(Eddie) I want to thank Sapphire for first giving me a place on the net. And
to Robo, Super Hero, Mindy, and everyone else who achieves my stories.
(SteveZ) Eddie, I know there are a lot of still being worked on. Do you
have any major new ideas getting ready to pop up on us?
(Eddie) At the moment I'm working on a few new superhero stories and one
or two other tales.
(Sapphire) Can you tell us about them?
(Eddie) The main one I'm working on now is "Mistrealms". It was a novel I
tried to pitch. but it flopped at DAW and Tor, so I'm thinking of posting it
here.
It's mainly about America becoming a land of magic shrouded in mists that
cut off the outside world.
(Sapphire) Eddie, You write a LOT of comic based stories, what comics do
you read yourself?
(Eddie) Avengers, JLA, Spidey, Superman and Titans. I read most of DC's
and Marvel's mainstream comics. Ranma 1/2, Supreme and a few other
independents.
(PJ) Eddie, comic book characters seem to be a perennial favorite among
the authors. What's the particular fascination for you?
(Eddie) I like the whole striving against impossible odds thing. Fighting the
good fight even when everything looks bleakest. Thus I love comics!
(PJ) I guess that is a rather "resonant theme", isn't it? ;)
(Eddie) Yeah, I tend to place them in these impossible situations where
even the greatest powers mean little.
(*Anne-Mal) Like you're fighting the good fight here tonight!
(Eddie) Exactly! :)
(PJ) That's a very good justification for your interest. Thank you.

(Katie) What are your favorite television shows, not on WIZ-TV?
(Eddie) I love "Honey I Shrunk the Kids", "Weird Science", "Hercules",
"Xena" and "Star Trek".
(Katie) Have you considered stories based in those settings?
(Eddie) I have done "Star Trek" and "Herc/Xena" stories. I do like the idea
of doing one with Wayne and his clan, thanks for idea! I'm brainstorming.
(Katie) I wondered what you thought of "Quantum Leap", because some of
your stories have that type of humor.
(Eddie) I loved "Quantum Leap", never missed it when I was in college! I
like anything with dry humor.
(Katie) Always figured on seeing "The Brady Bunch" in a story line
someday. Exactly on with the dry humor observation.
(Eddie) "Gilligan's Island" would be first, I used to love it!
(Ellie) Do you ever posted to a Ranma or other fan fiction sites?
(Eddie) I did post an X-Men fan fiction called Silver Rage, it has little TG
though.
(Ellie) Have you ever written any Ranma fan fiction?
(Eddie) I've yet to write any Ranma stories, although I'd like to. Originally
Ranma was part of "Timeripper".
I'm a big fan, I collect the Ranma comics religiously! I would like to do one
though, it seems like my kind of lunacy! :)
(zhaoming) Could you describe your self "body image"?
(Eddie) Whoops! I'll answer this. I'm pretty big, but I consider myself in
some sort of shape, mostly round! :)
(*Anne-Mal) A big bre...., belly?
(Eddie) I'm happy with my body image though, husky is what I consider
myself.
(zhaoming) Just wondering if that had anything to do with the fiction genre
you've chosen? Kinda personal, thanks for answering!
(Eddie) No problem. I really have no desire to be a woman, but the field
fascinates me. The transforms are so cool! I've always liked TG and BE
transforms, I'm a pig. A nice pig though! :)

