The course correction
Chapter One: She blinked her eyes and did a double take
Jess stood in formation on the stage. He was sweating and still
breathing heavily from the competition pose down. He looked down at his
massive chest as it rose and fell with each breath. He still couldn't
believe that this was happening - and yet here he was a professional
bodybuilder competing for the first time! He worked very hard for this;
and of course he hoped he won. Winning would bring some much needed
relief. Relief in the form of product endorsements. Maybe things would
finally start to slow down. Looking the way he did took a lot of time,
energy, work, and credits. It would be well worth it if it worked. He
was one of the five finalists and soon, very soon, he would know if
Dale's life long dream and work had paid off. He truly hoped so. It was
Dale's body after all. Jess has only resided in this massive mound of
muscle for only the last two and a half years.
He thought back to how life had changed so completely for everyone on
the planet. What eventually would become known as The Course Correction
- a world wide event where nearly everyone in the world switched bodies.
He thought of the chaos, insanity and outright unbelievability of all
that followed as people tried to reclaim that which once was theirs. The
only solution was to put forth that property stayed with the body -
money, cars, houses, and even jobs. How do you tell Brad Pitt that he
couldn't act anymore? Then again, he wasn't Brad Pitt anymore either.
Jess just shook his head and tried to stay limber by rolling his
unbelievably wide shoulders. 'What a story'he thought. Poor Brad, he
wasn't pretty anymore. He ended up in the body of his gardener; an
illegal alien of questionable age. Who ended up in pretty boy's body?
Jess laughed to himself as he remembered. Jared, from those Subway
commercials ended up in his body. Yes - that Jared. Apparently he had a
small part in Jennifer Aniston's new movie at the time and was at the
Pitt residence to rehearse when the switches occurred. The gardener
ended up in Jen's body and Jen in Jared's. This scene would be played
out all over the world.
Jess looked at the other men on the stage and recalled what information
he could of each - most were still in their early twenties. And in very
good shape. Of course, what gender each man originally was two and a
half years ago was a well guarded secret. No one wanted to give anybody
any ammunition for any type of mind games that are so prevalent in the
sport of bodybuilding. Sabotage your opponents self confidence and you
could better your chance of winning. He wondered if anyone remembered
'Pumping Iron' with Dale?s hero Arnold Schwarzenegger? Arnold was the
master of the mind game. And a magnificent specimen as well; taking the
Mr.Olympia title many, many times. Jess had just taken first place in
the men?s heavyweight division earlier and now it was for overall
champion. He knew that Dale was out in the audience watching and waiting
in his real body. Watching an event that she had spent years to
participate in! And he didn't want to disappoint her. 'These muscles
were really hers!'he thought.
He looked out into the audience but could only see a few rows - it was
so dark in the theater. But, he knew that she was there and was watching
his every move all day. Jess looked back down at his chest and flexed
his pecs. The thick heavy muscles rolled and started to bounce. 'I've
got breasts that I can move now 'he thought with a smile. Of course, he
knew that it was really muscle that allowed him to make his chest
bounce. It was just a funny way to look at it, that's all.
Jess continued varying his poses and angles for the judges. He was
concentrating hard; trying to impress them. His mind was racing with all
of Dale?s pointers that she had insisted he learn for the final pose
down. He flexed his back; spreading his back muscles wide. The judges
eyes popped. His composure was almost lost from their reaction. He was
going to win, he just knew it. Unfortunately, the roar from the crowd
was competing with the need to concentrate to complete the final pose
down ? the most muscular. And of course, all of this was layered over
his feelings of 'unreality' he thought; as he flexed one of his massive
arms.
And there were other moments of unreality over the past two and a half
years that went through Jess' mind. But the most memorable had to be
when he woke up right after the Course Correction.

Jessica Larson walked along the boardwalk of Venice Beach on her way
back to her apartment from the grocery store. It was Sunday afternoon
and a beautiful day for a walk and maybe a swim. It was her day off and
she had every intention of getting the most out of it as possible.
After lunch she would read the Sunday Los Angeles Times and then take
that swim. She wanted to try out the new bikini that she bought earlier
in the week. As she walked she was constantly reminded why she had
decided to move to Venice Beach - the people watching was great! And the
beach was very close by. Her bag was beginning to weigh on her arms too
much and she decided to take a short break. She decided to sit on the
upcoming bench and not only do some people watching on the boardwalk -
but some muscle watching as well. Venice Beach's Gold's Gym was located
at the corner of Hampton and Sunset; but the outdoor viewing yard known
as 'the pit' was located on the beach. She didn't do this too often as
muscle heads really weren't her type. But she did enjoy watching the
sweat dance as it highlighted all that moving muscle!
She sat on the bench placing her bag next to her. She took a deep breath
and smiled up into the Sun. It was eighty degrees and a cool breeze
floated off of the ocean. It made for a perfect swimming and people
watching kind of day. She looked to her left and peered into the pit at
the many bodybuilders. They were slaving away with iron and making those
rude noises. As she continued to look around she recognized one of her
neighbors; the guy that lived across the hall from her. He was laying on
his back doing what she knew to be bench presses. And my God - did it
look like a lot of weight!
His name was Dale Jorgenson and he was from L.A. She knew little else,
except that he was gorgeous; about six foot three with blonde spiked
hair and blue eyes set deep in a very handsome face. Then, there was
that body. It was all he seemed to care about from the looks of it. It
was eighty degrees and yet he was all covered up! She could hear him
grunt as he raised the heavy bar up and above his huge chest. She rarely
saw him at the apartment building. Apparently he was either always here
or at some bar working as a bouncer. Now that figured!
From the advertising posters attached to the fencing of the pit she knew
that every man in the pit was most likely preparing for the Mr.
California contest. She looked about the pit and wondered who would
place and who would not. The contest was just six weeks away. She knew
nothing of the so called sport, but apparently there was a cash prize of
one hundred thousand dollars for first place. Her allowance was nearly
that for the last several years. Of course, that included her college
and living expenses. Her father owned a large hotel chain and she was
her father's sole aire. She was in college at UCLA for a business
degree. A degree that she would later need to run her father's business
one day. But today she was going to enjoy her day off from classes and
take in the sun! She got back up and picked up her grocery bag; ' time
to go home ' she said to herself.
******
Dale Jorgenson was twenty four years old and very much into
bodybuilding. He started to seriously work out when he was just fifteen.
When he discovered that he had what was called 'great genetics' his
father bought him a membership to Gold's Gym. He has been working out
there ever since. Today was the day that he worked his upper body; his
chest, back and arms. Tomorrow he would do squats and legs - tough days
but they had to be done. He had to watch his symmetry. He was six two
and weighed in at two hundred and forty three pounds. All muscle. His
body fat ratio was the best that it has ever been at just six percent.
