The Orb II - Family Gathering
It had been a few weeks since my ordeal with my friends and the orb,
and things were back to normal. We didn't talk about it much but we had
decided we might try it again someday. I was sitting at home thinking
about it one day when my mom walked into the room.
"Remember to clean up your room." she said. "We are having the family
for dinner tonight at 4:00."
This got me to thinking. I had been wanting to try out the orb again
with new people and my family might just be the answer. I thought it

I spent most of the day thinking about it and I knew who I would
involve. I had six cousins. Two of them were older than the rest of us
and they wouldn't be part of it. Just the younger four. One of my
cousins was the same age as me. Her name was Patty. I found that we had
a lot in common. Another one of my cousins was two years younger. His
name was Louis. He was sort of a nerd who I think had trouble making
friends at school. I also had an eight year old cousin named Danny and
a six year old cousin named Margaret.
When it was getting close to 4:00 I sat in the entryway watching the
door in anticipation. The first to arrive were my grandparents. They
said "Hello" and entered the kitchen. Then came Danny and Margaret.
They went to go say hello to my Grandparents. Next came my oldest
cousin Pete who was 29. He walked in without saying a word to me. After
that came my 24-year-old cousin Marc with his very beautiful, very
pregnant 23-year-old wife Elizabeth. Soon after that came Louis and
Patty and than my childless Aunt and Uncle, Doris and Frank.
When everyone had arrived we all sat in the living room talking. It was
nice to catch up but I was dieing with anticipation to put my plan into
action. Drinks were served and we lingered a while, then I motioned for
my younger cousins to follow me to my room. When the five of us had
entered I told them all to sit down.
"What's going on?" asked Patty as she looked around the room.
"Yeah." asked Louis. "What are we doing here?"
"Just a minute." I told him. "I'll show you."
I pulled out the orb and held it in front of them.
"This my friends," I said as I gestured towards the orb. "is a magic
orb."
"A what?" asked my six-year-old cousin Margaret.
"This orb," I continued. "has the power to change the bodies of
everyone in the room."
At first everyone looked confused, like they were trying to figure out
the joke I was trying to pull.
"Yeah right" scoffed my younger cousin Danny. "Do you really expect us
to believe that?"
"I'm just making sure you are all prepared." I said. "Because the
minute two of us touch this thing we are all going to pass out and then
wake up as someone else."
Everyone just sat there an minute, then Patty broke the silence.
"Alright" she said. "I'm in."
I looked at the others.
"I'm in too." stated Louis.
Danny sighed. "I guess I'm in too."
"Me too!" shouted Margaret who didn't completely understand what was
going on but didn't want to be left out.
"Alright then." I said. "Everyone get in a circle."
I placed the orb in the middle of the floor and we all sat around it.
"On the count of three we all touch it." I said. "Okay, One.. two..
three!"
Just then I saw the door swing open just before the bright purple flash
washed over the room and I passed out. The darkness blanketed me. I was
in a sea of blackness for what seemed like a thousand years before I
felt someone shaking me.
"I think she's alright." I heard someone say.
I opened my eyes. Louis and Patty were looking down at me.
"Who are you?" I asked, not being able to put a finger on the sound of
my voice.
"I'm Louis." said Patty's body.
"And I'm Margaret." said Louis's.
I tried to sit up finding it was extremely difficult.
"What's the matter with me?" I asked, starting to panic.
"Take it easy." Said Louis in Patty's body. "You're fine, just relax."
I calmed down a little.
"Now who are you?" Louis asked.
"I'm Jack." I told him.
Louis glanced at Margaret, then back at me.
"Why, what's the matter?" I asked.
"Nothing's the matter." Louis answered. "It's just... you're cousin
Elizabeth, Jack. You're pregnant."
"WHAT?" I shouted as the words sunk in.
"Ssshh, ssshh..." said Louis. "We don't want the others to hear us."
I struggled to get up, but still found it exceedingly difficult.
"Would you help me up?" I asked them.
"Oh sure, sorry." Said Louis as he and Margaret struggled to help me
up.
When I was up I looked down at myself. I was indeed Elizabeth. And she
was seven months pregnant.
"I have to sit down." I said as I slowly moved toward my chair.
I remembered when I had woken up in Tiffany's body a few weeks ago and
thought that everything was out of balance. I could barely stand now.
