“Precisely I think I just wanted confirmation from someone who deals with fraud on a regular basis.”
“Look the case I am on has finished early as the defendant changed his plea. Would you like me to come in tomorrow and go through the accounts. You could present me as just another accountant.”
“What fee would you want?”
“None for this but if it gets to court do your best to get me engaged as counsel. I will have a head start which is always a help.”
That is what they did. Sal went over what had been done at afterwards when they were out of earshot gave her assessment.
“I think you have to sign off the audit there is nothing in the books to warrant doing otherwise but the whole lot stinks to high heaven. I notice that they are doing a lot of import/export to Russia and Eastern Europe. I have friends who will take an interest in this little lot. Would that salve your conscience?”
“If someone is looking further then yes. To be honest it would not be good for us to have to accuse our client of malpractice so having someone else do it when what we looked at is above board would be ideal.”
“You have one more day to finish don't you.” he nodded. “In that case I will come back with you tomorrow I noticed one things that I may be able to use.”
Whilst she was going through the books trying to find something a tall thin girl who was one of the accounts clerks came over looking very nervous.
“Can I have a private word with you.”
“Do you want to chat here or would you like to have a drink after work.”
“Yes please that would make me a lot happier than in here. Do you know the Swan down by the river its a bit of a walk but I would prefer nobody saw us.”
“Very wise, I'll find it.”
The Swan turned out to be a very nice old pub with a view out over the river. It would be gorgeous in summer but was quiet at the start of winter.
“Do you want a meal it will be my treat.”
“Ah you sure? The food is wonderful so I am told but far from cheap.”
“I can run to it auditors are better paid that account clerks.”
The girl whose name was Teresa was still nervous but came out with her story. Teresa had an attention for detail and even though she had only been working there six months had spotted that not everything seemed to get entered. Shipments were not recorded and thus never invoiced. When she had gone to her boss with an example he had provided a very complicated and plausible explanation. Unfortunately for him Teresa had been studying a distance learning course in the evening and knew enough to know that it was rubbish.
“I cant understand it because the company is losing money by it also everything is very neat and precise it happens quite frequently so cannot be a one of error.” Teresa Adam's apple bobbed up and down. “You do believe me don't you, I am sure something is wrong.”
“Oh I believe you I was brought in because a very suspicious mind thought the books were far too neat. Both you and he are right they smell to high heaven but how and what was hidden until now. You have earned your meal. By the way I am not sure how you do something about it but your Adam's apple is a give away.”
“Shit are you going to out me.”
“Certainly not. Even if you hadn't been honest and taken a risk in doing so its your own business. If it makes you feel happier I have two friends who are trans. One actually lives in my house with her wife.”

“Possibly an overstatement and a trifle of a generalisation but I agree to some extent. Tell you what I would guess you are not happy where you work at present.”
“No I hate it.”
“In that case I have some solicitor friends who I think may need a good accounts clerk.”
“Where are they based?” Sal told him and his face lit up because it was more convenient for his home than the import export firm was. A quick phone call to Crispin confirmed that one of the roles that they still had to recruit was indeed an accounts clerk.
“What your real name by the way?”
“Terry, that's why I chose Teresa so if I looked up if someone called Terry they would think it was a nickname.”
“OK Crispin the junior partner who handles recruitment is at home now and could interview you this evening. I could then drop you home. I have to say your chances are good and having seen your work I will act as a reference.”
“Wow thank you..” The interview was one of the quickset on record the fact that Sal approved of Terry's work plus a bit of basic information and that was it.
“Look Terry or would you prefer Terri. Your our kind of person everybody that works for us would really not want the world to know about our extracurricular activities. Take Quentin our senior partner he regularly sleeps with both my mother and also his secretary quite frequently together. Our other partner lives and has a relationship with two of our other female staff. I am going out with Sal's 'sort of' step daughter but happily go to bed with quite a few other lovely ladies including Sal. You get the idea? You may not want to join in any of our orgies and that's fine but we know we cam trust you to be discreet.”