He would drive it still lower before the competition in six weeks. In
six weeks he was going to win the Mr. California title. he just knew it.
Dale could taste it! It would bring him all that much closer to his goal
of winning a professional membership and acquiring some of that coveted
product endorsement money. That is what helped build careers -
endorsement money. It allowed a builder to just focus on his career and
not have to do double duty working another job - like a bouncer at one
of the local bars. The money he made there was good enough. He could
afford his drug cocktails and his food bill. His food bills were
enormous! But hey, you've got to feed the furnace. This was his life,
his entire focus. Women have come and gone - having been attracted by
his great looks - only to leave when they discovered that they came in a
distant second to his ambitions. Dale new this, but he also knew that
the right one wouldn't have left in the first place.
So, today was Sunday and it was a beautiful day once more in Southern
California. Dale was sweating profusely. He would have been more
comfortable had he not covered himself up so completely - but it was not
uncommon for builders to do so as a competition neared. He knew that by
doing so was to his advantage - it kept the others wondering, wondering
how he compared to the rest of them. So he chose to sweat in his baggy
tee shirt and very loose fitting work out pants. He was nearing the end
of his workout and the bench press was one of his favorite exercises.
Dale loved his chest! It measured fifty four inches and he wasn't
finished with it yet! He lowered the bar once more towards his chest and
took a deep breath before he raised it once more. Three hundred and
sixty pounds of metal and three sets until failure. His arms would be
next, they were mammoths at a flexed circumference of twenty one inches.
Hard. Dale was hard all over and loved it!
Dale raised the bar to the rack and took a deep breath before moving on
to do his arm work at a different location. Out of the corner of his
eyes he noticed one of his neighbors sitting at a nearby bench watching
all the guys at work in the yard. He thought she was attractive with a
body to die for. She had a great chest of her own and legs that didn't
quit. He knew her name was Jessica Larson and she was a student at UCLA.
But due to his crazy schedule he never did get to have a chance to meet
her. Just then he noticed her get up and walk away with her bag of
groceries. Dale watched her as she walked down the boardwalk - her
summer dress doing so very little to hide all of her curves. He started
to get hard just watching her leave. 'Better get to the arm work out 'he
thought - 'I need a shower - and a cold one at that!'
Jessica reached her apartment on the third floor easily enough - she
took the elevator. ' So much for keeping in shape ' she thought with a
smile. She just wanted to relax and read the Sunday Times. She put away
the groceries and walked into the living room. She got comfortable on
the sofa. Oops, she forgot a cold drink. She got up and went back into
the kitchen and grabbed a Pepsi. She got comfortable on the sofa once
more and pulled out her favorite parts of the paper - fashion, people,
and of course, the comics. She soon got lost in her reverie of the
latest fashions that adorned some of the world's most beautiful people.
Dale had just finished up his workout for the day. His upper body was
pumped with blood and needed nourishment to make his chest grow still
more. He headed on home to make himself a much needed lunch. Dale?s
thoughts were only of the meal and taking a much needed nap before it
was time to go to work at the bar at five p.m. 'Man, I've got to win!'he
thought, 'I've just got to!' He reached his apartment on the third floor
easily enough - he took the stairs two at a time. 'Tomorrow is leg day
for real,'he thought, as he reached the door to his place. Lunch, now -
then some much needed rest. Dale turned the key in the lock and before
he could take the key out of the lock the world started to spin out of
control. Before Dale could do anything about it, he fell to the floor
unconscious.

With a push of a button the powerful ray was generated from the
spacefaring vessel. It virtually enveloped the planet. The planet Earth.
******
Jessica took a deep breath and moaned, her head hurt. 'But, why?', she
thought, 'I was only reading the newspaper.' Her eyes were closed and
she struggled to open them. 'How did I get on the floor?'she thought to
herself, 'And what am I doing out in the hall?'. She brought her hand up
to her face to rub her temples and ease the pain a little and got a
shock! She looked at the hand that did her bidding - it wasn't hers! She
looked at it closer and realised that it was a man's hand. A large man's
hand. 'Yeah, right,'she thought, 'I must've fallen asleep while sitting
on the sofa reading the newspaper. Yeah, that's it!' Right. She
remembered getting comfortable on the couch and reading about the latest
fashions and...what? This certainly felt real. Too real in fact.'She
made a fist. A very large fist! 'Oh my God!, what is happening to me?'
She began to panic. Slowly, very slowly she pushed herself up so that
she was sitting up. She looked down at her body. It too wasn't hers! She
couldn't believe what her eyes were telling her! She blinked her eyes
and did a double take - Dale? She turned her head and looked at her
shoulder that seemed to go on forever underneath the smelly tee shirt
Dale?s body was still apparently wearing from his workout! She felt her
shoulder with her hand and it felt sore for some reason. As a matter of
fact, her whole torso felt somewhat sore. And very hard to the touch.
She looked at her arms and realised that yes, indeed this was Dale's
body. She bent an arm and was startled by how much her biceps bulged!
"Oh my God - I'm Dale!"she said, amazed. "I?m Dale?"
Dale awoke slowly. He thought the floor felt a little too soft, but
other than that he didn't think much of it. Until he opened his eyes and
realised that he was in the wrong apartment. He didn't recognize
anything. He took a deep breath and felt something constricting his
chest. He furrowed his brow, something was very wrong. He looked down as
he lay on the floor and got the surprise of his life! His view was
obstructed by a pair of very generous breasts! He had cleavage, and not
the usual muscular type he had grown so accustomed to. He grabbed his
chest, and indeed, it or they, felt very real. He started to panic and
got up and ran for a mirror in the bathroom. Peering back at him was the
image of Jessica Larson. 'But how?' Stunned he touched his cheek and the
reflection did the same. He screamed involuntarily and then passed out.
Jessica heard a scream and recognized it as her own. She got up off the
floor and crossed the hall to her apartment door. She pounded on the
door and was amazed at the force that she impaled it with. She hollered
for someone to please open the door; but nobody came. She tried once
more to open it but it was locked as she knew it would be. She had
locked it. At that time she began to hear shouts of fear and terror
coming from the other apartments around him. She heard it from outside
as well - people screaming at each other. She lumbered over to the
windows that lined the stair well and saw nothing but chaos outside.
Everywhere. Cars were stopped at weird angles in the middle of the
street. "What has happened to the world?" she asked herself.
