Don't you hate stories that are never finished? I do, and this one has
been bugging me for years. These days I rarely have time to write,

"So all they have to do is get you to the shuttle when it lands and
you'll be okay."

"The backup shuttle, then!"
"Wouldn't be ready to launch for at least a week and even if it could go
now it'd take several days to match orbits again. I'm stuck. I really

Gabriele shrugged. "It'll be better. We can't alternate between two

"I don't know, but I'm not giving up. There is a way to defeat the
