“Yes, continue,” Becca answered in a loud voice, her nervousness getting the better of her. She had never played a game that had this kind of starting setup before so she didn't know what to expect, and Kara hadn't mentioned any of this when she was explaining everything before.

“Before we begin creating your in game avatar you must first pick which server you would like to play on. This is a very important decision, as there are three different server difficulties and the decision you make cannot be undone unless you pay for a server transfer through our in game cash store. The difficulties we have available are Normal, Hard, and Sadistic. Each server is different from the other not only in the difficulty of combat and game play, but also in what they do and do not allow. Before I accept your request I must first make sure that you can handle the mental strain you may face within the game on this difficulty. Should I continue?” the voice now asked and this struck Becca as a little odd. How exactly was it going to test her mental readiness?

“Sure...” she answered and then suddenly all light within the vibrant green clearing was snuffed out and Becca found herself standing in complete darkness. She could still feel the ground at her feet and when she moved she could hear the grass rustling, but she couldn't see anything at all to tell her what was going on.

“Within a sadistic server on Rindr the common VR settings are increased to the maximum that is allowable by law. Rindr Online's goal is to give our players the most realistic experience possible within our genre and setting, and as such the feeling of pain, which is normally a dull tingle to notify the player that they have been attacked, has been increased to level three out of ten. Being punched or kicked will feel like you had been flicked very hard, and being cut with weapons will feel like minor paper cuts or other similar sensations. Also, the setting that tracks your feeling of fear and pain has been altered as well for this game. While you still can be forcefully logged out of the Portae system because of your increased heart rate and brain activity, the level at which that happens has been raised to allow a more realistic feeling when fighting monsters and enemies. With your consent I would like to give you a brief demonstration of what this will feel like in game, while at the same time I would be monitoring you to see if you meet the requirements to enter a sadistic level server. Would you like to continue?”

“Continue,” she forced out of her mouth with as much confidence as she possibly could, all the while Kara's warning was playing in her mind. It definitely sounded like the server she played on was a lot tougher than Becca had initially thought.

Immediately after the words left her mouth Becca felt like she was no longer alone in the darkness. There was something out there that was watching her, and she could feel its hungry eyes on her as if she could actually see them. Then, a few heart pounding moments later, the sound of something large and heavy began to move. It was like something was flapping powerful and massive wings through the air, and the sound reverberated all around Becca like it was coming from every direction. She turned left and right and tried to peer through the pitch black that surrounded her but she couldn't see anything at all, and this only made the fear that was beginning to build in her heart grow even more out of control.

Actually, it might be better to say that this was more like being in a nightmare, especially considering that VR in general had been called a form of lucid dreaming. So if that was the case then this was definitely a nightmare, and her fear began to prey on her mind as she trembled where she stood and tried not to piss herself.

It was when she didn't think she could take it anymore that death finally came for her. With another loud and terrifying roar that seemed to shake the ground Rebecca stood on the monster, which turned out to be a massive black dragon with blood red eyes, let loose a torrent of dragon fire as it strafed her from above. The entire area around her lit up with the orange colour of the flames and momentarily blinded Becca as she threw her arms over her face for protection; but it would do nothing against such a powerful attack like that.

Instead the flames washed over her body like a tidal wave and pain prickled at her senses. It was nothing like her brain had expected, but there was definitely still pain there. It was not the best feeling in the world and she really didn't want to feel that again if she could help it, but in the back of her mind she knew she could handle it easily. Rebecca quickly scrolled through the list of servers and located the one that Kara said she had played on. Besides, she doubted she would be raiding any time soon in this game, so she clicked on the server and then hit accept.

“Thank you for your selection. Please remember that within a sadistic server you are unable to skip defeat scenes nor are you allowed to skip escape scenes. Also note that item durability plays a much more important factor on this difficulty than on any other, and your equipment can be destroyed and lost permanently during combat or even stolen during defeat or enslavement scenes,” the voice announced and suddenly everything went dark around her. Your avatar will be the physical representation of you within the game and it will be how other players see and recognize you. There are many races and options to choose from, and once in game you can further customize your appearance through the use of items bought from the in game store for a small real money fee. However please note that if you are a male player you will have to purchase the option to create a female avatar. To do so please click the female gender icon to the right of the mirror, and the purchase will be billed to your account. Do not rush though, as unless you buy additional character slots from the cash store you are only allowed to have one. So choose wisely with every choice you get to make.”

