I woke finding myself snuggled in Jasmine's arms. I laid there,
satisfied and happy, and then I suddenly realized...I'm competing in a
beauty pageant tonight.
Holy crap.
I nudged at Jasmine to get her to wake up. "Honey, we have to get
ready."
She woke, smiled at me and caressed my cheek. "You're going to be so
beautiful tonight."
I gave her a playful punch in the arm. "Aren't I beautiful all the
time?" I said, grinning.
"Absolutely," Jasmine replied. I smiled and gave her a big kiss.
We got up, got dressed and then met Sandy for brunch. I had decided to
wear a powder blue dress suit. It was conservative, yet still showed
off my curves. Although we didn't mention what happened last night, I
could tell that Sandy knew what had happened. She had this odd smirk on
her face throughout the meal.
After brunch we gathered my clothes for the evening, and headed off to
the convenction centre. Sandy would accompany me this afternoon and
tonight, but I had to say goodbye to Jasmine, regrettably. I hugged
her, and gave her a big kiss. "I'm a bit nervous," I admitted.
"You're going to do fine," Jasmine reassured me. I could tell though
that she was disappointed not to be getting her big night.
Sandy and I walked into the convention centre, taking a luggage cart to
carry the gown, swimsuit and my talent costume. We walked into the
lobby and I was amazed to see a crowd of very attractive girls, all
there to compete. "What have I gotten into?" I muttered.
Sandy just gave me a grin and pointed out to the registration desk.
"I'll get these things to the dressing room. You'll have to go sign
in."
So as she went to the dressing room, I registered. About 15 minutes
later the orientation session began. After a short opening number, we
would first do the swimsuit competition, then the talent competition,
then the gown competition, and finally for the top five, a question and
answer. While listening to the orientation, I saw Rachel across the
room, looking intently at me. I gave her a smile in recognition and
she gave a wave back. It was nice to think that despite the
competition, there would be someone friendly to me tonight.
After the orientation session, I went to the dressing room. Sandy was
busy getting my clothes organized for quick changing during the pageant.
She pointed to a stack of clothes on a chair. "Those are your clothes
for the opening number. You're supposed to change into them and then
head onto the stage to rehearse."
I grabbed them, and headed into the changeroom. Taking a closer look at
the clothing I figured that they were to emphasize our 'athletic'
nature. They were a pair of red shorts, with a red halter top that
exposed my midrif. Finally, there were a pair of white socks and
sneakers. Putting them all on made me look something like a cheerleader
from a professional basketball team. Lastly I put on my sash declaring
me Miss Teen Columbus.
I could hear the coordinator in the dressing room yell, "Okay ladies! 5
minutes until rehearsal."
I took one last look in the mirror, smiled and said to myself, "Alright
Jasmine, time to show everyone what you're made of."
I exited the changeroom and headed out to the stage. The pageant was
being held at one of the larger theaters in Cincinati, which was
attached to the convention center. The backstage doors led to a
platform that overlooked the rest of the stage, with a grand staircase
that gently descended downwards. Most of the other girls had already
gotten onto the stage. I caught a glimpse of Rachael, but she had an
'all business' look to her, so I didn't try to attract her attention.
The rest of the afternoon was spent getting down the various dance moves
and coreography. Finally, the coordinator was happy with what we had
done and we all got changed out of our opening number outfits and I got
back into my dress suit.
I said goodbye to Sandy as the pageant participants got onto the bus to
go to dinner. I told her to say hi to 'my' parents and Jasmine.
Dinner was excellent and I got to meet some really great girls who were
sitting next to me. Finally it was time to get ready for the big show.
We headed back to the convention center, and got changed back into our
opening number outfits. At about this time Sandy came in to 'make me
up'.
This time, she was going to go with something a bit more natural looking
seeing that we were going to be on tv. She still put on some smoky
eyeshadow, blush and an appropriate amount of mascarra. However,
instead of blood red lipstick she went with a more subtle pink. She
then combed my hair straight, which allowed it to gently lay just past
my shoulders.