Not only did I have the immense weight of my chest weighing me down,
but now I was also carrying a child. To make matters even worse,
Elizabeth had been wearing a dress and high heels. I had to lean
heavily on Louis and Margaret as they guided me to the chair.
I breathed deeply as I sat down. Even that was a chore. This was not
going to be fun. By now the others were stirring and they started to
get up and look around. They were all taking it rather well except for
Elizabeth who had ended up in Danny and had not been informed as to
what was taking place. It took a while to calm her down but than she
just sat in silence.
"So," I said "How is everybody feeling?"
A murmur arose from everyone about how they were feeling alright.
"So how long are we going to stay like this?" Danny asked from
Margaret's body.
"Well the original plan was until everyone went home but if you would
rather just get back we can change now." I answered.
"Well I'm good to go." Said Patty from my body. "I think we should wait
until it is time to leave. This is a good opportunity to see what life
is like through the eyes of someone else."
"Yeah." Said Louis from Patty's body. "I mean, no one out there even
knows we switched."
I was originally very excited about going out into the get-together as
someone else but now I didn't know. I mean, now I was pregnant, and I
was married. This would make things very interesting.
"What do you think?" I asked Elizabeth who was in Danny's body.
"I think it is a great idea." She said. "It's not everyday you get to
see what it is like to be someone else. Besides, it feels great to get
that weight off my back for a while."
I smiled. At least she was taking this well.
"Alright then." I said. "So it is agreed? We will meet back here at
10:30 to switch again and until then we act as if we whomever's body we
are in and we tell no one else about this."
I glanced at the clock. It read 5:30.
"Alright." Said Louis from Patty's body. "But I have a better idea. How
about we meet back here at lets say 8:00 and switch again. That way we
can see life through the eyes of one more person."
I thought about it. If we used the orb again at 8:00 we would just be
randomly switched into someone else body and we could enter the
gathering again as them.
"It sounds like a great idea." I said. "So it is agreed?"
"Agreed." everyone responded.
I struggled to stand up. "A little help?" I asked.
Patty in my body and Margaret in Louis's body rushed to help. I tried
to walk on my own a little. It wasn't as hard as I had thought it would
be, but it did take a lot out of me. I would have to spend a large
amount of the evening sitting down. As we walked down the stairs I
wondered where I would go when we got to the main crowd. All the men
usually sat in the family room and watched TV while all the women
usually stayed in the kitchen and helped with dinner. However, for the
time being I was married to Marc and I was pregnant so I thought I
could sneak a visit into the family room.
As we all entered the main crowd we went our separate ways. I looked
around the group. My Mother, my Grandmother, and my four Aunts were all
in the kitchen working on dinner, chatting as they did so. I looked
towards the family room. Marc was sitting alone on a loveseat with an
empty space beside him, probably where Elizabeth had been sitting
before she came upstairs. I walked over and sat down on the loveseat
next to him.
"What took you so long?" he asked as he leaned over and kissed me.
This took me by surprise. In a split second decision I decided that
since I was pretending to be Elizabeth I might as well play into it. I
kissed him back.
"The kids weren't giving you and trouble were they?" he asked me as he
looked into my eyes.
"No," I said turning away. "They were fine."
I heard all the other men go wild as something happened on the
television set. I looked over towards the screen. A football game was
on and one of the teams had just scored a touchdown. Now I had never
been the biggest fan of football, but I had always been able to at
least watch a game. Right now as I stared at the screen, I realized
that I had no interest in this at all. And that made me think. When the
orb switches your body with someone, it must also switch personality
traits. This body didn't like football.
I tried to sit and watch the game for a while but it was no use, I was
overcome by boredom. I decided that my new body might feel a little
more comfortable in it's own territory. That is, in the kitchen.
"I'm going to go see how the other ladies are doing." I told Marc as I
started to get up.
Then I did something that surprised me. I leaned over and gave him a
kiss. Now this was starting to get weird. It seemed the longer I stayed
in Elizabeth's body, the more I acted like Elizabeth. I walked over to
the kitchen and was meet by a pleasant welcoming from the women of the
family. Luckily they beckoned me to sit at the table with my
Grandmother because I really didn't know the slightest thing about
cooking.
"So how are you doing?" they all asked.
"Oh I'm doing fine." I replied. "In fact." I started to sob. "These are
the greatest days of my life!"
"Ohhhh..." All the other women came and started to hug me.