“Wow you mean I might be invited to an orgy. I have a problem with girls if their lezzie they are not going to be happy once we take our clothes off and if straight they aren't interested.”

Terry gave his resignation in the next day but had to work his notice. However when he left he came with a bonus for Sal. The head of accounts had been careless and his email account and private area were downloaded on to a flash drive.
Sal thanked him before handing it over to Mark to work on. “You were taking a chance Terry getting this.”
“Not really the rest of the accounts team went off to the pub for lunch leaving me behind to hold the fort. If anyone else had come in It would look like I was just working. They hot desk so nobody has a specific desk. Silly idiot didn't lock his desktop.”
At that point Alex and Linda walked in accompanied by Margaret and Nicola. Sal decided now was a good time to introduce the, to Terry.
“Hi girls can I introduce you to Terry he is coming to work for Crispin doing there accounts. As you can see he likes dresses what you cant see is he also likes girls.”
“Our kind of guy, like the dress it suits you. Do you like girls one at a time of are you interest in more than one.”
“I just like girls the problem is whether they like me.” he stuttered.
“Leave the poor guy alone Nicki. Do you want to join us for a meal ,we are caterers and frequently end up munching the left overs.”
“Which I might add whilst no longer the exquisite looking things they started as taste a lot better than most restaurants can serve up.” added Alex. “By the way just so you know I am trans apart from my penis but the others are all girl. I know Crisp and Ella are at a party but where's Stancia?”
“Also at a different party with Quentin and Jennifer. Just me here tonight until Terry came around.”
They ate the plentiful remains and Terry relaxed Alex's comment had clearly helped him feel more at ease. Nicola clearly intended to make him feel more at home snuggling up to him. Sal decided to start things off by kissing Margaret. This worked and soon all three couples were kissing and shortly afterwards taking off there clothes.
Whilst not being obvious Sal glanced across at Terry whose body was totally hairless but otherwise that of a normal male. However his face was made up tastefully and he had long perfectly styled chestnut brown hair that most girls would desire.
Sal and Margaret were kissing and fondling but Margaret was clearly as keen to see how Terry and Nicola were getting on as well. “There are now suspicions of activity even more serious than fraud. Various agencies are now aware and are keeping a careful eye on them. I should emphasise that official secrets are involved so you shouldn't discuss this with anyone. When and if I can tell you more I will do so.”
“We chose the right person to talk to didn't we. Do all barristers have your level of contacts?”
“Not at my level but as you have surmised I have some interesting friends and acquaintances.” They were disturbed by Sal's son. Brian and Toby's daughter Melanie coming down the stairs which opened into the kitchen. Neither was fully clothed they saw a visitor and retreated quickly. Sal noticed that they were holding hands.
“Oh shit, they can't even be discrete.” said Heather
“Well Toby describes you as his partner so I assume your not married.” Heather nodded. “In which case in law there is nothing wrong they aren't legally step-siblings. As for me I really am not bothered. No that's not correct I am the kind if kinky cow who rather likes the idea.”
Heather was shocked at this last comment but also relieved. Sal told her more about some of the interesting and creative relationships of her neighbours. This was the point when Heather started getting horny Sal of course had been randy from the moment she was the young couple.
So how many of our neighbours are at it.”
“Well my household and Stancia just up the road. The farmhouse is being bought by Quentin who is shagging Stancia as well as his secretary who is nearly living with him. Of the other two houses one is being bought by a group from Quentin and Crispin's firm the other I am trying top persuade the third partner to buy. Finding out that you four are a bit naughty as well means that every house in the lane is going to be inhabited by us depraved types.
“The old dairy seems to be being converted into some kind of business purpose so we would have to be careful of them.”
“You would except it will be a business kitchen owned by two girls one of whom I was screwing last night. I warn you that you risk being corrupted further around here.”
