Steve hadn't bothered even looking around as he was just concentrating
on forgetting everything, but he had to admit Janet did at least have

her he realized the alcohol must have been kicking in. Everything

Steve stared down at his drink for a few minutes. Willing it to come
into sharp focus.
"What is it?" Janet asked after another moment of nothing but background
music.

Maybe that was why he was getting so worked up. He looked back over at
