Outside a very nicely decorated upper middle class house is a mailbox
that reads The Hamiltons. A very lovely woman goes out to get the morning
paper.
A neighbor waves cheerfully at her.
"Hello, Laura!"
Laura Hamilton waves back. "Morning, Beth."
They talk for a moment, then Laura smiles her charming smile and says,
"I'd love to chat more but I've got to get Jake ready for school! You
know, boys!" she adds.
"Don't I know!" nods Beth in agreement. "I have three of my own."
Laura grins and shakes her head like moms all over the world and shuts
the front door behind her.
What's going on inside is very typical. A Mom - very attractive in this
case - is smiling at her son Jake who looks about 11. "Morning dear, how
did you sleep?"
He yawned. "Just fine, Mom. What's for breakfast?"
"Bacon and eggs and toast, dear."
He grinned. "Great! You sure spoil me, Mom. Most kids get Pop Tarts or
something gross and are hungry the rest of the day."
"Well, as I always say - "
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I know, Mom, you've
been saying that to me ever since I was a little kid."
She ruffled his hair fondly. "I didn't know that!" she laughed.
He grinned at her. "You're in a good mood this morning... You know, Mom,"
he looked at her critically, "it's not just me - all my friends think so
too, but you're the prettiest Mom around."
She laughed. "Thanks, but you still have to take the bus, Jake."
He boy joined her laughter. "You know me too well, Mom."
She faked an obvious thoughtful look. "I do believe you're right! Come to
think of it, I do believe I've known you all your life."
Jake snorted with derision and dug in as only an eleven-year-old boy can
into his breakfast, wolfing it down.
She shook her head. "Do you have to gulp your food, Jake?"
"Hummpt!" he said with his mouth full.
Later as he was putting on his backpack for school his Mom asked, "I hope
you've brushed your teeth, Jake?"
He looked shifty. "Sure did, Mom."
She made to go into his bathroom. "I suppose if I check your toothbrush
it will be wet and there'll be fresh toothpaste in the front of the
tube?"
Grumbling he went back in to brush his teeth. His Mom shook her head.
"Honestly, dear, when are you going to grow up?"
Laura kissed him goodbye and waved and he waved back. She watched him run
with his usual energy and board the school bus a few hundred feet from
their house. She watched it drive out of sight and smiled with
satisfaction.
Laura looked to be in her middle twenties, even though she was 31. She
was very pretty with long auburn hair a trim figure and a lovely face. It
was easy to believe that all Jake's friends thought she was the most
beautiful Mom anyone at FDR School had. Her clothes and jewelry were
elegant and fashionable and expensive. She whirled around in front of a
mirror and her skirt revealed some great legs.
She smiled happily and walked gracefully over to the phone. She dialed a
number.
Laura heard a familiar male voice on the other end and smiled happily.
"Hey dad, you're just not going to believe this," said the real Jake,
"but our plan is working great...I mean acting like I've always been Mom
has her convinced nothing has changed!" Jake giggled. "These last two
weeks have finally got to her. She's really thinking she's always been me
now. She went off to school today like a little lamb. I think you'll be
proud of 'our' new son and if I may say so your 'new' wife."
"Great work, son! I told you it would work."
"I didn't believe you, but Mom cutting my allowance to five dollars a
week was the last straw and made me desperate enough to try your crazy
idea!" She laughed musically. "Our plan is working just beautifully. This
will sure keep you from going through a nasty and horribly expensive
divorce and do I ever love having authority over Mom for once and not
having to go to school anymore is a great bonus! Now she has the pitiful
allowance and I have her trust fund and money from you. You have no idea,
dad, how great it is for me to have control over all that money and
control over Mom, too. even our maid treats me with respect! " she
giggled. " Betty nows kisses me ass instead of treating me like some sub
human. I love being Mom! I love being in Mom's body. True, I don't like
periods, but it's a lot better than being a miserable boy. And now she's
accepting that she's me."
"Good work, Jake!" said his dad. "I knew you could do it."
Jake swelled with pride.
"But I guess I should get used to calling you 'Laura' now, even in
private."
