a gray tee shirt and shorts. His wife sat beside him with her hair down in
a bun with a flower clip. She wore a black tank top and flip flop with a
pink skirt that had black and white print flowers on it.
?You're welcome,? George said in his red and black checkered shirt,
blue jeans and spike boots.

?Oh that,? George chuckled. ?Kelly?s mom was worried she?d end up
small chested like my daughter. I?ve been slipping the pills into her
drink at breakfast and before bed. It won?t hurt her at all. By the time
she?s ready to go home at the end of summer, she should be ready for her
first training bra.?
?Hi mom, what?s for breakfast?? asked Mike.
?Don?t be rude.? Mike senior said as he gave his son a gentle slap
behind the head. His son moved behind his mother. ?Now say you?re sorry.?
?That?s okay.? George smiled. ?I know you two have come to collect
their camp out stuff. I wouldn?t see any of the kids return home without a
meal. The girls have already had some pancakes and sausage.?

Outside in the grass Kevin and the girls had just finished making

cheerleading moves as a human pyramid. Kevin got on his hands and knees in

purple dress which length matched Kevin?s mini skirt, ankle socks on her
bare legs and sneakers beside Kevin. Sandra had an orange top, orange

slowly and stand.?

The girls watched and practiced flying dismounts, hand springs and
cart wheels. When Mike finally came outside after his seventh pancake, the
others were laying on their backs exhausted from all their work. As Mike
laid on his back beside them, they started picking out shapes in the
clouds.

?That looks like a princess.? Kevin pointed over to one. ?There?s a

?What is it?? Janet asked.
"I know I couldn?t afford to get you ballet lessons when you were
younger,? Her mother said. ?This is a self teach ballet video. You?re
welcome to try it with Janet and Sandra, Kelly.?
?Thanks.? Kevin said with a smile. ?I do own a ballet outfit.?
?Let me guess, pink?? Janet asked with a slight giggle.
?What?s your color?? Kevin asked.
?Sandra and mine are both white.? Janet said as Kevin went to his
room to change while the girls did so too.
?I know you feel left out.? Mike?s mother said to him. ?That?s why I
got you a new R/C racer. Why don?t you try out while they try their
ballet video.?

After ballet practice the door bell rang. Barbara Wells; who was
Mike teacher the previous year, was at the door. Much to the group?s
surprise, she was dressed in the type of ladybug costume one would wear
for Halloween.
?Can I help you?? The kid?s mom asked.
?The school is having a pre-year costume party with a fee to enter.?
Mrs. Wells said sweetly. ?It?s to raise money to do the needed repairs on
the library before the school opens in the fall.?
?You can could on us to contribute.? Janet said as the girls all
tried to think quickly. ?I think I?ll wear my ballet outfit.?
?I?m going to be a pirate.? Mike declared.
?Well I?m going to be a butterfly fairy.? Sandra answered with a
smile.
?I can wear my cheerleading outfit.? Kevin said with a smile. ?If I
didn?t need to clean it, I would have worn it when I was showing you some
moves.?
?What are your school colors?? Mrs. Wells asked. ?I was a cheerleader
for my school and ours was blue and red.?
?I haven?t tried out for a school team.? Kevin answered. ?I made my
own because I like cheer leading and hope to become good enough to get on
the time some year. Since pink is my favorite color I made it a light and
dark shade of pink.?
Sandra changed into her bathing suit while her mother pinned the
fabric that would turn into her fairy princess dress and fixed the wings.
When her mother was done, she tossed on a lime green dress and passed Mike
who still racing R/C cars.
Sandra was running around when she took the dress off and dove into
the lake. The bathing suit reminded Kevin how wonderful his hose felt in
the store changing room when he tried on and bought a one piece bathing
suit all his own.
At the party Kevin made a great pirate as the girls looked cute in
their clothes. Even Mike senior and his wife got into the act dressed as a
musketeer and belly dancer. There was punch, snacks and different games
such as ring toss, bean bag toss and darts. Stuff animals and other
prizes were given out. Kevin was especially impressed with the cyborg
costume that a teacher with the name tag Robert Cats had on. Far more
impressive that the lady bug one Mrs. Wells had on. So was Robin Cruz?s
mermaid costume in the dunk booth.
It was near the end of the summer when Mike tossed the football.
When Kevin tried to catch it, he found it not as easy to do so as he use
to playing with Mike. He didn?t care much for playing such male oriented
sports, but it made his friend happy.
?You okay?? Mike asked.
?I think I had enough of this for today.? Kevin said. ?I should get
changed for my birthday party.?
?You seem bewildered.? George said as Kevin explained what had
happened while playing football. George chuckled and pulled out the
bottle of pills while he explained what he had done. ?Thanks grandpa. I
don?t know what mom will say when she picks me up here, but thanks.?
?Here an early present to put on before the party.? George said as
he opened a box and gave Kevin his first training bra. Kevin could barely
hold back his tears as he gave his grandpa a hug.
Sandra in a blue dress with red horizontal stripes was first to show
at Kevin?s birthday with his mother in an orange dress with darker orange
color geographic shapes on it. After Kevin blew out the candle, kids ate
their pieces at the kids table while the adult s ate at another one.
It was near the end of the party when Kevin?s mother showed up to
pick him up for the summer. She couldn?t believe how fem his hair was
styled with Janet?s mother taking him to the salon over the summer.
?What?s going on here!? shouted Kevin?s mother. ?What are you wearing??
?Isn?t Kelly adorable?? Janet?s mother asked.
?Kelly, dad?? She turned to George. She spoke in a whisper as she
took Kevin and him aside. ?How can you go behind my back like this.?
?A grandpa's job is to make his grand kids happy.? George said
honestly. ?Unlike you, I made him happier than Kevin been in a long time.?
?So I see,? she sighed in surrender and looked at Kevin?s chest,
?They?re real aren?t they??
?Yes.? Kevin said as his mother hugged him and welcomed her new
daughter to the family.