******
Dale regained consciousness shortly. He felt odd to say the least. There
was padding in very odd places that made their impression upon him as he
lay on the floor of the bathroom. He got up and looked in the mirror
again. He let out a small whimper. 'This can't be real.'he thought to
herself. 'I'm twenty four years old and about to compete for the title
of Mr.California in just six weeks! This can't be real!'Just then he
heard a very loud pounding coming from the apartment door. He also heard
screams from outside - and still more from within the building. This had
to be some kind of nightmare. Anything this weird just can't be real -
or at least it's gotta be some kind of mass hallucination. The pounding
continued with loud requests for someone to open the door. As he
approached the door he thought he recognized the voice. 'No this can't
be real! This can't be real!' Dale reached the door and opened it and
there stood a mountain of a man! He recognized him and shook his head.
Jessica's mouth fell open when the door opened. She too, recognized the
person who had opened the door. She did not have the time to say a word.
Before she could close her mouth whoever it was that had opened the door
to her apartment started to faint. She reached out with both of her
hands and caught what amounted to - her old body - preventing the fall.
Jessica quite easily picked her up and walked over to the couch. She
laid her former body upon it and stood back up. She looked around the
apartment realizing that this was not going to be easy or over soon. The
screaming had not abated and she could still swear that she was still
reading the newspaper that was now all over the living room floor. 'This
can't be real?' she thought. And yet, as she ran a hand over a hard
muscular chest it felt very real. Very real indeed.
*From chapter two forward the characters of Dale and Jessica where
gender is concerned will be now be referenced correctly by their current
"new body's" sex. I have added this disclaimer in hopes to avoid
confusion to the reader.
Chapter Two: And that was just toilet paper!
Dale found herself laying on a sofa as she slowly returned from
unconsciousness. She heard a television somewhere - a news alert. The
announcer was reporting on something that has affected the whole world.
She slowly opened her eyes and suddenly the nightmare returned. There
standing in front of the television across the room stood her former
body. It's back was to her and whoever it was had not yet noticed that
she had awakened. She could hear crying of some sort - something like -
'no, no, no'. She looked to the television and did not recognize the
person speaking; but that was the least of it. The words were horrifying
- 'Yes just a mere twenty six minutes ago the entire world was shook by
some unknown phenomenon. Apparently for some unknown reason people
switched bodies all at once - all over the world! Ladies and gentlemen
it goes without saying that this is an unprecedented event. We ask that
you try to remain calm. Please stay where you are. And please, try to
remain calm.' Dale chuckled. 'Yeah, right, try to remain calm', she
thought to herself, 'my body had just been stolen from me and with it
all my dreams of opportunities for success.'
Jessica had heard Dale's chuckle and slowly turned around. There were
tears streaming down his face. He looked at Dale and asked - "Who are
you?"
Dale looked back at the face that was once hers and simply said : "I
used to be you."
"Dale, is that you in there? "asked Jessica. She nodded.
"It's me, Jessica Larson."he said.
The new man started to cry with much more force; his humongous shoulders
heaved with the sobs. Dale could not help but to join him. She got up
from the sofa and walked over to the new Jessica who wrapped Dale in his
now much more powerful arms. Dale was at once comforted - and a little
weirded out by the experience - she got to feel what it was like to be
held by a man! They stood there crying for sometime, neither of them
knew exactly when or how - but they found themselves sitting on the
sofa. Jessica still had Dale wrapped around her waist as she laid her
head on his chest.
Soon Jessica realized that Dale had fallen asleep! But, then again, it
has been several hours since he woke up out in the hallway. He gently
removed his arm from around her waist and slowly stood. This proved to be
more difficult than he thought at first; he was used to weighing only
one hundred and eighteen pounds! With a slight grunt he managed to
extricate himself. He bent over and gently brought Dale's torso down
onto the sofa cushion; he then lifted her legs onto it as well. She
murmured something unintelligible but never woke. Jessica stood up and
looked down at the small woman he had once been and felt an incredible
sadness. Gone were his plans for college, working for his father's motel
chain, and eventually getting married and having a baby. In one swift
second all of that was gone.
"My father!" he spoke aloud and was surprised by the sound of the deep
baritone he now possessed. He walked over to the phone and picked it up
- there was no dial tone. All that could be heard was a message that
repeated 'All circuits were busy ' . Just then he heard the television
again and it confirmed his suspicions. "Ladies and gentlemen: martial
law has been declared here in the United States, and for that matter
just about everywhere else in the world at this time.We have reports of
hundreds of plane crashes all over the world as the pilots were no
longer in their bodies. All future flights anywhere and everywhere have
been canceled. Please try to remain calm. All service men and women are
asked to report to their commanding officers as soon as possible. At
this time they are asking that you bring your current body
identification and of course your social security number for real
identification. All fire and police officers are requested to do the
same. All power plant employees and officials are required to do the
same. Nuclear power plants are under lock down. And all banks are hereby
closed until further notice. The ATM's are also off line until further
notice. Remain calm and try to stay where you are. Again. Try to remain
calm and stay where you are. Updates will follow on a regular basis.
Please stay tuned to CNN."
Jessica hung up the telephone. His now very large hand was shaking
visibly."What now indeed" he said as he sat down at the kitchen table.
Momentarily, he heard a more familiar sound - it was his stomach. It was
grumbling and very loudly. He realized that he was hungry like he had
never been before. He got up and went to the refrigerator and looked
inside - in it were the makings for a garden salad and some fruit. Milk
and eggs. Some cheese and bacon.Yogurt and cottage cheese and a bottle
of wine. Jessica doubted very much that any of the contents of the
refrigerator were going to satisfy the hunger that he felt. He somehow
knew that he needed to eat - and eat a lot!
A light bulb went off and Jessica wondered what Dale had in her
refrigerator across the hall. He decided to go take a look and left the
apartment. He opened the door and saw that the door to her apartment was
left open with the key in the lock. He crossed the hall leaving the
doors to both apartments open.'It would be safer this way' he thought,
and kept his ears open for any unusual sounds. He made his way to the
kitchen and noticed the many vitamin bottles on the counter top and a
blender nearby. Also nearby was a very large container of protein
powder, a food scale and measuring cups. All of this was neatly arranged
at the back of the counter top. 'This guy was serious for sure'he
thought. Well, right now he was hungry and his stomach was growling
again. And he even was beginning to feel a little light headed. He
opened the fridge and found it stuffed with food! He stood and gazed at
the dozens of eggs and several gallons of milk. He counted no less than
four gallons! There were also plenty of fruits and fresh veggies as
well. He opened the freezer and found lots of frozen meats - mostly
chicken and fish. So, he was a meat eater! But now was not the time to
worry about that. He closed the freezer and looked below once again at
the fridge's contents. All this food and he wanted something now! He
rolled his eyes and again noticed the can of protein powder on the
counter top. He closed the fridge and went over and picked it up. He
read the label and realized that it was meals in a can. 'OK, fine! I'll
just drink my first meal as a man!'he thought to himself.