Rebecca ignored the information about men having to pay for the ability to play as a female character, because she got that option for free as a woman. She did however find it interesting that they set it up that way though. Maybe it was to stop every single man from playing as a woman, maybe it was so it was easier to identify who the real women actually were, or perhaps it was simply because the company wanted more money. Either way thought it didn't really matter to her, and now her attention was on the amazing array of options she had open to her.

The first thing she had to do was pick her characters race, and at first her mind went to the lithe and nimble Wood Elves as her first choice. However, as her eyes roamed the list of available races, she quickly spotted one that piqued her interest even more; the Half Demon.

Unlike most of the other races, the Half Demon needed to be purchased with real money to unlock. However, it seemed that the race had some unique benefits that the other races didn't have, and these were what had interested Rebecca. Things like the ability to slowly heal HP (hit points) outside of combat, increased ability scores for magic and strength, and a handy little racial CD (cool down) that increased her total HP and damage done for a ten second window.

The cost to unlock the race was only fifteen dollars and before she even fully realized what she was doing Rebecca had already clicked on it and accepted the charge. And then, just like that, she had chosen her race and then moved on to choosing her gender; which had a few more options than what she was expecting.

Since this game was set in a fantasy world it took advantage of different genders and offered a choice for almost everyone out there, no matter what your inclination or sexuality happened to be. You had male, female, shemale, and hermaphrodite.

“Congratulations on creating your Avatar,” the voice said and it almost sounded like there was a smile hidden behind the words. “You are now almost ready to start your adventure in Rindr Online. The last thing you must do before entering the game is choose your sexuality, or the sexuality you wish to play your character as. Depending on what you choose you will have a slightly different experience than those that chose a different sexuality. As an example, should you choose gay as a male character you will rarely come across female enemies and monsters. If you choose bisexual you will come across both. Also note that scenes which may conflict with your chosen sexuality will not play, and instead your will be teleported back to the nearest inhabited and friendly location upon defeat. Now, which sexuality will you choose: straight, gay, or bisexual?”

“Uh... bisexual, I guess...” Rebecca said after a few moments of thinking. To be honest she had never been with a woman before, in both virtual porn or in real life, but she wasn't exactly against it. She was curious about what it would be like, and the idea of playing in a game like this and removing a gender from being able to take advantage of her didn't really seem right. It didn't feel very authentic. So right down the middle was probably the best for her; but she also did like that she could change it at a later time depending on her likes and dislikes or her mood.

“Thank you. Your selection has been noted and will be used until you change it at a later time. Now normally new characters would be placed in a tutorial village where they can get used to the game, the combat system, and how everything works, but for the players who choose to play on a sadistic server they have a different starting area to play through. This area is in keeping with the goal of this level of difficulty and you will face great challenges from the very beginning. So please be on your guard at all times and remember that this is just a game. I will now place you in the world. Have fun and good luck.”

Becca's vision went black and the sensation of being pulled through space hit her like a wave again. A few seconds later light, colour, sound, and smell touched her senses once more and she now found herself inside the world of Rindr for the very first time. She was standing in a large and cavernous cave tunnel, the walls hewn roughly from solid grey rock and a few torches flickering in sconces that had been hammered into them. Behind her was where she assumed the entrance had been, but instead of leading out into the world at large it had caved in by large and heavy boulders, trapping her inside with only one way forward.

Now the player HUD, or heads up display, flickered in her vision and she quickly located the red health bar and the blue mana bar that were at the top left of her screen, easily visible and in such high detail that only a single glance at it would tell her how much of each she still had. However that was really all there was. Since this was a VR game there was no real need to show anything else as it only cluttered the players vision. If something did need to be shown, like an invite notification or that she had received mail, it would appear when it needed to. There didn't even need to be a chat box either, as all talking was usually done in person. If a player wanted to talk to another player in private they could start up a private voice chat through long distance or a simple messaging system.

Thinking about that Rebecca quickly opened up the menu by clapping her hands and pulling them apart and then selected her friends list. It was empty at the moment but she now quickly opened the message Kara had sent to her device and then copied her character name out of it and into the friends list. Now the name, which happened to be the same one from their other game, appeared in bold blue letters telling her that she was online. However when Becca tried to click on the name to open a voice channel she got an error message saying that Kara was currently in the middle of a defeat scene and could not be reached via voice.

That kind of sucked, but the she quickly realized that if she was currently being raped instead she really wouldn't want someone else's voice suddenly in her head. It would kind of ruin things.

