"Huh...where am I....."
Jane got up, realizing rather quickly that she is back at Diana's condo.
Wut the.... she thought as she looked around. The condo's living room
was just as immaculate as it was always. She noticed the smart clock
near the kitchen-Monday 1pm. Oh man, I not only fainted but missed
school, but she got up she heard the clack and click of heels upon the
hard wood floor.
"Oh my, dear you have awoken. Don't worry-I called the school to let
them know you would be out today. Good thing I can work from home to
keep an eye on you." Diana mentioned as she walked right in front of the
sitting Jane. Diana was still quite beautiful, with her coiffed dirty
blonde hair, clean and lovely makeup complementing her simple white
opaque blouse and knee-length dark pencil skirt. Jane looked at her,
then it came back to mind, and with a sickening look of horror and
disgust, she recoiled away from Diana crying out... "Who are you,
really!?" Diana looked puzzled and tried to assure Jane "What are you
talking about, dear-something funky in the punch you had heh," followed
with a nervous chuckle. Jane looked at her, then stated stoically "At
the dance.... my dad .... he was here, had you at knife point, then...."
as it came back to her, "is that your real hair?" pointing to Diana's
plain dirty blonde pageboy cut hair.
Diana looked at Jane, then sighed heavily. "I suppose you remember what
happened eh?" as she sat down next to Jane. Jane though scooted a bit
away from her, unsure of whom this person, whom she had been living with
the past few months, was really anymore. Diana stared at Jane hard and
stated "Well I did what I had to, to protect you....and myself as well."
Jane nodded silently as Diana recounted what happened once Jane had
fainted.
/Flashback to the night of the Spring Dance
"Jane, no!" Diana cried out as she saw Jane falling slowly down onto the
floor just a short distance away in front of Todd and Diana. Oh god,
Diana/Tim figured as he worked out a way to get out of this and get Jane
back to safety. Diana struggled to get free of Todd, as he tossed the
wig aside.
"Oi, what do you think you are doing, bitch!" as Todd noticed that
effort and tightened his grip around Diana's waist. Thankfully, Diana
managed to get free (thanks in part to Tim's self-defense training) and
now had held Todd's arms away from her, her hands gripped tightly around
Todd's wrists.
"Wut the...." Todd noted, shocked.
"Oh yes, Mr. Todd....this bitch as you put it, she got a few tricks up
her sleeve!" as she pushed Todd away from her. Soon though Todd mounted
another stabbing attack with his knife. But Diana evaded and grabbing
the knife held arm, pushed it around and into Todd's beer belly gut
merely reflex it would seem.
"Gah...ugh!...." he cried out as he looked down to see the wound start
to drip out blood, a slow trickle now but the gash had been quite deep;
it would likely get worse. "You... rich bitch!" Todd cried out, dropping
the knife to clutch the wound. Diana looked on, shocked-that wasn't what
I expected, she thought. She then noticed the unconscious Jane on the
floor and decided to tend to her, as she watched Todd Miles sulk out of
the hallway. Oh goodness, Diana thought, but no time to worry about him;
I need to get Jane out of here quickly. But first, she uttered under
breath as she grabbed the wig, need to restore my image. Once that was
done, Diana and Jane made their way back to the condo.
/Back to the present moment
"So....what happened to my da-I mean Todd?" Jane asked, with an eerie
stillness in her voice. Diana looked at her, then shook her head. "That
I can't say, perhaps he... i mean, the wound was quite grave....." she
wondered out loud. For even Diana wasn't too sure, nor did she want to
cause more distress for Jane.
/At the back alley near Pierre St. Romaine
"Ah well, glad to be out in the fresh spring air...." Father Derrick
muttered as he was taking his midday break from his daily bible study
sessions. As he turned the corner, he noticed something, or rather
someone. Said person was laying, in a small pool of blood on the cold
dark concrete: a rather middle-aged man, wearing shabby clothes with
quite the pot-belly.
"Oh dear god...." Father Derrick stated then quickly rushed back inside
to call up the police. When they got there, they found the man had no ID
on him at all, just a wallet with some cash. Also, whatever had stabbed
him, a knife Since he was dead to rights, they decided to deem him....a
John Doe and an anonymous burial, in an unmarked grave.