The directions called for three cups of milk and six eggs! And four
heaping scoops of the powder. Also, if he wanted to he could add some
fruit for taste. Jessica followed the directions and added a banana to
the mix. The blender made a lot of noise, but he didn't care. When he
switched off the blender it only emphasized the extreme quiet that
seemed to permeate the world. It gave Jessica the chills and he felt the
hairs raise up on the back of his neck.'Just drink your dinner
Jessica.'he said to himself, 'and you will be fine.' He found a glass in
the cupboard and poured himself dinner.
"Down the hatch."he said aloud, shaking his head as the sound of his new
voice reverberated in the silence. Jessica emptied the glass and quickly
poured another. It wasn't bad, the banana helped a lot. After the second
glass he was still hungry! He opened the fridge once again and retrieved
a couple of apples. And another banana from the counter top hoping that
it would be enough. He decided to try to relax and found the television
in the living room. He turned it on and switched it to CNN. He noted
that the same announcer was on the screen and turned and made a bee line
for the couch. He was somewhat startled by the sound that the cushions
made as his bulk hit them. The announcer was still repeating his earlier
announcements and Jessica found it rather boring to be reminded once
again about his all to real circumstances. But there was nothing else on
the tube and tried to make the best of it. He finished the fruit and sat
back on the sofa and looked about the room.
'It could use a woman's touch' he thought. Jessica started to laugh and
was quite surprised at the rumble that found it's way up his diaphragm
and out into the room. He looked down at himself and said: "A woman's
touch? " 'Now that was a good one'he thought! But the room really did
need one. On the walls were photographs of what must be Dale's
bodybuilding heroes. There were photographs of Arnold, Zane, and someone
named Yates. Jessica only knew this because not only were they signed,
but their names had been imprinted on the bottom of each commercially
sold photo. He wondered what it was that possessed some to change their
bodies so drastically. Jessica thought that some of the women that he
had seen on the boardwalk looked rather freakish with highly pronounced
jaw lines and muscles all over. They definitely crossed some kind of
line. The men were guilty of this too, and the proof was in the Yates
photo. 'Gross!'Jessica thought. At one and the same time Jessica
realized that he could now look just like anyone of these guys in the
photos - a shiver went down his spine.
No time like the present! Jessica got up and went and checked on Dale.
She was still asleep. He went into the kitchen and grabbed a pen and
paper. He left her a note telling her he was across the hall. Jessica
grabbed the keys to what used to be his apartment and locked the door
behind him. Jessica didn't want anybody to bother either of them. He
locked the door behind him and entered Dale's apartment. It was time to
check out his new body.
Jessica closed the door behind him and locked it. As he made his way
through the kitchen he tossed the keys to his apartment on the kitchen
table. Jessica stood there briefly, oh so briefly. He slowly began to
walk towards Dale's bedroom and as he did he pulled the tee shirt that
he was wearing up and over his head removing it. Jessica let go of it
and it fell to the floor. He entered the bedroom and found a king sized
bed and a full bedroom set. There were some small dumbbells on the floor
and in one corner of the room stood a full length mirror. 'It figures,'
thought Jessica.
Jessica was anxious to say the least - but like death and taxes there
was little to be done about it. He advanced towards the mirror and was
greeted by Dale's very handsome face and spiked blonde hair. He looked
down at his torso and was met with a virtual living diagram of the male
musculature. Jessica knew Dale was built - but had never had the
opportunity to see him without some kind of clothing on. He tried to
catch his breath and relax - but it wasn't working very well. He reached
up and ran a very large finger from the base of his throat down through
the crevace of what obviously looked to be two very well developed
pectorals. And still further down was a very ridged set of abdominal
muscles. Jessica could not see any fat anywhere!
Jessica noticed that his nipples, now much smaller than before, were
tucked under the slabs of muscle that made up his chest. His pectorals
moved visibly with every movement of his arms. He lifted one of his arms
and noticed that he had no arm pit hair - in fact he could not see any
body hair at all.
Jessica brought his right hand up and ran the palm along his jaw. He
could feel stubble beginning to grow back. Jessica wondered not only
what it would feel like to grow a beard, but what he would look like
with one.Would it be blonde like his hair? Or maybe it would be red like
some of the blonde men he had seen. He felt nature's call. He had a full
bladder. "Oh, great!" Jessica said aloud. "Well, let's get it over
with." He went into the bathroom and turned on the light. Jessica
noticed Dale's electric shaver and toothbrush on the vanity top. He kept
walking towards the toilet - the seat was already up.
"Oh, that's right! I can do this standing up." 'But do I really want
to?'he thought? He felt the urgency getting worse and decided to just
let it rip. Jessica grabbed the top of the loose fitting gym pants he
was wearing and yanked them down. He stood over the toilet looking at
the wall for he didn't know how long. Jessica swallowed hard and looked
down. He was stunned. It was huge. 'Why not, the rest of me was?'he
thought. He took it in his right hand and was met by a sensation that he
could not have prepared himself for.The utter fragility of it compared
to the rest of his body. Somehow it felt even more sensitive than his
breasts had been. Jessica had no idea how to start the equipment to
relieve his bladder. He decided to try to relax and picture it emptying.
He closed his eyes and relaxed. It seemed to be working. He could feel
the urine travel as it made it's way out of his body.
Suddenly, Jessica heard an unusual sound. A splattering. He opened his
eyes and looked down. He was missing the bowl of the toilet altogether!
"Shit!"he shouted, and redirected the stream into the bowl. It smelled
awful, and was deep yellow in color. Jessica was shocked at how much his
bladder held! When he was done he grabbed a piece of toilet paper to
wipe the head of his new penis off with. Jessica jumped back at the
touch!
"Oh, my God!" and that was just toilet paper he thought.
Jessica looked down and realized that he neglected to inspect his lower
extremities. He pulled his pants down to the floor and stepped out of
them. Totally nude, Jessica walked back to the full length mirror. His
reflection was like before, only now he could take in the full effect.
He possessed a capital 'V ' torso that was held up by two telephone
poles. Striated with muscles from waist to ankle his legs looked like
they got this way from carrying the rest of him around!
Jessica's penis did not simply hang between his legs like slighter built
men - it lay on top of his upper thighs. And his thighs were so large
they touched each other as he stood. "No wonder I walk like I do. These
leg muscles roll around each other as I walk."he said. Jessica turned
around with his back to the mirror and looked - he discovered a very
large ass. Jessica didn't know it but his large ass was standard for a
bodybuilder. As a male's legs grew larger from lifting heavy weights so
did his rear. Jessica put one of his hands to it - it was hard - very
hard and protruded out from the small of his back. He brought his face
up to the mirror and once more was greeted by Dale's very handsome
features. "Hi there!"Jessica said with a nervous smile.