With that taken care of Becca now turned her attention back to her surroundings and her inventory. Looking down she found that she was currently wearing a suit of rugged and beaten up looking metal armour that covered her torso, arms, and legs, and on her hip she had a short metal sword that had cuts and dents in the blade. Then, opening up her inventory through the game menu she confirmed what her eyes had seen, and at the same time learned that she had also been given one healing potion, one mana potion, and one cure potion. Other than that she had nothing, not even any in game currency.

She now closed down her inventory and looked down the long cave tunnel as a lump formed in her throat. The game had warned her that players on this type of difficulty would not get the normal starting area, but she hadn't thought that they would be tossed into the middle of dungeon like that. It kind of sucked, but with the exit behind her blocked she knew that she would have to go further into it to find another way out. So that's exactly what she did when she took her first step forward.

As soon as her foot hit the ground a new text window popped up in front of her with a bit of a back story on what had happened and where she was. It turned out that she had been hired by a local village chief to head to this cave to kill a group of kobolds that had taken up residence and had been attacking travellers. However once she got into the cave the ground and walls began to shake by something from deep within it and the entrance collapsed behind her. Now her only option was to find the kobolds leader and kill him, hoping that there was another cave opening somewhere along the way.

It didn't really give her much more information that she had already figured out on her own, but now at least she knew what she was up against. So she closed the window by crushing it between her hands and then grabbed the hilt of her sword. Feeling the weight of it filled her with a little more confidence and she now strode deeper into the cave in search of her target and the way out.

About a hundred feet forward she came to a turn that led left and into a large and cavernous room. Peeking around the corner she then spotted three small brown skinned creatures standing around a fire that they had built in the middle of the room. They were all bald and naked from head to toe, with long and pointed noses and beady little yellow eyes that glimmered slightly in the light from the fire. Their faces were also slightly sunken and they were so thin and frail looking that Rebecca could count some of their ribs from where she was standing. However, despite looking like easy prey she knew that they were dangerous, and the blood covered meat cleavers and daggers they carried backed that knowledge up.

Slipping back behind the corner Becca quickly opened up the menu again and clicked on the abilities tab to see what she had been given to start with. Sadly the list was empty, meaning she had no special attacks or even any magic that she could use for this fight. She would have to rely entirely on basic attacks and her own skill as a player. That didn't pose too much of a problem for her though. Rebecca had been playing VRMMO's for a few years now and was even one of the top damage dealers, or dps, in her raiding guild. If she couldn't handle three little kobolds on her own then this game would be impossible for anyone.

Now she pulled her sword from the hard leather scabbard attached to her hip once more and then peeked around the corner again. The kobolds hadn't moved since she last looked so there were no surprises waiting for her, which meant she probably still had the element of surprise. So she took advantage of that and rushed in as quickly as she could, clearing the distance in three seconds and bringing her sword down on the head of the kobold closest to her. With a sickening crack the little monster fell in a lifeless heap just as a small bar appeared over his head, the red bar of his health quickly falling until there was none of it left.

That wasn't so hard, she thought to herself. Wasn't this supposed to be the hardest difficulty? If it kept up like this she didn’t' think she would ever get to experience a defeat scene.

Then again she was up against multiple attackers, and in the time after her first attack they had sprung into action on both sides of her. Out of the corner of her eyes she spotted one rushing towards her left flank, it's meat cleaver held up above it's misshapen and bald head as it aimed right for her. Now Becca was forced to pivot to the side to avoid it and then brought down her own weapon on its neck, catching it with a glancing blow that depleted half of its life in one shot. However that momentary victory was quickly shattered when something hard and sharp suddenly smashed into her other side, and looking over she found the second kobold standing there with its dagger stuck into her ribs.

Rebecca kicked off with her right foot and jumped backwards, holding her hand over where she had been stabbed as a small amount of pain flooded her brain. It wasn't that big of a deal, but the suddenness of the attack and the sensation of being hit was unsettling, and once more reminded Rebecca that she was not playing a typical game. No wonder Kara had warned her about this difficulty, you could really lose yourself in your character and what was going on. Getting defeated and raped mercilessly would not be a simple walk through the park, even if it was in a totally safe environment and nothing actually physically happened to her.

Having gained enough distance from her attackers Becca now pulled her sword to the side of her body and crouched a little on her feet, putting as much weight and strength into them as she could. Then, as her foes now turned back towards her and got ready to charge her once more, she launched herself forward and brought her sword to bear in a sweeping arc that sliced through the weakest one like butter. Her attack didn't stop there though and she now turned her wrist and lashed out at the last remaining kobold with all of her strength, hitting him square in the chest with the tip of her blade and punching in through his ribs.

