As Luke Jett sat before his work table, he pulled open a drawer and took
out a gun. As he sat in his red Federation City High School graduation
gown, he turned on his television and began to flip through the channels.
One channel had Highway to Heaven; one channel had the movie Angels
In The Outfield, one channel talked about the gender wars, and the third
channel was running the television show Out Of The Blue.
After he took off his pants, he slipped the hose off his legs and bundled it
into a ball before taking off his graduation gown. Ever since he started

He then slipped into a pair of briefs and pulled out a pair of male socks

As Luke finished getting dressed, he went downstairs and found his

As Lesley lead Luke to his bedroom with its sea green rug, they got out
some paint and redid the blue walls pink. Lesley then replaced his bed
sheets with a spare pair of hers from the closet and realized for the first
time just how feminine her son's room really looked.
"It'll be touch shopping for new stuff." Lesley said as she put some make
up over by the vanity and imagined the stand up wardrobe filled with
dresses and heels. The mall and costume shops should fill you with bras,
pantyhose, tanks tops and shorts. "I probably should have seen this coming
when it was cheaper to buy you dresses as a kid to cover all of you instead

"What do you think, honey?" His mom said as Luke turned around with
his mouth dropped open. He was totally speechless as his mom walked up
to him. He closed his mouth and smiled.
"Th- Thanks." Like said in tears. "But this is all such a surprise. I never
dreamed that you'd act like this. I always dreamed you'd banish me to the
scorched wastelands with the mutants."
Wiping away the tears, Luke watched as his mother pulled out some of the
boxes of clothes she had out grew and pulled out a pretty purple silk top
with blue jeans and black leather boots. "Why don't you try this on and
then come downstairs, Linda."
Luke only nodded as he took the outfit and watched his mother leave.
Taking to the bathroom, he hung it up behind the door and put his old
clothes in the hamper. He then stepped into this telephone booth-like
machine and pressed a button marked wax. A wax liquid designed to
remove body hair but not the hair on top of one's head poured over him
and dissolved the little body hair he had.
After all the hair was removed, he pressed shower and washed the wax off.
He took out a pair of new panties and a padded bra. He slipped into a pair
of white hose and found they felt much better with his hairless legs.. He
stepped into the blouse and pants and looked at himself in the mirror.
He did a little twirl around and watched it define a new figure. He liked

Luke's mom giggled. "Wish your dad could see you now." She said as she

"I know." His mother smiled. "But I made arrangements for you to start
hormones tomorrow and start collage Monday. That will give you the

After dinner time, he was laying on his bed in his new lace trim night
gown and sticking cotton balls between his toes. He then dabbed purple
polish on each of the toes before stretching out and letting them dry while
he was watching TV. Rolling over, he noticed E-MAIL flashing on the
computer screen.
"Computer, read the E-mail!" Luke's voice echoed into the room.
"Linda, this is your Aunt Jane." A hologram of a middle aged woman with
dark curly hair appeared in the middle of the room. "I always knew your
mother was making a mistake with buying you dresses. She wouldn't listen
to me. What ever you decide to do with you life, your family is behind
you. End broadcast."
The next day, Linda hit the shower and tried on her new school uniform.
While her mom finished her coffee and reading the paper, Linda came up
behind her mother and breakfast and gave her a surprise hug. She helped
her mom fix sausage and eggs before sitting in a white leotard, blue mini
skirt and red go- go boots.
She then headed down the hall to the bathroom, unhooking her bra and
removing her breast forms while she walked. She climbed into the bath,

the college staff. She got you a try out for the squad Monday afternoon.

"Certainly." The employee said as Luke sat down and took off her slippers.

did them myself." Luke smiled as she got a pair of dress pumps, a pair of
slides, eyelet tie shoes, a pair of sling back pumps, T straps, and some
sandals. She liked a pair of dress flats best. Luke and her mother
continued to walk through the mall until they came across a clothes store.
Once inside, her mother went crazy pulling items off the racks and
stacking them in Luke's arms. She then asked her to go to the changing
room and try them on. She couldn't wait until she saw what she looked like
in them.
As Luke went to change between outfits she heard several voices telling
his mother what a lovely daughter she had. How good she looked in some
of the outfits she tried on. That made Luke feel all warm inside. She
couldn't help but crying and wondering if his mood swings had anything to
do with the hormones she took when she got out of bed. She did her best
to stop crying since she didn't want to ruin her make up. Once the outer
outfits were bought, she needed the type of bra and panties that
weresupposed to feel good against one's skin all day long. A cute bra and

When the girls got home, Luke had a message on her answering machine.
As she picked up the phone, a hologram of Amy appeared. "Leah, Sandra

"Sounds like I'm going to have fun." Luke thought as a shiver ran up her

mother a hug before taking her packages upstairs. She used her own phone
to accept the invitation to the sleepover.
"When you're done unpacking you can help me clean the house." Luke's
mother said as she nodded. She always like helping his mother out and
found dusting and vacuuming to be more of a pleasure than a chore--