Jessica took a deep breath and his eyes went big as he noticed his chest
rise and fall in the mirror. The effect was not subtle in the least. He
stood there just staring for a moment noticing that his arms hung down
from impossibly wide shoulders. He brought a hand up and ran it through
his short blonde hair. Jessica missed his long auburn locks. He missed
the weight of his breasts as they hung from his chest. He looked at his
chest now and realized that it did not bounce. Everything about this
body was big and tight with a great tan over it. Jessica wasn't sure he
was going to be able to cope with this.

Dale awoke once again to the soft sound of the television announcer. She
laid on the sofa and looked at the screen still not sure who the
announcer was. Apparently things had developed since she had fallen
asleep. The nation was still under marshall law and the airports closed
- but the telephones not working and the banks closed were news to her.
As was the list of occupations that were required to show up no matter
what body they occupied. Doctors, nurses, firemen, and police officers.
The military was a given as well. Also asked to come forward was anyone
with any kind of experience with lie detector equipment. The plan was to
test for identity. It may not be admissible in a court of law as
evidence but it seemed a logical course of action. The hospitals were
being bombarded with people claiming all kinds of things - many hoping
to be put back where they once were.A medical alert was in place until
further notice - as it was obvious that an infant could suddenly be a
seventy year old and not know how to walk or talk. Everyone was being
asked to look in on their neighbors.
Now that was something Dale just wasn't ready to do. "Maybe
tomorrow."she said aloud to herself. She sat up on the sofa and looked
down at her female chest. Only hours ago she was getting a hard on just
by the sight of it. Dale brought a hand up and cupped her right breast.
She could immediately tell that it was firm and ample. She got up and
walked towards Jessica's bedroom. Dale had to take this damn bra off -
and right now! In her bedroom Dale noticed perfumes on the dresser top
with mirrors and combs. Makeup products were also placed in an orderly
fashion along the back of the dresser top. She looked in the mirror and
saw Jessica's beautiful face looking back at her. A weak smiled crossed
her face.
Dale began to remove the yellow summer dress that Jessica had put on
earlier in the morning. It buttoned down the front which made it simple
enough. She let it fall to the floor. Dale now stood in bra and panties
before the mirror. Jessica's tanned skin ? now Dale?s skin - was soft to
the touch. Dale now had long chestnut hair that fell to her shoulders.
It was a mess of course. She tried to grab the clasp of the bra but
could not reach it. She pulled down the straps and turned it around to
the front. She unclasped it, and her breasts fell free. They were a
glory to behold in their freedom. The nipples began to become erect as
the cool air met her naked skin. Dale stared at them in the mirror for
what seemed like an eternity. She could feel the weight of them more so
without the bra. It was a trade off, she realized. The constriction of
the bra for the relief of the weight. Dale bent over and picked up the
bra - the tag said she was a C cup. Now for the panties...
Jessica stood before the mirror and decided he had better get dressed.
Dale might be waking up soon and he didn't want to leave her alone. But
Jessica didn't necessarily want to put the same clothes back on. He
walked over to the dresser and pulled open a drawer. In it he found sox
and underwear. He pulled out some underwear and found that it was all
pouch like - some were the bikini variety, while still others had some
legging that seemed to go to mid-thigh. Jessica knew he wouldn't be
going anywhere tonight and decided against socks. He pulled out some
briefs and lifted up his right leg - inserting his foot through the
opening. Soon enough he was pulling them up towards what some called the
'family jewels'. Jessica shrugged his shoulders and gently lifted his
new package and placed it into the pouch - afterwards he pulled the
briefs the rest of the way up. Jessica turned and looked at his
reflection in the mirror. The black briefs looked incredibly small on
his now larger than life frame. He felt ridiculous and out of place.
Jessica turned back to the dresser and opened another drawer. He found
countless tank tops and tee shirts - huge ones. He just shook his head
and opened another drawer. In this drawer Jessica found some sweaters;
some that you pulled over and some that buttoned up the front. It was
too warm for these and he closed the drawer and continued on with his
search. In the bottom drawer he found sweat bands, a jock strap ( he
thought? ), Dale's Speedo swimsuit and some other workout apparel.
Jessica closed that drawer and stood up and took a deep breath. Thinking
that the rest must be in the closet he walked over to it and opened it.
Bingo! Hanging from the racks were blue jeans, some dress pants (a few),
a few dress shirts and not much else. On the shelf above he noticed were
extra blankets and sheets and a few towels. That brightly colored one
must be his beach towel, or so he thought. He dropped his vision down to
the jeans and grabbed a pair from the rod. Jessica plopped down on the
bed to put them on and was again startled at his weight. The thought ran
through his head that he?d have to find out just how much he weighed as
he began to pull on the jeans.
Jessica stood up as one usually does while putting on a pair of pants
and pulled them up. The jeans were a little snug - but they would do.
Fastening up the jeans meant mashing in his new found gonads to zip them
up. Either these jeans he was wearing were a little too tight, or Dale
had been born with an extra large dick? Jessica adjusted the waist so
that he was comfortable and let it go at that. Right now he needed a
shirt. He pulled open the drawer knew contained Dale's tee shirts and
found a standard 'Fruit of the Loom' white. It was huge, but now so was
he. Jessica pulled it on over his head. He looked in the mirror - the
shirt, as big as it was, did nothing to hide his chest. Or his biceps.
Oh, it was a little baggy alright - but the fabric pulled somewhat
tightly across his chest. And it was tight in the arms, but only when he
bent his arms. Jessica was beginning to see why Dale walked about in
sporting attire most of the time. Regular clothes were a bitch. So,
there he stood taking inventory of his new appearance - and finding that
he was somewhat embarrassed by not only the rather large bulge in his
jeans, but his other bulges as well. Jessica took a breath and tried to
relax - it seemed he was doing that a lot. But, it wasn't everyday that
- he turned and threw himself onto Dale's king sized bed causing some
serious bouncing. He started sobbing again.
******
Dale dressed in a tee shirt and a pair of Jessica's jeans. 'Keep it
simple stupid', is exactly what she thought. She found Jessica's note on
the kitchen table and decided to check up on her - er, him. She shook
her head and walked out the door closing the door to Jessica?s apartment
behind her. Dale noticed that it took more steps to cross the hall than
it used to. She tried to turn the knob and enter but found it locked.
Surprised, she knocked and waited - no response. Dale knocked again
louder - noticing that it was starting to hurt her hand. Before she
could start to knock once again, she heard and felt a heavy thud. And
then a voice.
"Dale, is that you?" she heard through the door.
"Yes, let me in would you?"she asked. She heard the bolt turn in the
lock and the door opened.
