CHAPTER EIGHT
When I woke up, it was around noon. The house was silent and empty. I was
still in Roger's room, but I was in his bed covered with his blanket - not
on the floor where I knew I'd collapsed. I looked around to figure out
what had happened, and why I had only woken up then. And then I noticed a
handwritten note, in Roger's handwriting, on the pillow beside me.
"Good morning!
I hope you had pleasant dreams!
I found you all crumpled up on my floor, when I got up to use the bathroom
in the middle of the night. So I picked you up and put you in my bed. I
slept beside you, but don't worry, I didn't touch you inappropriately.
I have no idea how much you want to sleep, or when you want to wake up. So
I left my blinds closed, but put my lamp on a timer, to go on at 12
o'clock. I assume that when you read this, it's around 12.
Now you can decide what you want to do. There's a carrot on the
nightstand, if you want it. If you want to sleep some more, you can turn
the light off. Either way, the timer is going to shut the light off in
about half an hour, so if you don't eat the carrot and stay in my room,
you'll probably go back to sleep.
I should get home from school at around 4PM today. I'll check in my room,
and if you're still here sleeping at that time, I'll open the blinds and
see if you want to do something together.

I debated my options, and considered eating the carrot. I knew there
wasn't much that I wanted to do on my own before he got back from school,
so I held off on eating the carrot, though I kept reconsidering that
option. I also thought about running to my room and changing into normal
pants before he got home. But I thought, 'He's already seen me in these
shorts' and allowed my laziness to keep me in his bed. I tried to imagine
what Roger might want to do with me once he got home, and tried to think
of cool ideas for us to do. I wasn't watching the clock. I had just
changed my mind, and decided that I didn't want to be seen again in the
shorts and that I wanted to go to my room to change - and had sat up in
his bed and removed the covers - when the light suddenly clicked back off.
The room instantly became pitch black, as even his door was closed. I
panicked, and reached towards his nightstand to try to get the carrot. And
then I lost consciousness, crashing on his bed once more. Just before I
completely lost consciousness, I noticed a faint odour of semen coming
from his bed. To my dismay, I didn't find the smell unpleasant.
When I woke up, I was lying on my side, with my right leg bent and my body
tipped towards my stomach. Someone was sitting beside me. Based on the way
the air was touching my skin, I could tell that my shirt wasn't adequately
covering my back and stomach. A head was gently stroking the bare parts of
my skin. It was Roger - I figured that out from his scent before I even
saw him.
"What a nice surprise, finding you still here!" he said. "And posed so
cute, too!"
"I couldn't get the carrot in time," I said, when my speech started
working again.
"Really?" he said. "That's funny. Because the light was on for 15 whole
minutes."
"Yeah, well, I hadn't made up my mind yet when the light shut off again."
I straightened my legs and, now lying flat on my stomach, tried to pull my
shirt all the way down so that it would cover my butt. This wasn't so
easy, though, since I was lying on my stomach, and he was stroking and
massaging my uncovered lower back with his hands. "Do you mind?" I asked,
annoyed. "I didn't mean to be so uncovered." He took his hands away and
watched as I raised my hips and stomach off the mattress and pulled the
shirt down to cover my butt.
"So, d'you want to do something fun together?" he asked me once I'd
settled down on his bed again. I was still feeling much too uncovered. I
hadn't planned on letting him see my legs in the spandex shorts like that.
I would've liked to cover myself with his blanket, but it seemed that he
had put that somewhere far away before I regained my consciousness.
"Yeah, but what?"
"I dunno," he said. "We could go to the mall again, but... we've been
doing that too much. Maybe you wanna go to a swimming pool together?"
"I don't think so, sorry," I said.
"Really? You could probably get away with wearing a shirt over your
swimsuit, I've seen girls doing that before. And you could probably wear
shorts, too. Even boys' swim shorts."
The thought of going swimming WAS appealing, but I was too concerned about
being forced to wear a swimsuit in front of him, and how he'd treat me if
I did that.
"Maybe another time," I said.
"Then what?" he asked.
"I dunno, we could go to some nature trail, or the zoo," I suggested.
"It's gonna be dark soon, though," he said.
We thought for a few minutes in silence. He started rubbing my back. And
then he started rubbing my legs.
"I have a confession to make," he said.
"What's that?"
"Well, I hope you won't be mad at me. But when I found you in my bed like
that, uncovered, with your leg bent, and your shirt pulled up and stuff,

I remained silent.
"Does this mean we're not gonna have fun together tonight?" he asked. "Was

rather know than be kept in the dark about it, and that since I was honest
with you you'd forgive me." I remained silent. "Would you? Would you

I looked up at him, feeling sad and conflicted. And then I whispered,
"Show me."
"What?" he asked.
"Show me. Show me what you did to me. So that I'll know. So that I'll know
how it would've felt if I had been awake. Just do it one more time so that
I know."
"You're asking me to touch your butt again?"
"Yes. Just this once. And it doesn't mean that you have permission to do
it in the future."
"You want me to do what I did again. OK, if that's what you want. Let's
see, it was something like this." He slid his hands up the backs of my
thighs, under my shirt, and over my shorts-covered butt. I couldn't
believe that he was making direct contact with my butt, and with my
permission! Then, with his hands underneath my shirt like that, he took
hold of my hips and pulled me up into the air a bit, hooking a hand under

lamp and said, "I'll just shut off the light and go downstairs to see what
she wants. I'll be right back."

I sighed. I didn't feel it was worth arguing over this. He was right, it

He interrupted me by placing a finger over my lips. "Done. Agreed. Now
it's time for you to go to sleep. Let's just position your leg a little

And then, quickly, while holding my leg in that position, he shut the
light off, and held me like that until I lost consciousness once more.
When I woke up next, once again he was stroking and touching my butt. I
waited until my speech returned, and then said "OK, please stop touching

"I got Mom to agree to let us take the car out tonight and drive to the
next town," he said. "There's a roller rink that's open late. We could go

"How long has passed?" I asked, seeing the time on his clock.
"Sorry, it took longer than I thought it would. It's been about 90 minutes
I guess. I was talking to Mom about Tom's house."
"What about it?"
"Well, I think I got her to agree to an arrangement that you'd be OK with.
But she wants you to talk to her about it yourself. We could go talk to
her now, before she heads to her night job."
I sighed, curious and worried. "OK, let's do that."
"We'd better hurry," he said, grasping my ankles and swinging them over
the side of the bed for me, and then pulling me to a standing position.
"She probably has to leave soon."
"I can walk myself," I said. "And I'll just go change into normal pants
first."
"She already saw you in those," he said. "She saw you sleeping in my bed.
Actually, so did Randy. I wasn't going to let him, but Mom said that I was
picking on him, and that if I got to see you this way, then he had a right
to also."
I felt so upset and ashamed at this admission.
"Why would you tell her I was here? Why would you let her see me like
this, without my permission? You know I'm embarrassed about the way I'm
dressed. I thought I could trust you!"
"You CAN trust me! In fact, that's exactly WHY I told her, and why I let
her see you. You'll see - you'll understand when you talk to her about
Tom's place. But please trust me on this one. Anyway, there's really
nothing wrong with what you're wearing. Nothing wrong with letting them
see you this way. And you really should catch her before she goes out,
unless you want to wait until tomorrow to hear what this is all about. I
think Randy's out with his friends anyway, now, so he won't see you
again."
I didn't think to ascertain this by listening for his voice, I just gave
in and followed Roger downstairs to where Mom was. He asked me if he could
carry me, saying that Mom would say it looked adorable and would be more
likely to agree to my terms. But, thankfully, I said no to that.