(Sapphire) Eddie, you use plots FULL of many different characters, being
changed lots of times. How do you keep track of who is what? Do you use
charts?
(Eddie) I re-read the old parts before I do a new section and keep them
handy as I write. I've caught myself a few times messing up though. I like
to spread the scenes around you might say, moving the action around to the
players. The hardest was the GBA story, I did have to make a sheet to keep
track on that one.
(Sapphire) Do you plot ahead?
(Eddie) Sometimes. Mostly it is on the fly, but I do get inspired sometimes.
Once an idea gets into my head it rattles around until I write it.
(SteveZ) Eddie, is there any chance of you ever revisiting "Babewatch"? I'd
love to see it spread all over the various universes.
(Eddie) I plan on "Babewatch 3".
(Sapphire) Goody, goody, goody!
(Eddie) I think it might spread to DC, since they have some of those
characters now. I will return Diaboliue to her bad old roots though.
(SteveZ) Great, my favorites!
(Peppy_) Eddie, Is the there any particular order in which to read your
Superhero stories? It's kinda hard to keep up with them when you're doing
two at once!
(Eddie) Yeah, I'm sorry about that.
(Peppy_) No problem. Just keep up the great work!
(Eddie) I tend to write them when I get an idea for a part. "New World" is a
continuation of "Universal Collision". "Winner Takes All" was a sequel to
"Reversal Of Fortune". The "Onslaught" series started with "Onslaught
Lives", I think.
(SteveZ) Eddie, the stories that I write don't follow exact timelines, with the
characters meeting up that wouldn't in the actual comics. Do you think that
is a problem?
(Eddie) No. I just like to do them in continuity. I like your stories though
Steve.
(Wanda) Eddie, there are a lot of new writers in the room. Aside from
saying write, write, write what advice can you give them?
(Eddie) Well, I'd say think of something around you, a movie or a story you
liked, and think about what you'd do if you were in charge. I watched
movies and to get brainstorms off them, even when they weren't TG. That
was when I first started writing. "Timeripper" being the very first story I
ever put on paper, I got the idea from Kang in Marvel Comics.
(*Anne-Mal) You have an archive on Sapphire's Place. Yet, it seems that it
is never updated. Is there a reason?
(Sapphire) My Fault!
(Eddie) Sapphire updates it when she can.
(*Anne-Mal) Oh dear! That is not what I expected!
(Eddie) I flirted with the idea of doing a homepage with my stuff linked,
but I'm a computer idiot on HTML.
(SteveZ) Eddie, with the way DC is messing with the Batgirl character, do
you think they screwed it up by making her an invalid all those years ago?
(Eddie) Yes. I thought it was for mere shock value.
(SteveZ) Seems like the animated version is what got her going again.
(Eddie) Yeah, I like the Batman cartoon series. The Batgirl is the old
Barbara Gordon version.
(SteveZ) They botched her up bad in the movie.
(Eddie) Batman and Robin stunk! They butchered Bane!
(SteveZ) Big time! Poison Ivy was best part of that one.
(Eddie) I think they wanted to sell cheesecake, not talent.
(PJ) Eddie, do you derive your inspiration from characters or plotlines?
Which comes first in your stories?
(Eddie) Plotlines seem to be my main focus. I like to flesh out characters,
but rarely do as good a job as I could. I end up trying to outdo my last
cliffhanger ending. I should spend more time on certain characters, like
James in GBA, but I tend to get into the plotline and try to move it a lot
faster.
(*Anne-Mal) We are getting near the hour mark, so everyone say

(Eddie) For some reason I let it sit. At least Elrod did a cool "WizTV" story
in my absence.

(Ellie) What other stories are you working on?
(Eddie) I'm doing new "Name Game" tonight and maybe the start of "GBA:
Another Sequel".
(Sapphire) Isn't about time "Brox" showed up too?
(Eddie) "Brox" will be up soon.
(Ellie) Do you think that requests for sequels get in the way of doing new
ideas?
(Eddie) Yeah, but I like doing them. I still have tons of new stuff in my
archives that are written out on paper. My old ideas tend to work their way
into new stories. Thus the magical mayhem of GBA.
(*Anne-Mal) As someone who is a part of Fictionmania and TSA, do you
see any differences in the two?
(Eddie) I've been booted from TSA's mailing list twice, Fictionmania has
never booted me off without asking me! :)
(*Anne-Mal) Any reason?
(Eddie) Nope. Some technical reason I was told. The TSA was my start,
but I feel more at home now with TG. I do still love stories by certain AR
and Furry authors there though.