The dressing room was bustling as all the other girls were getting ready
as well. Finally, the coordinator came in and said, "You've got ten
minutes girls!"
My heart started to race as I realized what I was about to do. While I
was anxious, at the same time I was excited. How many guys get to
participate in a beauty pageant, and not have anyone thing anything
strange about it?
We all went out to the stage and took our positions. The curtain was
down and I could hear the murmur of the audience. As it turned out, I
ended up right next to Rachael. I reached out to her and squeezed her
hand.
"Good luck!" I said.
Rachael just gave me a quick smile. I guess she was nervous too.
Finally, the MC said, "Ladies and Gentlemen! Welcome to the 2004 Miss
Teen Ohio Pageant!"
The curtain raised and the audience erupted in applause. "Wow...here we
go," I thought to myself.
The music began and we started to move in unison. It wasn't too
different from any other opening number you've seen for Miss America and
such. But _I_ was doing it, and admittedly having a lot of fun while I
was doing it.
After the opening number was over we headed backstage to get into our
swimsuits. Sandy handed my bikini to me, grinning ear to ear as she did
so. I playfully stuck out my tongue at her and grabbed the bikini from
her.
"You did really well out there Jasmine," she said.
"Thanks Sandy."
I went into the changeroom and quickly got out of my opening number
outfit. The bikini was, well, very revealing, as all bikinis are. It
was light blue in color, and the support of the bikini top really
revealed my cleavage. I put on a pair of white 2" heels and walked out
of the changeroom.
"Wow." Sandy said with her mouth agape. "Just, wow. You walked out of
there like it was the most natural thing in the world."
I looked around in a bit of alarm and placed my finger to my mouth.
"Shhhhhh..." I said, grinning.
Sandy nodded and replied, "Knock 'em dead Jasmine".
I took my place in the lineup at the stage door and the swimsuit portion
of the competition began. One by one the girls took their turns
strutting their stuff, admired I'm sure by every single guy out there.
Then it came to me.
"And now, Miss Teen Columbus, Jasmine Fontaine!" announced the MC.
I walked, smiling, onto the top stage and into the spotlight. Applause
erupted and I began to descend the stairs. Along with the applause
there were many whistles and cheers, several of which I could tell were
coming from the boys in the audience.
Reaching the bottom of the stairs I strutted to the front of the stage,
very aware of how my heels had changed my posture and my stride. I had
a bit more of sway to my hips and my breasts were definitely more
emphasized. I also noticed that my breasts were big enough that the
bikini top barely controlled them. I could feel them jiggle as I
walked. I stopped at the front of the stage and posed like Jasmine had
coached me. I walked over to the left of the stage and posed again,
then finally walked over to the right to join the other girls who had
already completed their walk.
I had to admit, I wasn't sure how I'd take the attention being focussed
solely on me, especially being rather more exposed than I would normally
have liked. But liked it. A lot. I could see now why Jasmine enjoyed
doing these pageants.
When the last girl finished her walk, the MC was delivered an envelope.
"In this envelope are the top 15 finishers, in no particular order."
The first name the MC called was Rachel Baker. I grinned and clapped
enthusiastically as she walked to the center of the stage. One by one
twelve more girls had their named called, and then it happened.
"Jasmine Fontaine!"
I smiled widely as the girl next to me gave me a big hug. I strode over
to the other top-15 finishers and got another hug. They all were
clapping vigourously, although it looked like Rachel wasn't entirely as
enthusiastic as the others. Well, not everyone can be Miss Congeniality
I guess.
After the final top-15 finisher was announced we headed backstage to get
into our talent outfits. Some of the girls got dressed into ballerina
tights or tutus. Some of them dressing in evening gowns, although I
assumed they were different than the gown they'd actually wear in the
competition. I noticed that Rachel was wearing a beautiful sea-blue
dress for her talent, which I found out later was singing opera. I
could hear it over the speakers which were placed in our dressing room.
She's very good.
We had told the pageant coordinators that we'd need a bit more time for
my costume, so I would go later in the rotation.
Sandy joined me in the changeroom as I took off my bikini. "The boys
are going to go crazy when they see you in this," she said with a bit of
an evil grin.
