Sororal Twins part 6: Shop till you drop
I eventually regained my composure. Jenny and I said our goodbyes to
Miranda and headed out to the parking lot.
"I'm glad to that you were able to meet Miranda."
"Yes, me too. She's quite an interesting woman."
"She does that to a lot of girls. She's not into girls sexually or
anything, but she likes a girl-girl kiss from time to time. She usually
tries to catch people off guard."
"Well, she definitely did that. I wasn't expecting that at all."

"Heidi, my dear, have you forgotten that you're quite a bit taller than
me? How on earth would one of my dresses fit you?"
"Oh."
Somehow, I had completely forgotten about that. I had thought that the
red dress from last time and my current pink ensemble were part of
Jenny's wardrobe.
"I've borrowed a couple of dressed for you. Miranda is about your
height, so I went to her first. She was glad to help out."
I had tingled with excitement when Miranda had pressed her lips to mine
in a warm kiss, and my body tingled again with excitement at being
caressed by Miranda's pink dress. My butterflies had started their
fluttering again.
"After today, we shouldn't have to borrow any more. We're going to hit
the mall and buy you some clothes."
I reminded Jenny that I didn't need a large wardrobe, since my
womanhood was a temporary state - just until Halloween. It didn't see
very financially prudent to spend a lot of money on clothes.
"Money isn't an issue, Heidi. My family comes from oil money. A woman
needs nice clothes. When you're no longer a woman, we can give them to
Michelle - she's the same size as you. Maybe we can even get you
dressed up for a lady's night out every now and then - just for old
times sake."
I wasn't a woman right now, but I really didn't want to try to win that
argument wearing pink lipstick and a vagina.
At the mention of my sister's name, I wondered why Jenny hadn't just
asked her to fill in as the bride. As Jenny had mentioned, Michelle and
I were the same size. Maybe Michelle had other plans for the night - or
maybe Jenny enjoyed having me as her kept woman.
The Michael part of me was quite concerned about the mention of future
ladies nights out. I was into this just as a favor until Halloween. I
was running the risk of being found out by my friends. If any of my
friends knew that I was walking around as a woman, I would never hear
the end of it. Extending Heidi's life beyond Halloween raised the
stakes - I ran the risk of being caught, and if someone found out about
me when we were bar hopping on a ladies night out, I wouldn't have the
convenient excuse of Halloween to fall back on. Instead, it would look
like I was dressing as a woman for nothing more than personal
enjoyment. This was a very frightening possibility. I assured myself
that I'd be able to talk my way out of any ladies night out escapades
when the time came.
The Heidi inside me was delighted at Jenny's comments. The prospect of
being a woman over a longer term was thrilling, and she was ecstatic to
know that she was going to have a wardrobe of her very own!
We arrived at the mall, and we went into one of the women's clothing
stores. I could tell that Jenny was having the time of her life. We
meandered through the store. Jenny spotted outfits that she thought
would be "dreamy" on me, and our cart filled with dresses, skirts, and
blouses.
"Okay, dear, that's enough for now."
I sighed with relief and turned the cart toward the front of the store.
"Heidi, first we need to go to the changing rooms."
I grimaced, and Jenny assured me that it would be all right, and that
trying on the clothes would be quick and painless. I argued that I
could try them on later, and if something didn't fit, it could be taken
back. Jenny pointed out that one of the blouses was on clearance, and
couldn't be taken back. I could understand why I should try on that
blouse, but Jenny insisted that I might as well try everything on,
since I had to try on the blouse anyway. At this point, it seemed
feeble to argue. I suspect that Jenny had grabbed a clearance item for
this specific reason.
I took my clothes into the changing room. I kicked off my pink heels
and was eventually able to unzip my zipper and take off the pink dress.
I started with a simple white v-neck dress. I zipped the dress up and
exited the changing room and went over to the mirror. The dress looked
attractive enough, but it didn't compare to the pink dress.
I changed out of the white dress and into a strapless teal dress. I was
putting on a regular fashion show. After the teal dress, I tried on a
sleeveless burgundy dress with a keyhole front. I gasped as I looked in
the mirror and saw that my "cleavage" was visible. Fashion consultant
Jenny assured me that it was socially acceptable to show a little of
your boobs in public these days. Socially acceptable or not, it made me
feel a little bit uncomfortable.
I tried on skirts and blouses of various colors and fabrics. White,
pink, red, green, and black, satin, silk, rayon, and cotton.
I finally reached my last outfit, a lavender ensemble consisting of a
jacket and skirt. I zipped up the skirt, slipped into the jacket, and
walked the catwalk once again.
"Heidi, that looks so hot!" Jenny exclaimed. "It is so YOU."