(elrodw) Is it hard for you to find as much magic in a sequel as in the
original?
(Eddie) Yeah, the idea has been run through, so I try to be original in the
new situations. Think up new enemies that are a lot different or shake up
the happy endings! :)
(elrodw) Yeah, but with new enemies. I always found that the danger of the
Star Trek's 'Save the Universe Again', brings boredom.
(Sapphire) Eddie, while you write stories with huge plots, others such as
Leeson or Waldo, write about one person. Have you tried to write more
"intimate" stories?
(Eddie) I've never been very good at it. I've been asked to on more than one
occasion, maybe in the future. I tend to have so many ideas that I like big
casts to play with and transform!
(Sapphire) And you do it VERY WELL!
(Eddie) But I tried in the novel I'm working on.
(Carrie_g) Eddie, how important was it to be taken under Sapphire's wing
when you started out?
(Eddie) It was vital. In a way it was big for my own ego, that someone liked
my stuff enough to post them. Before that I'd been snubbed by TSA on
more than one occasion and I wondered if I should keep on writing. I like to
think I've flourished since! :)
(paul) I never knew you got snubbed on TSA!
(*Anne-Mal) While Thomas Hassan is a gracious host, are TG stories
welcome by members of the TSA now that FM is here?

"Babewatch".
(Mindy) What drew you to "New World"?
(SteveZ) The good transforms of DC characters. Another goodie for me
was GBA!
(Sapphire) I think my favs are "Mudd" and "Genies Life"
(Mindy)I just want to own the bra company for his characters, the extra
material requires a special higher price!
(SteveZ) I'll bet Eddie had a hand in designing the wonder-bra!
(Mindy) No, they designed them so that other women who envied his
characters could keep up, so to speak.
(Eddie) I'm back!
(SteveZ) Eddie was the target of two different photo morphs that I've seen.

of 4F's Vipers.

(Sapphire) I think Eddies rep for bimbos is overdone. SRU creates more
bimbos per stories then Eddie does.
(Mindy) True, but it has become his moniker.
(Sapphire) His characters may look the part, but Bill's become the part!

(*Anne-Mal) Have you ever written with anyone else?
(Eddie) Fred on the "Onslaught" stories. Joe on "Hercules/Xena". Robin
and I have been trading partners for about two years.
(Mindy) Sapphire has made the comment that the bimbo, large breasted
women moniker, is not really true with your stories. How do you feel that
that has been linked to you?
(Eddie) For the most part it doesn't bother me. I do get annoyed when
people diss all my stories with that tag though. Most of my characters don't
become mindless nymphos. I like large breasts, hence my BE fascination,
but I also like intelligent women. It has become almost a stereotype these
days for me. I just hope people don't read my stories just on account of that.
(*Anne-Mal) Could it be all the 'inventions' that you have made in your
stories?
(Eddie) The Bimboizer or the Channel Changer? :)
(*Anne-Mal) Those are the two that come to mind!
(Eddie) Yeah, they were the ones that most people remember! :)
(SteveZ) Eddie, what are you stronger on, DC or Marvel?
(Eddie) Marvel, easily.
(SteveZ) I'm glad, my strong point is DC. I gave up on Marvel because of
the poor art.
(Eddie) I read more Marvel, thus I know their continuity better.
(Sapphire) Better then some at Marvel!

(Eddie) Nothing major. We just had a different view of which way the story
should go with the Titans, for a short time we got pretty heated over it, now

I seem to lose most of my partners though Steve! Joe left during the
"Herc/Xena" story for the military.

(Eddie) I'm usually pretty easy going. I just like someone telling me to do it
this way or no way.

hanging?
(Eddie) I don't like it honestly. My stories are mine, I feel kind of violated
when someone takes a my story.

(Eddie) I was saying I don't like the stories ending by others, if they ask I
might be willing.
(Sapphire) Have your non-net friends or family ever read your writings?
(Eddie) My best friend in Kansas City ran across my stories on Sapphire's
page and liked them! He thought it was funny to see me with my own
stories. Two of my girlfriends, one who nearly became a fianc?, both read
my stuff.
As for my relatives, I let them think what they will. My parents and
brothers get a chuckle out of it.
(Sapphire) Good for them! And yet you use your real name?
(Eddie) I don't like using a net name, having my name as the author is
something I always dreamed about as a kid!