"Yeah, they will," I agreed.
I took the costume from Sandy and started to put it on. First, I put on
a pair of panties, and on top of that I pulled up a pair of fishnet
hose. It definitely felt strange on my smooth legs. Then on went a
black bustier, which Sandy needed to tighten, much like a corset. This
gave some prominence to my breasts, but I wasn't too concerned about
that. The bustier though, didn't cover up any of my legs, so that it
almost looked like I was wearing a swimsuit.
"Turn around, Jasmine," Sandy said. I did so and she helped put on a
black tailcoat. She then helped me put on a white bowtie. Finally with
a pair of black 2" heels, some short, white gloves and a top hat, my
costume was complete.
I stood in front of the mirror, admiring Jasmine and Sandy's handiwork.
They had been working on this costume for the past few months, and Sandy
was right. I was exceptionally hot in it. I wondered why it was that
when women wear men's clothing it's sexy, but not the other way around.
Sandy handed me a baton. Jasmine, Sandy and I had decided that doing
baton twirling as my talent would be better, since it was considered a
bit more 'traditional' for a girl.
I gave Sandy a hug and walked over to the door to await my turn.
Finally, the MC announced, "And now, Miss Jasmine Fontaine!". I put my
'pageant smile' back on and sexily sauntered out onto the stage,
twirling my baton. As the spotlight lit upon me, applause and cheers
(and again, a lot of whistles from the guys) erupted.
Amazingly, as I stepped down the stairs, throwing the baton in the air,
catching it, and doing a few tricks, I was actually a bit surprised that
I didn't go flat on my ass.
I continued to do my tricks for the next several minutes, demonstrating
my newfound flexibility in Jasmine's body, despite the somewhat
restrictive nature of the costume. This included doing the splits while
catching the baton, (which I never would even think of having attempted
as a guy), and kicking my legs high in the air, much like the Rockettes.
As a finale, an assistant brought out a specially designed baton, and
lit the ends aflame. I could hear some gasps from the audience as I
twirled the flaming baton high into the air, catching it under my leg
and other death defying stunts. Okay, I may be exagerating there.
But I was a hit with the audience for sure.
My routine finished, I walked over to the other twelve girls to wait the
final two to finish. Although the other girls were quite talented, I
was actually not that surprised this time to hear my name called out as
a top-10 finalist, happily, along with Rachel.
Again, it was off to the backstage in order to change, this time into my
evening gown. I had mentioned earlier that I had helped Jasmine pick it
out, so I already knew how beautiful I was going to look in it. Sandy
was ready for me as soon as I got backstage, since we were going to have
to change fairly quickly.
We got into the changeroom and as quickly as I could, I got out of my
talent costume. I felt a little light headed when we took the bustier
off, but not like when I took my corset off last weekend after the
costume ball. I dressed down to my panties, and then quickly put on my
white heels again. Sandy held out the gown and I stepped into it, being
careful not to step on the netting that filled the very bottom of the
gown. Standing up straight, Sandy buttoned up the back of the gown.
I walked out of the changeroom so that Sandy could work on my hair,
which needed some adjustment after wearing a top hat. Through her
mastery of combs, hairpins, a curling iron and copious amounts of
hairspray, she managed to give my shoulder length hair a surprising
amount of body. I had to admit that girls hair was a lot more fun than
a guys.
Sandy held up the necklace that my 'parents' had given me last night.
"Did you want to wear this?" she asked.
"Absolutely!" I replied. I turned around and she placed the necklace
around my neck and closed the clasp.
I stood up and walked to the mirror. My gown was a strapless mermaid
style, very tight fitting that came up and just covered my breasts. The
gown hugged my body, emphasizing my narrow waist, before spreading out
at my knees, supported by a fair amount of netting. The gown was white
with plenty of red flower embellishments. The embellishments only went
down halfway from my knees to the floor in front, but extended down the
back of the crinoline to a small train.
Sandy came over and stood beside me. "Jasmine, you have got to be one
of the most beautiful girls around," she said. I flashed a smile to
Sandy, and she squeezed my hands in support. "I'm going to go out to
the audience now, since you don't need me anymore."
