But I could take off the dress and put my hair in a ponytail to go to

bother of taking it off every night and then putting it on again after
school. It was too much.
And then what after that? Mom said "She'll probably get you to pierce
your ears. Sooner or later she's going to want you to come to school as a
girl." That was it for me. I quit. Anna could find someone else to
harass.
So I was without a girlfriend. What would I do?
When I got home from school that day there was a gift package on my desk.