"You're right, and I guess I should call you Robert or Bob."
"Right, we don't want any slip ups and arouse her suspicions that she's
not really Jake and things are not what they seem."
The lovely 'woman' agreed. "Do you think we're ready for step two of our
master plan?"
"You're on the spot, what do your think, 'Laura'?"
Laura giggled. "Yes, I think so. Why don't you come over for dinner
tonight and we'll see how it goes. I think 'Jake' is ready to accept you
as 'his' dad." She giggled again. "It's too funny, now I'm the Mom and
Mom is me and has to do what 'he' is told and go to school and
everything. At least she's bringing up my old grades!"
Robert laughed. "Well, she always had good grades when she went to
school, so that's hardly surprising. I bet they're surprised at school!
You really hated going there!"
"Ain't that the truth! No more school for me! Now she's the one stuck
being an eleven-year-old boy with all those horrible school years in
front of her. Okay then, I'll see you for dinner. I'll make us something
good. I think I'll make Mom's - I mean MY specialty, Beef Burgundy.
You're really smart, dad - I mean Bob - when I visited you before the
swap you spent the entire two weeks training me to be Mom. Learning to
drive! I love that part; her Mercedes convertible is so cool! And you
hired make up people and cooks and actresses teaching me to be her. God,
I was so sick of watching family videos!"
"But it worked, didn't it - dear'?"
She giggled again. "Sure did! I'm acting more like Mom than Mom ever did.
I love being her rather than a powerless young boy in the middle between
warring parents going through a nasty divorce. It was just awful. I've
even fooled Grandmother - I mean MY mother. Even she thinks I'm Laura. I
am sure this helped convince 'Jake'.
"It's truly weird though, dressing, putting on makeup and moving like Mom
did is now so natural to me. And I find I like being so beautiful and
take care and pride in my appearance. It's more than acting now when I am
being her. I even like reading her Cosmos! Now 'Jake' is reading Harry
Potter!" She laughed a musical, feminine laugh. "I still can't believe
that the stupid Medallion swapped us. Boy, did she freak out that morning
waking up in my bed and in my little boy body. But I kept my cool as you
told me to do and pretended she was having a bad dream and nothing had
changed. Over time she's come to accept it with no more doubts or
questions."
"Well, after all, 'Laura', everyone knows swapping bodies is impossible.
Your mother was always very logical, so logically if she was in your body
she must be you."
"Also, the stupid shrink you found and that I took her to helped. He told
her that 'he' was upset because of our upcoming divorce and was creating
the fantasy of being his Mom to try and bring the family back together
again. And of course that body switching is impossible!"
Robert laughed. "I'm happy that everything is working out. What time
should I come by, 'Laura' dear?"
'Laura' giggled. She could hardly wait to show off to him. "About six as
boys can't eat a late meal and I think 'OUR SON' would like a cozy family
dinner, just like old times."
"Sounds great!"
When Jake came home he found his mother flushed with happy excitement.
"What's up?" he asked, slinging his backpack on the front entrance floor.
He paid no attention as usual to his Mom asking him to put in his room.
"I've got wonderful news, Jake dear. You father is coming over for a nice
family dinner."
His face lit up. "That's great. Dad's really coming over? Maybe we could
be a family again, Mom!"
"Maybe," she said teasingly and kissed him.
"Aw Mom, I'm too old for kisses!"
"To a mother no son is ever too old for kisses. Now put your bag in your
room as I told you, and do your homework so you can spend some time with
your dad."
"Okay, okay," he whined, "but why do I always have to put things in their
proper place. It's a real pain, Mom!"
'Laura' smiled and ignored the usual complaint.
When Robert Hamilton came in 'his son' ran and hugged him. "It's great to
see you again, dad!"
He hugged 'his son' back. "That goes double for me, sport!"
He released 'his son' and lightly kissed 'his wife' on her inviting lips.
"I want my two boys to catch up while I finish dinner," said 'Laura' with
her usual manner and words.
They did so. Later while 'Jake' was washing his hands for dinner she
whispered to Bob, "How did it go? Any suspicions and claims to be 'me'?"