I didn't know why but for some reason I was suddenly feeling all
emotional. My eyes grew teary.
"I don't deserve to have family like you." I sobbed.
"Oh come on now." Said my Aunt Doris. "You know that's not true. If
anything, we don't deserve to have you."
"Thank you." I wept as I started to dry my eyes. "Thank you so much."
As I was sitting with the ladies I took a look down at my swollen
belly. It was amazing to think that another human being was growing
inside of me. I felt a surge of pride and love that only a mother could
understand as I rubbed my stomach, thinking about what my child would
be like. I had several conversations with the ladies before I realized
that it was getting close to 8:00. I decided that I wasn't quite
through being married yet and there was something that I still wanted
to do.
I walked back into the family room where all the men were still
sitting. I walked over to Marc and sat down next to him. I turned
towards him and looked deeply into his eyes. Now I don't know if it was
the fact that Elizabeth's body was getting the better of me or if it
was that all these female hormones were starting to drive me wild but I
leaned in and I kissed Marc. Now I'm not talking like those other
couple of kisses that would really be more qualified as pecks really, I
mean I KISSED him. For a good twenty seconds before I stood up and
started to depart.
As I was walking away I heard the men talking about the display I had
just put on but I didn't care. I was pregnant and I couldn't be held
responsible for my actions, what with these hormones and all. I walked
up the stairs and entered my room. Everyone else was already there.
"Alright." I said. "Let's do this."
We all sat in a circle again around the orb and then on the count of
three we all reached in and touched the orb. The purple flash hit hard
this time. A painful dizziness hit me before I was swallowed by the
darkness.
I was staring to get used to the waking up in a foreign body. This time
I found myself sitting against the wall. I looked down. I was in
Patty's body. Two round breasts met my gaze. I could feel the bra I
wore hugging them to my chest. At least Patty didn't dress so feminine
as Elizabeth. I was wearing sweatpants and a T-shirt that hugged my
upper body. Patty's shoulder length hair partially blocked my vision as
I looked around.
Some of the others had already left. I stood up and surveyed who was
left. Margaret and Louis's bodies were still unconscious. I started to
walk towards the door when I realized something. I had to go to the
bathroom. Oh no, I thought as I looked down at myself. Louis must have
been holding it and waiting for the switch.
I made my way towards the bathroom. This was going to get interesting.
As I entered the bathroom I looked in the mirror. I still couldn't get
over seeing someone else's reflection looking back at me. Patty was an
attractive girl with shoulder length wavy brown hair and green eyes. I
looked myself up and down. Patty's breasts weren't as large as
Elizabeth's were but the were still extremely noticeable, a good size
for a girl our age.
I decided I might as well get this over with. I stood in front of the
toilet then remembered that I would have to sit down. I somehow felt
wrong as I pulled down Patty's sweatpants, but what could I do? This
was just something that was unavoidable. I relieved myself quickly and
had pulled my sweatpants back up when I realized something. I was
alone. With Patty's body.
I looked in the mirror. This was a good chance to get up close and
personal with the female body. I had seen a bit of girls before but not
like I could now. Not from this perspective. I started to take of
Patty's shirt. When it was off I looked in the mirror and saw myself in
Patty's bra. I knew this was a pretty bad thing to do but I couldn't
control myself. I mean, we were supposed to be each other for the time
being weren't we? I reached behind my back and unhooked the bra. It was
a bit hard but when it was off it felt good to have Patty's breasts
free of their restraints.
I looked at Patty's breasts in their full glory. Not bad at all. I
started to rub myself. I couldn't help it. I just wanted to know what
it felt like. I soon found myself lying on the bathroom floor, rubbing
Patty's now perky breasts with both hands. I never would have imagined

Soon I couldn't take it anymore and I was about to reach down Patty's
panties when I stopped myself. That was enough. It was a bit late to
start respecting Patty's privacy but I decided to leave it at that. I
felt that Patty didn't deserve that. I redressed myself, which took
some time because I discovered that putting the bra back on was even
harder than getting it off in the first place.
I didn't think anyone would find my absence odd. Girls always take a
long time in the bathroom so any of the normal family members would
just put it off as that, and if I was questioned by any of the other
members of our the switch I'd tell the that it took me that long to get
up the nerve to use the toilet. A I walked down the stairs I couldn't
help noticing how light I felt. Patty was quite petite and only stood
at a mere 5'1. I suddenly felt very energetic in my new form, like I
could run a marathon. This gave me an idea.