Dale's eyes took in a sad sight. She found heerself looking up into the
face that had once been hers - it was tear streaked and flushed from
crying. Dale didn't even bother to ask why - she already knew. Her heart
went out to the girl ? um, man. Dale also could see that he had changed
his clothes. 'I'm sure that he didn't realize it, but he was wearing
what I usually wore to work as a bouncer at the Venice Bar. Somehow, the
bar seemed like a lifetime ago.'she thought.
"Thanks,"she said, as she walked on by him and entered the apartment.
She heard him close the door behind her and lock it. He followed her
into the living room where she was already seated on the sofa. Jessica
made himself comfortable in the overstuffed chair - the chair Dale liked
to sit and watch the football games in. It made Dale sad thinking of
football. Oh, she knew that she could watch it on television all that
she wanted to - but she would probably never play it again - not in this
body anyway. She looked at him sitting in the chair looking so sad.
"Have a nice nap Dale?"he suddenly asked Dale with a kind smile. It felt
strange to Dale to be looking at her former body. Her jaw fell open.
Dale saw her former face move and heard her former baritone voice
without her assistance? Weird, did not even begin to cover any of this.
Dale saw Jessica take a deep breath and noticed the material of
Jessica?s shirt react.
"What?", she heard her now female voice ask as she brought her eyes up
to Jessica's face.
"I asked you if you had a nice nap."he repeated.
"Oh, yes, yes I did. I guess I still needed that nap after this
morning?s workout after all."she replied with a short chuckle.
"I never really got tired after I woke up out there in the hall
earlier."he said.
"Is that where you found yourself?"she inquired.
Jessica nodded her masculine head: "Do you remember passing out when you
opened the door and saw me standing there in the hall?"he asked with his
steely blue eyes looking directly at her.
"Barely"she responded. "Barely."
"Shock.",was all that he said, as he sat in the chair and continued to
look at Dale. It was Dale's turn to nod.
"I seem to be full of adrenaline. I am not much of a cook. And I hope
you don't mind, but there was nothing in my refrigerator that seemed to
appeal to me. So, I came over here. I was never so hungry in all of my
life! To be quick about it, I made myself one of your protein drinks
with a banana. And after two glasses of the stuff I was still hungry, so
I had a couple of apples and another banana. It seemed to do the trick.
My stomach stopped it's growling."explained Jessica
Dale nodded and slowly closed her eyes and opened them once more looking
him in the eye. "I'm sorry you got so hungry Jessica, but lunchtime for
me, or rather you, was approximately the time that all this shit hit the
fan."she explained as she held up both of her slender long arms. Jessica
shifted in his chair and said : "Hey, it's OK, I worked it out."
There was an awkward silence between them that lasted just a little too
long.
"I think we had better talk."she said flatly.
"That is probably the understatement of the year."he said with a broad
smile. Then he added - "Girls first."
Jessica could hardly wait to hear what Dale had to say as he sat in the
chair. He knew he had lots of questions - but all in due time. He took
another deep breath feeling the material of his shirt tighten some. He
grimaced, but said nothing. He did see that Dale looked at him rather
oddly for a moment but she said nothing. That was fine with him. Jessica
looked about the apartment while he waited for her to say something - He
remembered his 'woman's touch' remark about his surroundings and stifled
a chuckle. How insane was it to be so concerned with such things at a
time like this? A knock at the door brought him out of his silent
repose. He looked at Dale with large eyes. She only mirrored his look.
They sat for a few seconds in complete silence - then they heard knock
on the door. Frozen, they sat there both looking at the other wondering
what to do? Then they heard a woman's voice calling. Jessica let out a
deep sigh. He recognized the voice - it was Mrs. Halloway the apartment
manager. He stood and motioned for Dale to stay where she was. He walked
to the door and looked through the peep hole. Confirming that it was at
least the body of Mrs. Halloway, Jessica asked if she was alone.
"Yes, I'm alone."he heard her say. "Dale, is that you?"
Jessica opened the door and peered down at the small woman looking
distraught and anxious. Jessica's new height was going to take some
getting used to. Before he could say a word she said: "Hi Dale, I was
hoping I would find you at home. It's me Sarah Halloway. I'm sorry to
bother you but I just didn't know what else to do. The television says
to be careful in these situations but I just don't have the strength to
move him" By this time Dale had walked up and stood next to Jessica
inside the small entry way. Jessica looked at Dale and then back at Mrs.
Halloway. Then it dawned on Jessica what it was that she was asking him
to do. She needed his muscles.
"Hello Mrs. Halloway. I would be glad to help you but first we have to
clear up a little confusion. I'm Jessica Larson, this is Dale
Jorgenson."he explained as Dale nodded.
"Oh, my. All right"she said with a rather screwed up expression on her
face.
"Call me Jess. Jessica just doesn't seem to fit anymore."he asked, as he
looked down at his new physique.
"Just what is the problem?"asked Dale.
"Please, call me Sarah. It's my husband. When I came back upstairs from
the laundry room in the basement he was passed out on the living room
floor. He hasn't moved since and I can't seem to wake him. Our baby is
acting peculiarly, but being only six months old?"
"Sarah, do you think it possible that they switched?" Jess asked.
"I think so, but I don't have the strength to move him."she replied in a
very small voice.
Jess smiled. "No problem. Let's go"
All three of them made their way to the Halloway apartment down the
hall. Most of the screaming and fighting had ended some time ago. Now
all that could be heard in the hall was the sound of televisions. And
only one channel: CNN. They walked into the apartment and found the man
lying still on the floor. The television was of course still on but the
sound was off. It was a typical married couple apartment with the usual
wedding photographs on the wall and a few cheaply framed 'Home
Interiors' wall hangings. Littered about in one corner was a few toys
for a very small child. Jess however didn't see the child and thought
that the infant was probably napping. "Where would you like me to move
him to, Sarah?"asked Jess.
"The bedroom, I guess. On the bed."her eyes pleading with him as she
spoke.
"That's fine."replied Jess calmly. He bent his knees and lowered himself
down beside the man's body. Jess had no idea how much the man weighed
but it was not difficult for him to lift the man up from the floor. Jess
then followed Sarah into the bedroom where the bed covers were already
turned down. He laid the man's body on the bed and straightened up.
"Thank you."said Sarah with tears in her eyes.
Jess shrugged his shoulders. "No problem"he said.
"How are you doing?"asked Dale.
"Uh, I don't know. I didn't switch. I don't know why. This feels so
surreal. When I couldn't wake him up I tried to get an ambulance; but
the phone circuits were all busy. And they still are! When I finally
figured out that something was very wrong with the world, I turned on
the television. It has been on ever since"
"I can understand how totally weird this all must be for you. But, I
want you to come and get either of us if you need any help. OK? We're
just down the hall. And if you need anything from outside I would be
happy to go and get it for you."offered Dale.