"Not at all! I think our 'son' is cured and accepting himself."
Impulsively Laura embraced him. "That's simply wonderful!" Then she
flushed but didn't regret hugging him, it felt wonderful embracing the
tall, strong handsome man who was now her husband. He looked at her with
smiling eyes and her heart fluttered.
Robert smiled. "I brought wine, your favorite Chat Latour."
"But isn't that awfully expensive?" she asked, flattered.
"It sure is, but both you and the occasion call for it."
Laura flushed, very flattered.
All three of them enjoyed the meal and Laura smiled happily when both her
men complimented her on it.
Laura felt excited and a little drunk. That was a powerful wine! She
looked at her husband and flushed some more. Some erotic longings were in
her body and mind.
Soon Jake was sent off to bed and Robert took his wife's body in his arms
and kissed her. Laura had never felt so alive, so close to anyone in her
life. Her eyes were shining. It wasn't wrong, after all, he was her
husband and her new body was his wife. 'I am Laura now! It is thrilling
to be so beautiful and desirable and to feel so sexy!' she thought,
giggling as she allowed herself to be led into the master bedroom.
A few minutes later Jake snuck out of his room and listened at the door.
The sounds within made him grin. 'Looks like we'll be back together again
and things will be great!'
Well 'Jake' was right. His dad moved back in. Their friends had never
seen them so happy now that they've put their problems behind them. Laura
is a devoted wife and mother and she's wondering if she wants another
child. They certainly could afford it as her husband made a large salary
and her trust fund from her late father brought in three thousand a month
tax free. And she was in charge of all that money! She generously raised
her son's allowance.
A month after they'd moved back together Laura came in on a Saturday
morning as her husband and son were going to shoot some hoops. She loved
seeing her men playing sports together. "I'll going to the Galleria,
Robert," she said with a happy smile. She kissed him lovingly. "They have
a sale on women's shoes in three different stores."
Like husbands everywhere, Robert groaned.
She kissed him and patted his cheek. Her heels clattered a merry tune and
she walked out to her Mercedes convertible. It was so wonderful to be the
lovely Laura, a grown woman with freedom and power and having a loving,
hunky, rich husband. Her friends were so envious of her! Father and son
watched her drive away. They smiled at each other and went inside.
They sat comfortably together in Robert's soundproof den.
"I told you our plot would work like a charm," said a smug 'Jake'.
He nodded ruefully. "I admit I thought you insane when you suggested it.
But it not only worked, we're also all happier than every before. It was
hard pretending we going to divorce and to make things miserable for
Jake."
Jake sat backed relaxed and sprawling like a pre teen boy.
"Now, 'dad', lets not go over old ground. Everything as you admit worked
out for the best. I was so unhappy and frustrated being a woman, a mother
and housewife. I made your life miserable, I made Jake's life miserable.
I think we would have really divorced soon if I hadn't found that
medallion. Now I can go on to the best schools and go into quantum
physics. I so want to be like my late dad and win major prizes, but Mom
wouldn't hear of it and he died when I was 14. I had to go to finishing
school and be a fuckin lady. Oops, sorry for the language, 'dad'. Now I
can be young and male and start my life all over again and live it the
way it should be led! Let Jake have the periods and heels. I know I made
you very unhappy being so unhappy with myself."
He laughed ruefully. "You sure did, but now thanks to your plotting you
are now an eleven-year-old boy and our son is very happy being a wife and
mother and not having to go to school. You know, I've actually grown to
love her as a woman and a wife!"
"It's a mad world!" he laughed. "I love being Mom's spoiled son. I sure
hope she never finds out what we did."
"Of course, she won't. She still giggles at night congratulating herself
on how she was so clever as to fool you into thinking you were Jake."
He poured himself a brandy and his son a root beer. "Here's to crime."
They clinked glasses.
At the mall Laura was so happy. She loved buying shoes and boots. She
tried on dozens! It was wonderful being a beautiful woman and being so
feminine. Her husband loved her so much. She had only one problem -
sometimes she felt so guilty stealing this wonderful body and life from
her former Mom.
