After coffee, ‘Ethel’ took Alans hand, and led him to her bed, it was not long till the nuns chorus, was playing to the empty drawing room, time and time again it repeated itself, along with a rendition of help me make it through the night which alternated and echoed through the quiet house till the early dawn!