"Thank you, I will do that."said Sarah.
Jess looked about the bedroom not really noticing anything out of the
ordinary. More, ' Home Interiors ' decorations on the wall. Both men's
and women's clothing lying in a heap - the laundry he guessed. He turned
his attention back to Sarah.
"Is there anything else we can do for you, Sarah? "he asked.
"No, but thank you again, very much."she said.
They filed out of her bedroom and said their good-byes at the door.
After Sarah closed it they heard the bolt turn in the lock, and shortly
thereafter the sound of the television. They walked in silence back to
Dale's apartment. Jess was the first to speak once they were back inside
in the same seats that they had before.
"I know I said 'girls first' but I have something to say right now that
needs to be said. What you said to Sarah is all fine and dandy - but you
are not going anywhere without me."he said with a glare.
Dale's brow furrowed. She didn't understand the point that Jess was
trying to make.
"Dale, it's dangerous out there alone. You are female now and there is no
way in hell I'm going to let the two of you go anywhere without me!"
Realization dawned as she looked at Jess.
"I've only been female for a few hours, you will have to forgive me."she
said.
Jess' countenance did not change as he looked at her."I mean it Dale. I
know that I don't know how to be a fighting man yet, but they don't know
that. I'm sure that you can understand that my size is a big plus."
Dale slowly nodded. She knew all too well.
*From this chapter forward the male character of Jessica will be known
as Jess.
Chapter Three
"wow!"
She knew he was right. The first things guys do is check each other out.
Oh, not like that. The first thing she used to do was give a guy a
visual once over - trying to ascertain if she could ' take him 'or not.
It was a natural, persistent behavior that has gone on forever. Men
having the muscles - have been the protectors of not only their mate and
offspring, but the herd as well. She was sure, like everything else,
they'll find a gene for it one day. So, here she sat, looking at Jess
who was staring at her with those steely blue eyes - they pierced her
defenses. For the first time Dale felt very small.
"Do you want to hear my story or not?"she shot back. She was hoping to
dispel the laser like gaze that was gripping her.
"Just so that we are clear Dale - "he said icily.
"We are."she interrupted. "There is no need to beat a dead horse." She
was getting a little bit irritated.
Jess' facial expression relaxed and he looked out the sliding glass
doors that opened to the deck - signaling that it was now a closed
matter. Dale shuffled on the sofa making herself comfortable against
it's back. She took a breath and gathered her thoughts. It was time to
begin.
"Well, obviously you know that I am a - or was a bodybuilder." This was
harder to say than she thought as she looked at the massive frame that
sat in the chair across the room from her. He nodded briefly and looked
at her as she continued. "I'm twenty four years old and I grew up in San
Diego. I attend UCLA on a part time basis earning a degree in business.
I'm roughly half way through. I work at - worked at the Venice Bar as a
bouncer to pay the bills. I have been working there since I turned
twenty one. One of the bartenders works out at the gym and helped me get
the job there."nodding as she smiled politely.
"Most of the time I just had to intimidate people with my size and they
pretty much did as I said."she explained. Dale was feeling a little bit
foolish now that their positions were reversed - but the feeling didn't
last long. Especially when Dale remembered her - how should she put it?
Promise? Dale shrugged and continued. "My goals have pretty much been
built around bodybuilding since I was fifteen. I discovered at that time
that I was genetically gifted and grew easily." Jess' brow furrowed
indicating he didn't understand.
"Grew?"he asked shaking his head from side to side.
"It's a term used to describe the process of muscle growth."she
explained flatly.
"Oh."
"Well, anyway, I lived with my parents in San Diego at the time and as
soon as I was able to I entered a contest." As she said this she found
she was not really looking at Jess but looking about the room. Dale
looked at the trophies on the shelf on the wall across from her - the
photographs of some of her heroes that were signed and framed on the
wall - the many books on nutrition and exercises and form. Dale realized
that she was wandering in her thoughts and gave Jess a quick look. His
gaze was intent, he appeared not to notice.
"I won Mr. San Diego when I was just seventeen years old."she said
quickly."The prize money wasn't a lot but I got hooked. Since then I
have placed second place or better. Mr. California is in six weeks. It
doesn't look like I'm going to make that one." she said slowly. She
looked at Jess.
"Don't look at me!" he said in a noticeably louder voice. "I don't know
the first thing about it!"
"Funny,"she said, "you sure look like you do!"
The look on his face was priceless. "Close your mouth Jess, I was just
kidding."
"Funny, very funny!"he said, in a deep measured fashion as he glared at
her.
Dale couldn't resist the temptation. She was like that - playfully
sarcastic at times. She was goal driven. And she could be aggressive. At
least that was the way she used to be. Did she miss being male already?
Was her remark really a playful aside or an attack? Oh well, it was too
late to backpedal. She was digressing.
"My life before today, before a few hours ago, was fairly boring. What
you see here in this apartment is pretty much what you get. I was never
really one to put on airs - I was raised that way."Dale said. "I don't
really know any other way to be. I can be a loyal friend. I can be
depended on when I'm needed." Having said this she glanced back at Jess
whose eyes were still taking her in. He nodded when she made eye contact
- indicating for her to continue.
"I have one brother, Andrew, who lives with his wife up in Oregon. He is
a few years older that I am." Dale paused for a moment and let out a
deep breath. "I am worried about my brother."she said anxiously, "And I
have parents on a vacation in Europe that I don't know how to
contact."she explained as she looked at the floor. Dale was surprised by
the tear that ran down her cheek. She considered herself to be an open
person, but it had been a very long time since she cried. "It will be
all right." She heard him say as he got up out of the chair and crossed
the room towards her. He kneeled down on the floor in front of her with
a look of concern and compassion on his face. Dale felt more tears fall
down her cheeks. Jess raised his huge arms offering to give her a hug.
It was the second time that Dale found herself in the man's arms.
"It will be all right,"Jess said, as he held her for the second time in
his arms. He did his best to calm her. It lasted for a moment and then
she raised her head up from his shoulder. The only difference giving
someone comfort as a male, that Jess could tell, so far - was the
feeling of her breasts as they pressed against his torso - but he had to
admit it was just a little bit unsettling to be looking at her former
self as he did so. Jess looked at her facial expression - and saw fear
grappling with reason.
"I promise, it will be all right. I don't know how - but we are all in
this together - of that I am sure." Jess told her.
She looked at him silently and nodded, sniffing in the process. Her
eyes, watery from tears, gently closed as she said "Thank you, I will
try to remember that." Jess released her from his embrace as he nodded.