Luke's mother leaned against the kitchen counter in a green sports bra an
camouflage shorts. She got Luke to help clean behind the fridge and other

him that World War 3 was called the Gender Wars or Battle of the Sexes.
Things went out of control when the first female running for American
president was killed. Fights started breaking out between husbands and
wives until some jerk depraved of sleep and exhausted pushed a silo
button. The nukes were launched and the world as it was once known was
over. Of course these days American- man and his band of rebels protected
the world from letting anything like that happen again.
"You need milk." The fridge computer spoke. Luke got up and headed
down to the super market with Christine Jackmarr, who was dressed in a
pink sleeveless dress and two inch sandals with straps across her nude
hose feet. A gold chain wrapped around her stocking ankle. "What are you
doing here?" Luke asked.
"Soto and I are just picking up some watermelon." Chris said with a smile.
"Better than eating rats in the wasteland like a bunch of mutants. Besides,
Soto and the boys need to pick up some hologram videos to watch while
we're at the slumber party."
Luke spent the slumber party in Amy's room putting on a mini fashion
show. The girls all clapped as they sat in a semi circle. Amy had on green
pajamas, Jendra wore pink and white dotted pajamas, Sandra a red night
shirt with a teddy bear on the front, Starshine in purple and white polka
dots, Leah in Sailor moon pajamas, Chris' night gown looked like the
American flag and her and Starshine's friend, Linda wore yellow two piece
pajamas.
They had popcorn and did each other's hair and nails in different colors.
They played hologram tapes of Sailor moon, Dragonball Z and even
Gundam Wing because of the cute guys on the show.
Luke joined the girls in having some treats and Linda mentioned to her
that her African American friend was a doctor and could perform the
surgery Luke needed to become a whole woman. "Funny how he and you
have the same name male name and you and I have the same female name.
" "That is funny." Luke chuckled as Linda worked on her toe nails while
Starshine put her hair in curlers.
Since the girls were either barefooted or in nylons, they had a game of
twister and laid face down to talk about the cute boys that Amy and the
others met at college the previous year when they were Freshmen. When
Luke finally went to sleep after taking her hormone pills, her nails were
red, silver and gold and some were still purple. She was glad she didn't
wear stockings so she could do her toes as well as fingers.
It was noon the next day before the girls disbanded for home. They had
brought their swimsuits with them and spent the morning in Amy's pool.
Luke felt such joy at being accepted as one of the girls. When she got
home, she went to her room and noticed her new school uniform, which
reminded her of the uniforms the Sailor Scouts wore when not fighting the
enemy.
"Glad that your dad made enough money as a time police cop before he
died for you to go to the same college I did. " Luke's mother said as she
gave her daughter, Linda, keys to her own hover car.
As Linda drove Amy to school, a pair of boys driving in the next lane
pulled over. They started giving wolf whistles to the new girl in town.
"Did you see that?"
"See what?" Amy joked. "The cute guy making a pass at you?"
"He must have been making a pass at you, Amy." Linda said.
"You've got to remember you're not Luke anymore." Amy giggled. "You're
a beautiful woman. As long as you believe that, so will the guys."
Luke soon found herself enjoying her new school. It was exciting for her
to be able to wear a girl's uniform in the school halls. Without jealousy
making her wish he could dress as they did as a distraction, the classes
seemed to move smoothly and at a faster pace. She enjoyed computer
class, math and history. After cheerleading practice, she was glad her
mother provided her with a note to shower alone.
After cheerleading practice, she went over to Amy's house instead of
straight home. With her shoes off, Luke laid face down on the floor with
her ankles crossed while listening to Amy's new CD. Amy just leaned back
against her bed and pulled her green tight covered legs up against her
body. The tights matched her headband and mini skirt and worked well
with her yellow blouse. "Don't you just love this music."
"The lead man sounds dreamy." Luke agreed as she put on the hologram
music video of the band. "Since I'll be able to have kids after the operation,
I should start husband hunting."
"Being two years older than you, we may of gone our own ways since
High School, but I can say I think you'll make a great mom." Amy
chuckled along with Luke. "Can you image that a few centuries ago the
technology to turn a 100 percent man into a 100 percent woman and
vice-versa didn't exist."
"Plastic surgery back then must have been a true nightmare." Luke said as
Amy helped Luke fix her nails so they were all a solid red.
After school the next day she joined the cheerleaders down at the football
\field when she wondered how cold it was to be in uniform. After a series
of cartwheels and somersaults, Luke had to re tuck her manhood before
she continued.
When the weekend finally came again, Luke Jett went into the hospital
where Dr. Luke had her get onto the table with only a T-shirt on. The

them. Just a manicure and pedicure while getting her hair permed.
"This is so relaxing." Linda said. She loved the empty feeling between her
legs as she walked and sat with legs crossed. As she thought of the
handsome football players that would be on the field with her, she blushed
at the idea of being kissed by her possible first boyfriend.
"You're friend did a wonderful job with your nails." Mrs. Pepper; the
owner of the salon, said as she soaked Linda's fingers. She kind of wished
she had made an appointment to get her nails done too as robot hands did
their girls' nails and faces.
"I'm not much into that kind of thing." Linda admitted but enjoyed the
pampering. And soon she found herself back on the field for the football
game.
"Hi Craig," Linda said, as happy to find her soul mate as her namesake did
in Dr. Luke. It was love at first sight as he asked her for a shake at
Sunshine Soda shop after the game. They shared one soda with two straws.
As they stared into one another's eyes, it was the beginning of a path of a
new adult life in college and beyond.