Another woman echoed her thoughts, commenting that the lavender outfit
was a man-catcher outfit if she ever saw one. I blushed at her comment.
I really didn't need a man-catcher outfit, since I wasn't trying to
catch a man. I did like the outfit, however. I thought that it looked
quite sharp.
I was about to call it a day when Jenny called for me to hold one for a
second. She came back carrying a pink dress. The same pink dress that
had been borrowed from Miranda. I beamed with delight.
"I'm glad I found this. You seem happy, too."
It was impossible to hide my pleasure, so I didn't bother trying. I
blushed and ran away to the sanctuary of the changing room. I
absolutely loved this pink dress. I definitely needed to add it to my
wardrobe.
I pranced back into the waiting area, strutting my stuff. The world was
my oyster.
"Stunning." Jenny commented. "Absolutely stunning. I guess we can
return the other dress to Miranda. I wonder how she'll show her
appreciation."
My butterflies fluttered again at the thought of Miranda's kiss. Would
she thank me for returning her dress by pinning me against the wall and
applying a kiss du jour to my mouth? I sure hoped so.
"One more thing, dear." Jenny said. She held a tiny pink two piece
swimsuit.
I stared at her, incredulous. "I can't wear that!" I exclaimed.
"Sure you can. You've got the body for it."
I was concerned that the skimpy swimsuit would expose seams around my
breasts and vagina. I did not want someone in the ladies department to
discover that I was a man. I trusted Jenny, however, and slipped into
the bikini. I looked to see if my femininity was compromised by any
telling lines. I couldn't see a thing. Jenny had done an exceptional
job of feminizing me. I sighed appreciatively. My swimsuit fashion show
wasn't likely to send women screaming for mall security.
I modeled the swimsuit for Jenny. I looked into the mirror and found
that I did indeed have the body for the swimsuit. I had to remind
myself that it wasn't actually my body - my friend latex had helped my
a great deal. In any case, I looked hot. Absolutely smokin'.
I slipped out of my swimsuit and back into my pink dress. Well,
Miranda's dress, actually. My pink dress was waiting outside with
Jenny. I didn't have much luck with the zipper, and Jenny had to zip me
up the rest of the way.
We checked out and carted my new wardrobe to the car. I couldn't
believe how much money Jenny had just spent on clothes for me.
"Okay, Heidi, dear. Now we go to the shoe store to finish off your
wardrobe."
We entered the shoe store, and I tried on shoes of different colors and
styles. The shoes were mostly pumps, and some of these had incredibly
high heels. Jenny pulled out her plastic to pay for about a half dozen
pairs of shoes, and before I knew it, we were finished. Trying on shoes
didn't take nearly as long as trying on dresses.
I had enjoyed myself more than I expected, but a part of me was very
glad that we were finished, and that I could retreat back out of the
public eye and get back into male clothes.
Initially, we were heading back toward the Jenny's place. Then we made
a right turn and were suddenly off course. I couldn't even begin to
imagine where we might be heading.
I was a little surprised, though, when we pulled into a parking lot in
front of a bridal shop.
"Oh, you need to have your computer fixed." I commented, referring to a
computer repair shop that shared the same parking lot.
"Yeah, right. Come on, Heidi. Into the shop with you."
"But I already have my dress." I said.
"My dress, dear." she grinned as a realized the Freudian slip. "We
still do have some accessories to buy for you."
"Couldn't you just buy them on your own? Why do I have to come along?"
"I could buy them on my own, but I want you to come along. I want you
to have a truly complete bridal experience."
I felt a twinge of very nervous excitement at the phrase "bridal
experience." Amidst all the shopping, I had nearly forgotten that this
wasn't just about being a woman, but being a bride. Jenny's bride.
Jenny prepped me on information about my wedding dress and other
details of our wedding. I needed to know this information in case the
attendants asked any questions. After all, a bride knows everything
about her wedding and doesn't forget a detail. I was a bundle of nerves
as I listened to Jenny and tried to remember as much as I could. I
managed to get a lot of the details, although I'm not sure I understood
what a lot of the terms meant. I was very nervous at having to be the
main point of contact for the salesperson. Up until this point, Jenny
had done nearly all the talking and had done a wonderful job.
We went into the bridal store. We were immediately approached by an
attendant. I explained that I had already purchased my dress and a
number of accessories, but that the bridal store where I had purchased
the gown was going out of business and didn't have much of a selection
of veils or shoes left.
The attendant, whose name was Samantha, noted a few details about my
gown and went to work on trying to find a suitable veil and shoes.
After a bit, she came back with six veils and five pairs of shoes.
"Well, Heidi, I must admit that this is a bit unusual. Usually the
bride purchases accessories at the bridal shop where she buys her gown,
so that she can see how the accessories go with the gown. Perhaps we
can find a gown similar to yours. That might help us out a bit."