He got back on his feet and returned to the chair he had been sitting
in. Thoughts of my father in Santa Cruz ran through his head. Jess
remembered the unsuccessful phone call and a spike of fear went through
him. He was all Jess had.
"I haven't cried since my dog died when I was a boy."she said softly.
"And to suddenly let out a torrent - well, it's just overwhelming"
"I understand completely,"chuckling somewhat as he said the words,"Don't
worry about it." She seemed relieved by his statement. Jess thought it a
little odd, we were all in this boat together. Perhaps it was Dale's
male ego at work - or possibly it was just simple embarrassment and
nothing more. It didn't matter, really.
"I have been thinking,"she said, "perhaps you might have some questions
for me. I mean I've told you who I am - or was, that is. I can't think
of much else - I'm not rich, nor am I in line for anything like that. I
just wanted a better life for myself - hence, my two pronged approach -
a college degree and bodybuilding. What few friends I have were gym rats
like I used to be. Now, I wonder, what has happened to them?"
Jess sighed visibly, he too, had people he cared about and had no idea
what has become of them. In time, he supposed, in time all would be
told. Jess glanced up from his inner thoughts and saw that she was
patiently waiting for a response.
"I do have a few questions." he said, as he tried not to look at her
breasts.
"OK." she replied, taking a couple of breaths to steady herself. "Go
ahead."
"How much do I weigh?" Jess had an idea but was not sure. Dale smiled
slightly and simply said: "Two hundred and forty three pounds.Your body
fat is just six percent."
Jess weighed more than he had thought. Oh, well.
"How come I am sore?"he asked her.
Dale rolled her eyes and said, "From the workout this morning. You will
be a little bit more sore tomorrow, but nothing serious.Your body is
very used to it. You really don't know anything about bodybuilding do
you?"she quickly added.
"I told you I didn't, it was the truth."Jess said somewhat petulantly.
"Well, it entails mostly diet and exercise and rest. The rest is
essential to give muscles time to recuperate - grow."she explained.
"I see." Dale noticed a rather faraway look in his eyes and paused.
"Dale, why is it that I had such trouble putting on a simple pair of
jeans? I mean, jeans just shouldn't be this uncomfortable." he stated as
he adjusted his groin.
"Oh - that. I just finished a cycle and I gained considerable inches and
more than a few pounds of muscle in the process over the last few
months." Jess' brow furrowed.
"Drugs. A cycle of drugs. Steroids, Jess."she emphasized.
Jess' eyes got big, and he got up and walked over to the sliding glass
doors. He looked outside at the abandoned cars in the street and the
deafening silence that seemed to permeate the world.
He turned to Dale - "And what will happen if I don't take anymore of
these drugs?"
She shrugged. " Nothing much. You would probably lose a few pounds and
your body wouldn't be quite so defined."
Jess nodded. "OK, well, in light of world events I opt not to take
anymore of these drugs."
"Fine, I can't make you now can I?"she pointed out.
Jess silently shook his head in the negative.
"What about my appetite - will I always get that hungry?"he asked, he
truly hoped not.
"Yes, and no.Today, was the exception. You went too long without food.
But, that having been said - I do have a rather large appetite. Muscles
need energy to work. They also need energy to grow - and energy is
food." Whether Jess liked it or not - apparently he was getting a crash
course in bodybuilding 101. As she went on about diet, discipline, and
weight routines Jess realized one thing ? he hated bodybuilding. Jess
started to squirm in his seat; it took Dale a minute to notice.
Unfortunately for Jess, she misread his discomfort.
Dale furrowed her brow and slapped her forehead! "Ok - Jess, body
mechanics 101 is now in session." Jess gave her a quick glance and then
looked down at his new anatomy. "Look, there's nothing to be ashamed of.
Guys squirm all the time because the unit needs nearly constant
adjustment for the guy to be comfortable. I can only assume that you
noticed your penis is rather large - and it is very sensitive."she added
slowly. Jess remembered the toilet paper incident and nodded.
"I know right now that you probably don't believe me - but in a sense
its true - a guy's penis tends to have a mind of its own. You're going
to find that it is an insistent organ. And by that I can't explain -
you're just going to have to find that out for yourself. Don't be
alarmed if you wake up tomorrow with a 'woody '. It's normal, and
usually goes down after you take a leak - or use it."
By the look on his face Dale could see that she had misread the
situation.
"Use it?" Jess asked. Dale quietly nodded and felt an odd flushing in
her face. She found that she was somewhat embarrassed explaining certain
facts to him. She wondered if she was dealing with a virgin. Dale had
seen the female Jessica at the beach earlier as 'he' was working out ?
but somehow Dale didn't think so.
Jess' head was spinning. The last hour or so had been an emotional
roller coaster ride. He needed a break. He got up quickly and said: "I
think I want to be alone for awhile. Can we finish this later?"
There was an awkward silence as he looked down at her on the sofa,
looking so small and vulnerable as he towered over her.
"Sure," she replied as she looked up at him with a mixture of concern
and surprise." "Do you want to stay here where your body belongs or go
back to your apartment?"
Jess looked about Dale's apartment and decided to stay - besides the
food was here!
"If it's OK with you? I'd like to stay here."he said.
"That's fine. I will be across the hall if you need me, or want to talk
some more." Jess followed her as she got up and went to the door. She
turned and gave him a strange look.
"What? "he asked.
"It's just that I don't want to be alone all night." she said without
looking at me.
"You won't be,."he said. She looked up at him and smiled. " I just need
time to think and try to relax. Watch the news and let me know if
anything develops, K?"
She nodded and followed his movements with her eyes as he opened the
door. They went back to Jessica's apartment and made sure that things
were as they left them - safe. As Jess opened the door to leave he
showed her he had the door key to get back in.
"Keep the door locked. It's only six, I'll knock on the door in a few
hours, all right?
"See you then." she calmly said.
Jess opened the door and went out into the hallway closing the door
behind him. He stood for a few moments sort of numb there in the hall.
All he could hear was CNN echoing in the hall from some television
somewhere. "Shit." was the only word out of his mouth as he crossed the
hall and went back inside Dale's apartment.
Jess stood and took in the overall place. 'Was this to be my new reality
- vitamins, protein drinks, and exercise routines?'he thought. He felt
frustrated to say the least - like his destiny had been written for him.
He had no idea what had become of his father. He was all Jess had since
his mother died five years ago. His father's office headquarters were in
San Francisco. But that just as well may be thousands of miles away
right now. He felt like he needed to talk to him - like whenever he had
a problem that he just couldn't handle or solve. But this? 'Daddy, your
little girl has a penis now. Tell me how it works.' The only thing
keeping him from not going bonkers at the moment was the fact that there
were now millions of former women that now had male equipment. Jess was
not unique in his o