I wasn't sure which part of the house I should go to now that I was
Patty. I couldn't visit the adult men or women, and I didn't really
want to face my cousins in my new form either. I thought about my
desire to run, remembering the track that had recently been built at
the park near my house. I decided to sneak out and run a couple of
laps.
The air felt cool against my skin as I ran towards the park. I was
amazed at how bouncy my new body felt. Every part of me seemed to be
moving, especially my breasts. As I neared the park I noticed a group
of teenagers standing by the fence. I scared at first, realizing that
being out at night in this body probably wasn't such a great idea. I
hadn't even told anyone where I was going. I suddenly felt very
vulnerable as I moved towards the track. What if these were a bunch of
young guys just waiting for the opportunity to prey on a young,
innocent girl like me. I calmed down as I noticed that there were a few
girls amongst the group. As I grew closer I noticed that they were some
kids I knew from school. There were five of them and it looked like
they had been drinking. I was about to go over and say "hi" when I
realized that they wouldn't know who I was. Besides that, it looked
like they were smoking marijuana and I really didn't want to go
anywhere near the stuff, especially in Patty's body.
I turned my attention back towards the track. I pondered how many laps
I could run now. I felt like I could run all night. As I started to
speed up I found again found the annoying bouncing of Patty's breast

time? I wondered to myself as I completed my first lap.
I ran for about an hour before my small lungs had taken about as much
as they could. I realized that the rest of the family must have noticed
I was missing by now and that I had better get back. As I was walking
back to my house I looked down at myself. I was growing more and more
comfortable being in a female body. Although it did have some
downsides, I was disappointed to think that I would soon have to change
back.
When I got back to my house I was greeted by Patty's father Bruce.
"Where the hell have you been?" he shouted at me as I neared the house.
I started to answer but then he did something that completely shocked
me. He smacked me across the face. I was speechless. Although I had
never particularly liked my Uncle Bruce, I never would have thought
that he treated Patty this way.
"I can explain..." I started to say.
"Shut up." He said as he backhanded me across my other cheek.
I felt so weak, so vulnerable. I knew that in Patty's body I didn't
stand a chance of fighting back.
"Get inside." He demanded.
I slowly moved to obey and trudged into the house. As I walked back
towards the rest of the family I swore to myself that I would get him
back for the way he treated his daughter. I already had a plan. When I
got into the family room my eyes met the clock. It was 10:00. I walked
into the games room where all my younger cousins were sitting.
"Alright, who is Patty?" I asked the group.
"I am." Louis's body responded.
"Can I have a word with you alone?" I asked.
We stood in the hallway.
"Look," I said "I know the way your father treats you."
She gave me a sad, surprised look.
"I would like to propose something. How would you like to switch bodies
with your dad? As long as you want. Whatever it takes to teach him a
lesson."
Patty looked shocked.
"I was already planning the same thing." She told me.
She admitted that she had enjoyed herself in my body more than she ever
could in hers.
"I just feel like I was meant to be born a man." She said.
I hugged her. I had been trying not to think about it, but I was
finding myself more and more attracted to my female body. I decided
that it might just be the fact that I had been in two female bodies
today and one of them had been an estrogen overload.
When it was 10:30 we all assembled in my room and began the long
arduous task of getting everyone back to their own body. We decided the
fastest way was to send two people in at a time. First went Elizabeth
who had been in my body. Then went Louis who had been in Elizabeth's,
then mine. After that went Patty who had been in Louis's body and now
mine and me which got us both back to our own forms. Then went Danny
and Margaret who had ended up as each other. After that everyone left
the room and went back down to the gathering except for me and Patty.
"Are you sure you want to go through with this?" I asked her.
"More than anything." She replied.
I entered the crowd and told Uncle Bruce that Patty was in my room and
wanted to have a word with him. After he entered the room I saw the
door close and than the familiar purple lift shine from underneath it.
After that Patty and Uncle Bruce, now unconscious in Patty's body left
immediately. But not before Patty gave me a big hug.
"Thank you." She whispered to me as she departed into the night, her
former body slung over her now muscular shoulder.
As I reentered the group my mother asked me where Bruce and Patty had
gone.
"They had to leave a bit early." I answered. "There was a bit of a mix-
up."
