fifty-five years of life, nothing
magical had ever taken place... until now.
He had just cleaned an antique lamp of the layer of dust covering it, and a
beautiful woman suddenly stood in front of him, appearing out of nowhere.
"So.... Let me get this straight. You, Bar-Bee, live in that lamp. When I call,
you will come and grant me anything I want, short of creation of life or death,
right?"
"Yes, master."
"Incredible! Such power... I wish I could have such power!"
"Oh, no master..."
But it was too late. The wind swirled around him and he screamed but his voice
was smothered by the hurricane force winds. When the winds died down, two
identical genies stood staring at each other.
Since there was no longer a master for the genies to obey, they returned to the
realm inside the lamp to await the next owner of the lamp.
The End?

A Girl And Her Lamp
"Hey, look, a funny looking lamp, Mommy..."
"Don't play with it, Cindy, you don't know where it's been!"
Cindy didn't care where it had been; she wanted to play with the funny lamp. So
she dusted it off and hid it under the jacket she had been wearing earlier, and
continued playing in the park. Later that night, while her Mommy was making
dinner, she uncovered the lamp and decided it needed a nice polish like when her
Mommy polished the silverware.
When her mother Pam wasn't watching, she took the bottle of polish out of the
cupboard and some paper towels and quietly carried everything to her bedroom.
She spread some polish on the lamp and started to smear it around with the paper
towel.
SUDDENLY, there was a bright light and smoke, and two pretty women stood before
her. Together, as one, they said, "We are Bar-Bee, Genies of the Lamp. Your wish
is our command!"
Cindy was frightened for a minute but when the two strangely dressed women
didn't do anything but stand in front of her, she calmed down and watched them
as they watched her. The two-grownup women seemed to be waiting for her to do
something.
She decided to invite her guests to a tea party.
"Would you like to play tea party... Ladies?"
"We are called Bar-Bee, not Lai-Dees"
"I'll call you Barb and you Bea, then. I wish you didn't look alike though, so I
won't mix you up." She pointed at Barb and said; "I think you would look nice
with blonde hair like my Mommy and me. And Bea would look nice with black hair
like my Daddy." There was a puff of smoke and her wish was granted. The twin
Genies now had opposing hairstyles.
Cindy took out an imaginary teapot and started to pour. Seeing the confused look
on the faces of her guests, she explained. I'm too young to make real tea, so we
have to have pretend tea. I wish I were old enough to give you real tea, though
that would be a lot of fun.
There was another puff of smoke and suddenly Cindy was holding a real teapot.
She almost dropped the pot with surprise as she realized there was now a table
with three teacups and saucers on it in front of her. She also felt a little
strange. She realized she no longer was looking up to the two women, but looking
straight into their faces. She looked down and saw the ground far below her like
she was standing on a couch and looking down to the floor.
She also saw two bumps sticking out in front of her like her Mommy's chest.
Mommie had told her she would get boobies like hers someday but she didn't know
any girls who had them until they were at least in grade school. She wasn't even
in kindergarten yet. Her bottom felt too big as well, and her hips were a lot
bigger. She looked in the mirror above her bureau and saw a pretty young woman
who looked a lot like her mother, but a little different.
"Aren't you going to pour the tea, Mistress?" Barb asked her.
Bea held out a cup to her. She picked up the pot and poured tea for them all.
"Why am I all growed up like my Momm... Mom, Bea?"
You wished you were old enough to have a real tea party and only grown up women
have those anymore. We made you as young as the youngest person who has thrown a
tea party in the past 5 years. But you look like your mother because you are
still her daughter, just older."
"Will I be a little girl again?"
"If you wish it so." both Barb and Bea said at the same time. Cindy laughed at
the musical sound of their voices in harmony. I wish my Mommy could play tea
party with us. She said she played it all the time when she was a little girl."
"So be it!" said the Genies.
The door opened and in walked Cindy's mother Pam, but she looked a little
different now. She was a little girl and she looked very confused. Cindy
recognized her despite her youthful appearance and ran and hugged her, squeezing
her against the motherly bosom she now possessed. Pam pushed her away a little
and stared at the big face to the grown up woman in front of her, who was so
affectionate towards her. The face was older, but a mother always knew her
daughter, no matter how much time had passed between them. Even if time itself
had passed the wrong way between the two of them. "Cindy..."
Pam looked around. "Why am I so tiny and how did you get so much older. And who
are these two twin girls with the.... hair?"
"They are Barb and Bea, Genies from the lamp, Mommy!"
She separated herself from her daughter and took her hand. "Why have you done
this to my daughter and myself?" she asked, waving her hands down her flat
childish chest and her daughters curvaceous form.
"All is as she has wished." Both said.
"She wished this?"
"We have done our best to grant her what she wished."
Pam thought for a moment and sipped some tea, spitting it back into the cup
after it displeased her childlike taste buds.
"Then she can undo it?"
"If that is her wish, we shall grant it."
She pulled Cindy's arm down until her face lowered enough to whisper in her
daughter's ear.
"All right Mommy, I'll try it. I wish Mommy and I were our real ages again, and
that Mommy, Daddy and me live long and happy lives ever after. Oh yeah, and I
wish you two would find another master...
And they all did.