I gave her a big hug. "Thanks Sandy, I could never have done this
without you and Jasmine."
The coordinator stuck her head into the dressing room. "Jasmine, you're
up soon, " she said. I nodded and walked out to the stage door.
I heard the MC yell out, "And now, Miss Rachel Baker."
I was surprised to see that she was wearing a rather bouffant dress
herself, something more similar to the gown I wore at the Costume Ball.
It was mostly white, with a large skirt supported by netting. She
looked stunning in it.
She finished her walkabout, and the MC then called my name. "Miss
Jasmine Fontaine!"
I again put on my pageant smile and walked into the spotlight. Applause
started up, this time a bit more polite with the more 'ladylike' nature
of this part of the competition. I was met halfway across the top of
the stage by a rather handsome looking boy, dressed in what looked like
a Civil War uniform worn by a soldier from the North. He offered me his
arm and I elegantly linked my arm with his. He escorted me down the
stairs, with me being very careful not to trip.
After reaching the bottom of the stairs, I unlinked my arm and once
again walked around the stage, first to the right then the left, posing
both times. As I walked I was conscious of the fact that the tightness
of the gown over my legs kept my strides fairly short. Yet, the netting
never allowed my feet to show, so I appeared as if I was gliding across
the stage.
Suddenly I saw Jasmine and Sandy in the audience. As she realized that
I had spotted her, I saw Jasmine mouth the word, "Wow." I smiled, just
a little bit more. Finally, my walkabout over, I strode over to the
rest of the top-10 finalists.
Again, the MC called out the names of the top-5. The first was Rachel
Baker. She was furthest from me so I couldn't congratulate her any more
than just clapping enthusiastically.
Three more names were called and then unbelievably to me, the MC
announced, "Jasmine Fontaine!"
I put my hands up to my mouth in surprise. A few of the remaining girls
gave me hugs and then I walked over to the other four finalists in
shock.
"We will proceed with the question and answer segment after a short
break," the MC said.
The girls went back into the dressing room, and the five finalists were
taken to a separate room. We had some quick refreshments and
congratulated each other for getting this far. Finally, it was time for
the final act, and the other finalists walked out, except for Rachel.
As I was about to leave myself Rachel said, "Jasmine, wait one moment."
She walked over to me, her beautiful gown rustling as she walked. "What
a beautiful necklace," she said.
"Why thank you," I replied. "It was a gift from my parents."
Then a rather dark look came across Rachel's face. "I've seen the
scores. You're likely to win."
I was sure that I was looking confused.
"I can't let you win Jasmine. My dreams are hitched upon winning this
pageant. That necklace, it wasn't given to you by your parents. It was
from me."
"What?" I asked incredulously.
Then an evil look came across Rachel's face. Then she said two words:
"Mutatio vitae".
Then things went black.

Sandy and Jasmine eagerly awaited Tom's appearance for the question and
answer segment. When he appeared, Sandy, Jasmine and Jasmine's parents
erupted into applause. Finally it was time for the question.
"She's going to win Tom," Sandy said. "I can't feel it."
Jasmine nodded. "I sure hope so. Her scores are just ahead of
Rachel's."
The MC announced, "The first question goes to Jasmine Fontaine."
Jasmine elegantly walked across the stage to join the MC. The MC pulled
out a slip of paper out of a bowl and read, "Recent polls have shown
that a fifth of Americans can't locate the US on a world map. Why do you
think this is?"
Jasmine replied, "I personally believe, that U.S. Americans, are unable
to do so, because uh, some, people out there, in our nation don't have
maps. and uh... I believe that our education like such as in South
Africa, and the Iraq, everywhere like such as... and, I believe they
should uh, our education over here, in the U.S. should help the U.S. or
should help South Africa, and should help the Iraq and Asian countries
so we will be able to build up our future, for us."
Jasmine and Sandy looked at each other in horror. Jasmine's parents'
mouths were agape in shock.
Sandy whispered to Jasmine, "What the hell was that?"
