It had been a few days since Alindris was supposed to meet Vaira. She
never thought the rogue was all that clever, and Alindris chalked up
Vaira's tardiness to her simply not remembering the day. While the rogue
was relatively punctual as to what hour of the day she was supposed to
report in, she occasionally forgot the date that she was supposed to meet
Alindris. The night elf sat down at a table in the lounge, tying her

ordered her usual ale. Only a few minutes had passed before an elven

with some select adornments on her armor and weapons could only belong to
Vaira. She walked over to Alindris and sat across from her, removing the

and her eyes narrowed. "What do you have for me then?" Vaira merely
smiled as she pulled out some folded up papers and slid them across the
table to her Alliance ally. Alindris snatched up the papers and poured
over them, her eyes moving slowly across the pages. Her eyes widened as
she reached certain notable sections of the documents, but was able to
keep herself on task as she continued to study the newly acquired
information.
Vaira's rice pudding arrived as Alindris read, and she slowly started to
eat, savoring each bite. As Alindris finished the reports, Vaira had
just finished her rice pudding. "Is it worth it?" Vaira asked, wiping
her mouth. "Absolutely, the Alliance needs to be informed of any Horde
movement against the Legion. Prin- ah, King Anduin wishes the
cooperation of the Horde, so we may fully combine our forces to strike

are aware that your beloved Archmage Proudmoore is fully against our
cooperation, and wishes nothing more than the destruction of the Horde,"
Vaira said, prodding the purple haired mage with a subject that had
quickly become a sore spot for her. Alindris once again sighed loudly as
she nodded, pocketing the information into her cloak. "Listen, Vaira, I
want you to understand the severity of the situation. We have no time
for games when it comes to the Legion." Vaira merely smiled before
leaning in and whispering into Alindris's ear, "What about games when it
comes to us?"
Alindris looked somewhat stunned. It had been a long time since she had
been in a relationship with Vaira. Not a long time for the elven people,
but they had not been together since the death of Bolvar Fordragon.

satisfaction, the Eredar walked through the portal to the Twisting Nether
and closed it behind him.