Both kobold bodies dropped to the ground in a heap at the same time and now a notification that she had gained forty-five experience towards sword abilities appeared in her vision for a second before disappearing. Looking up slightly showed her that she had taken seven points of damage to her health, bringing her total from one hundred down to ninety three. That wasn't all that bad for her first experience, and as long as she remembered to keep her eyes on everything going on around her she would be fine.

Now she looked back down at the three bodies at her feet and inspected them closer, looking for anything to indicate that they had dropped some loot for her. Sadly she didn't see any indication; no sparkling or glowing and no scattered items or currency had landed near them. So that was a bust. However she did get her very first look at what she might have to deal with should she be defeated in the cave when she caught sight of their flaccid penises. They honestly weren't anything to write home about as they were probably only about five inches long and pretty thin. There was no way this could be the right one. It wasn't even hard. In fact it was a breeze! Or at least that's what she thought until she came to what appeared to be the final room and found something more daunting waiting for her: six kobolds and a large and fat green orc with a magical staff.

The orc seemed to be the kobolds leader and he waved the wooden staff around as sparks shot out of the tip at random intervals, scaring the kobolds and forcing them to scurry away until they were roughly called back and yelled at in a language that Rebecca couldn't understand.

Up until this point she had only had to take on three monsters at the most, but now they were suddenly asking her to kill seven on them at once. That definitely didn't seem very easy and she now knew for sure that there was no mix up and that she was indeed on the right server. Thankfully everything up until this point had been easy enough that she didn't have to use her one healing potion, because it was definitely going to come in handy for this fight. If she had any hope of surviving she would need to kill off the kobolds as quickly as she possibly could and then focus the larger and stronger looking orc. His ability to cast magic had her a little worried, but she had dealt with magic casters in her previous game and knew that once she got in close she had the advantage.

Still, even though she had a plan and had some experience in situations like this, Rebecca couldn't help but be a little afraid. Being hit by one or two kobolds sucked, but getting hit by six, plus getting hit by spells from the orc all at the same time was not something she wanted to put herself through. She didn't really have a choice though. If she wanted to get out of this cave she needed to get through them, so she did her best to swallow her fear and steady her sword hand and then leapt into action.

The minute she entered the room the monsters turned and spotted her, destroying whatever surprise she might have once had. The kobolds quickly rushed towards her as they pulled out their small and rusty looking weapons and now the orc raised his staff high into the air and began to chant a spell. Becca ignored the orc and his spell for the moment though and focused all of her attention on the six little bastards in front of her. She jumped towards them and slashed her sword in front of her in an arc, catching two of them in the chest and killing them in an instant. Sadly the other four managed to jump or roll out of the way and had been spared the same fate, and now they came back at her with evil glints in their yellow and beady little eyes.

One of them tried to stab her in the side with a rather dull looking blade but she blocked it with her own sword and then kicked out with her foot, catching him in the chest a moment before she brought her sword down on his skull and finishing him off. She then cut out at another one that had gotten too close and caught him in the throat, felling him instantly as well, leaving only two left to deal with as the orc continued to chant his spell; whatever it was.

However before Rebecca could turn her attention to her last two enemies she was suddenly blindsided from behind as two very sharp objects hit her in the small of her back and caused her to stumble forward and grunt in surprise and pain. Her health bar dropped by sixteen at once and flashed in the upper left corner of her vision, bringing her attention to it even though she had already been looking. Still, fifteen wasn't too bad and, pushing the pain and fear from her mind, she turned back to the two little bastards that had just hurt her and brought her sword up in front of her.

“You'll pay for that you asshole,” she growled as every muscle in her body now tensed and readied for her next attack; one that cut them both down with relative ease.

With that taken care of she now turned to face the orc who, for some reason, was still chanting his spell with his staff high up in the air. This was definitely a powerful spell and Rebecca needed to kill the bastard before it managed to cast it, so she quickly ran at the orc and aimed to run her sword through his large and round belly.

Only that didn't happen.

Instead of rushing him and hitting him with the pointed end of her sword she suddenly ran into some kind of invisible barrier and the sensation of having just run through some spiderwebs travelled along her nerves, up her spine, and then tickled her brain as all energy and strength suddenly left her muscles. She quickly fell forward onto her knees as her sword clattered nosily from her now unmoving finger tips, disarming her and leaving her completely at the mercy of the orc wizard.