I wasn't exactly sure what Samantha had in mind, but I agreed to look
around the shop to see if they had a wedding gown that was similar to
mine.
I needed a lot of help from Jenny here. I had no idea which of the
gowns in the store were similar to mine. All of them looked like
beautiful white wedding gowns to me. She cleverly worked me towards a
couple of gowns that I guessed were similar to mine.
Samantha came over toward us.
"These are both beautiful gowns. This one won't work - it's not the
right size. This one, however, should be just right for you. It's
definitely a gown for the taller bride. Go ahead and get started
undressing and I'll bring it back to you."
I panicked and my heart nearly stopped beating. I hadn't stopped to
think why she wanted my to find a gown similar to mine. Of course, she
wanted me to try it on, and then see how the veil and shoes looked with
it. My heart started to beat again and started racing a hundred beats a
minute. I had changed clothes in the dressing room at the department
store, of course. However, at the department store, there were other
women changing clothes as well - not just me. The only one who had been
paying attention to me was Jenny. Now I was going to be the center of
attention - for Jenny, Samantha, and any other interested observers.
I realized, though, that it would look very strange if I refused her
request. After all, she was going out of her way to help me - what sort
of bride wouldn't want to try on a gown when shopping for accessories?
Well, a bride with a penis inside his vagina, for one.
I attempted to regain my composure and stave off a potential bout of
hyperventilation. I walked back to the dressing room. I kicked off my
pink pumps and unzipped my lovely pink dress.
Samantha brought the dress back to me. She complimented me on my lovely

a myriad of buttons on the back and sleeves. I stepped into some white
pumps and stepped out to meet my audience.
Jenny was waiting out near the mirrors, and a few other women were also
standing by. I looked into the mirrors at my reflection. My wedding
gown was prettier than this one, but this too was a beautiful gown, and
I appeared to be a very beautiful bride.
Samantha had me try on each of the veils. She would put a veil in
place, adjust it until it was perfect, and then have me model it by
walking a few yards in each direction.
"Okay, dear. Do you prefer one of these veils, or do you want me to
look in the back for something else?"
I glanced toward Jenny for a nonverbal cue of some kind. Her expression
was clear. This was totally my decision. I was flustered. I had been
counting on Jenny to spoon feed me the right answers.
"Well, I can't really decide between these two."
"Do you want to try them on again to get a better look?" Samantha
asked.
"Yes, I would like that." I replied.
Samantha had me try to two veils again, and I made my choice. I now had
a beautiful chapel length veil to go with my beautiful chapel length
gown. Whatever that meant.
Next Samantha had me try on the shoes. She had left the veil on my
head, and I kept stealing glances at the mirror. I looked absolutely
stunning.
"Can't take your eyes off your reflection, dear? I can't say that I
blame you. You look beautiful."
I thanked her and blushed. Jenny was absolutely no help again with the
shoes. I picked out a very nice looking pair or white heels.
"Okay, dear. Is that everything?"
In replied that it was. Samantha unbuttoned my buttons and pulled the
zipper down to my waist so that I would be able to escape from the
friendly confines of the gown. I went back to the changing room to
change. It was a bittersweet moment. I loved slipping back into
Miranda's beautiful pink dress for the fourth time today, but I was
disappointed at having to take off the wedding gown. The consolation
was that I had a gown of my own waiting for me at home - or actually,
at Jenny's.
Samantha had my purchases at the front counter. Jenny met us at the
front with something in her hands. A delicate white teddy outfit,
perfect for a bride's honeymoon. I was really wondering what Jenny had
in mind for Halloween night. She was really carrying this bride thing a
long way.
"Mom said to used my credit card to pay for the veil and shoes, and
she's pay me back. And I have a little present for your wedding night."
She used a stage whisper so that Samantha could overhear her. I
realized that it would seem a little out of place for her to pay -
since I was the bride. And I, of course, didn't have the money to pay
for the veil and shoe. Jenny's convenient excuse didn't raise any
eyebrows; she paid and we walked out of the store.
"Did you know that she was going to have my try on the dress?" I asked
her as soon as we were out of earshot.
"Yes, I figured that was what she was suggesting." Jenny replied.
"Then why on earth didn't you say something to me? I had no idea."
"Well, I figured if you wanted to try on another wedding gown, more
power to you."
I rolled my eyes at her and she laughed.
"You looked beautiful, Heidi. You really did."
"Why didn't you help me with the veil and shoes?"
"Well, I did help you with the general style. I didn't want to
interfere with the final choice, though. That should always be
completely up to the bride."
I realized that Jenny was slowly moving away from the spoon feeding she
had been doing earlier, and was allowing me to become my own woman. I
wasn't sure if I should be grateful for that or not.
