At that point I happened to notice I had a text on my phone.
Is everything ok? You hadn't moved much in the last 30 minutes or so?
I didn't reply back just begun walking in the direction of home again. After about 45 minutes of walking I made it to the woods on the side of the field closest to my house. The wooded area was short and once through it I would be back in an open field with a rather large subdivision to my left. I was in hopes that the distance coupled with the darkness was enough that no one in that subdivision could see me. I was pretty sure that if I could make it another ¾ mile, I would be in my back yard. I did have a bit more cover in this field as the grass was tall only an area about 20 feet from the fence was mowed and suitable for walking. I had made it maybe ¾ of the way across the back of the subdivision when a dog began barking. Just a few minutes later a light came on in one of the houses and then an outside light in the back came on. Some guy had a flashlight and was scanning the area near where I was with it so I dived into the tall grass so I couldn't be seen. I ended up having to stay there for a good 30 minutes as this guy wouldn't give in to the fact that he saw nothing and go back to bed. By the time I thought it reasonably safe to come out and continue walking it was almost daybreak. I was almost in sight of my house when it began coming daylight, and knew I needed to quicken my pace if I was going to make it without being caught by anyone else.
I was just walking into my back yard as it turned fully daylight. I stepped up on the porch and entered the house through the back door and was greeted by David carrying a dozen roses. I asked, ” Are those for me, David said, “Yes these are for the best and sexiest gurl any man ever had. Why do I get the feeling that even though I had a really wild night, the day was going to be much wilder?