She couldn't believe how stupid she was! She just ran head first into a barrier spell, one that apparently paralysed the target instead of just tossing them away and doing a little bit of damage. She should have realized that's what the orc was up to when he just kept chanting a spell without actually casting anything! To hold a barrier in place the caster needed to constantly repeat the spell and spend mana, but Becca had been too preoccupied with the kobolds to care! Now she was paying for it.

She tried her hardest to move even a finger, but the best she could do was wiggle it a little bit as the paralysed symbol flashed on her HUD and counted down from one minute. That was not enough time for her though, as the orc now dropped his invisible barrier and then walked towards her, his large stomach wobbling with each hobbled step and his dirty loincloth swaying back and forth, giving Becca a view of his big and warty cock every once in a while.

The orc quickly reached her and then knelt down in front of her, his disgusting stench muted slightly by the Portae system. He now brought his staff in front of them and chanted a new spell, this one quicker than the last, and then a hard iron collar appeared in his hands, a small loop of forged metal on the front of it that reminded her of where you hooked a leash up to on a dogs collar. He now opened it from the back and fit it around Becca's neck as she struggled in vain to try and fight him off, and once the cold metal touched her skin and clicked closed loudly a new chill ran down her spin and her stomach began to churn. The orc quickly stood up and admired his handy work, muttering something in a guttural language that had no meaning to Rebecca. Then, with quick reflexes and some strength the orc lashed out with his fist and punched her right on the side of the face, catching her in the cheek as new pain exploded to life in her body and mind. He then turned back to the wall he had been standing near and bent down to pick up a long and strong looking metal chain that was attached to it, something that Becca hadn't noticed earlier.

It didn't take a genius to figure out what he was going to do with it and now Rebecca struggled even harder to move. She couldn't let this happen! She had already been collared but she refused to be chained to a wall for this monster to do with her as he wished! No! She had to break free! She had to pick up her sword and kill this ugly bastard before he went any further!

The orc stepped towards her once more, the chain rattling nosily on the ground as he went. Rebecca struggled with everything she had, willing her body to obey her commands as her fingers now touched the hilt of her sword. She strained and fought until it felt like she was going to pass out, but it had worked! The spell she had been hit with fell from her body and now she had total control, allowing her to pick up her sword and lunge forward with every bit of strength and willpower she had.

She managed to catch the orc wizard off guard and shoved her sword through his shoulder, sending him toppling over backwards as she fell directly on top of him. She wasn't done there though. Now she pulled her sword free and brought it above her head before smashing it down on the ugly green face of the bastard who had tried to enslave her, killing him with two blows as text appeared before her eyes telling her that she had just gained more experience towards her sword skill and one hundred points towards her escape skill.

For a long moment Rebecca just sat there on top of the dead orc, panting heavily and trying to gather her thoughts. She had been so close to losing and it had scared her so much that she was a little stunned. Especially considering that's why she had joined this game in the first place. This whole game was about losing and getting raped by strange monsters with even stranger and larger cocks. She was stuck with this now until she could find some way to get it off, and now she hoped that Kara managed to get out of her enslavement so she could help her with that.

She had decided that she was going to check her friends list to see if she could contact Kara on voice chat, but a second before she could she was suddenly caught by surprise as the walls, roof, and floor of the room she was standing in suddenly shook violently and the sound of something banging against the wall ahead of her echoed throughout it. It banged once, twice, and then three time as dust and small chunks of the ceiling began to rain from above causing her to cough, and now her fear once more flowed through her body.

Then suddenly, with one more loud crash and tremor, the wall exploded open and bright sunlight expanded into the room, a very noticeable shape blocking it out from the very center. Holding her hands above her eyes to filter out some of the bright light Rebecca peered at the large hole and felt her knees almost buckle as she got her first real glimpse at what had been trying to get in: a full grown minotaur. It stood around ten feet tall and was covered in thick brown hair and muscles that could be seen through it. He had hooves for feet and his head was like that of a bulls, with a long snout and large nose, two red and glowing eyes, and two very sharp looking horns that pointed out from his head. In short it was the most terrifying thing Rebecca had encountered so far and she visibly shook where she stood.

However once it appeared she was hit once more by the minotaur, and now the potion flew out of her hand as she was sent flying backwards once more and all she could do was watch it as the small glass vial full of red liquid exploded on the ground and was destroyed.

Not that it would have helped her though, as the second hit from the minotaur depleted what little health she had left and now she slumped to the ground as her body suddenly became weak.