/Cut back to Diana's condo
"So I hope that clears things up, Jane dear....shall I get lunch ready?
You must be starving." Diana stated as she began to make her way to the
kitchen. "Wait! I felt up...." Jane said, then paused to blush "your
crotch one time, while you were passed out drunk, and well.... it didn't
feel smooth at all." Diana stared at her with shock and terror on her
face. "What did you say, dear?" she questioned, almost dismissively.
It was then that Jane got up and stood face to face with Diana, and
stated "Diana...I mean, Mommy.... are you a she male? Have you been
deceiving me this whole time?" Janes asked empathically, with slight
tears in her eyes. Diana looked then turned over in her mind. Oh dear
how that did happen, she wondered then recalled that one afternoon she
did partake a bit too much wine and fell asleep on the couch.
Well, I knew I couldn't keep up the charade forever, Diana thought.
Steeling herself by taking a deep breath then stating "Heh, I figure
this day would come.....just not in this way," except instead of
Diana's soft feminine voice, a slight baritone voice uttered out of her
lips. Jane, her hands to her mouth, but before she could respond,
Diana/Tim continued "I play a woman, a rich businesswoman-and I wanted
to have a family, but I just couldn't," shuddering briefly.
"So, that life story you told...that was a lie?" Jane asked as she sat
back down on the couch, staring intently in Diana's direction. "Well,
some of it-it helps to hide the truth in lies, some of the times," Diana
responded back, as she looked downcast. She then grabbed at her hair,
revealing it to be a wig and showing the lace wig cup underneath. "Now,
it's a bit more complicated then what I will show you....but I think for
now it will suffice, ok?'
"Ok....." Jane replied back as Diana tossed the wig onto the floor.
Next, she unbuttoned her blouse, showing her bra-clad bosoms for a
moment. Diana pinched around her collarbone until she found the edge of
the facial mask, concealed by makeup. "Now, then I hope this doesn't
shock you...." Diana stated quietly as she grabbed at the neck, pulling
the skin tone latex off, leaving it as an open flap. She then grabbed at
the ersatz hairline, where the top seam of the face mask was now
exposed. Grabbing from that, Tim pulled down the face mask, taking extra
care not to damage the mask. "Oh my god...." Jane spoke in hushed tones
as the process was occurring. Soon, Diana's beautiful face became marred
and turned to mere skin tone latex as Tim pulled it off with a slight
flourish.
Oh wow, he....is quite eh, not too bad on the eyes, Jane thought to
herself.
"Well, here I am....." he noted, still dressed from the neck down like
Diana, in her modest blouse, skirt, tights and modest black heels. Jane
looked at him, and said, "The real you eh?" as she walked up to him,
though staring at Diana's figure quite intently. "I, uh, yeah... it's me
alright," Tim retorted though noting Jane's gaze. "Well that's all fake,
padding and what not... perhaps one day i'll show you," flashing a
brief grin.
"But once again, why....all this for me?" Jane asked sincerely. Tim
looked at her intently, then smiled and spoke back "Well because I saw a
poor girl who was in a bad spot, and needed some help." "That's it.....
then?" Jane bounced back to him "Well yeah-sometimes the truth can be
quite simple like that....." Tim noted, then stared out into the
distance.
"So, what do we do...about me, i mean, us?" Jane posed the question Tim
was dreading a bit, but knew it would need an answer.
"Well let's continue on with it, as long as we are careful, we can keep
it up-I mean, you were taken in Diana's maternal beauty eh?" Tim uttered
as posed sexily. Jane then burst out laughing "OMG, you look silly like
that.....alright I guess, I suppose I have it better here then....well
you know, back at any moment of the past."
Tim sighed in relief then said "Well let me get Diana back here then
perhaps we can go out for lunch?" As he made his way back to Diana's
bedroom. "Wait, what about that guy who claimed to be Diana's
husband?....and what about Miss Rose?" Jane asked suddenly. "UH yeah,
there are.....close friends of mine, yeah go with that, please." Tim
responded. It might be best to keep those little white lies from her,
for the time being at least.
"Ok, then, let me get dressed and then we shall be off, then Mom!" Jane
cheerfully called out as she made it back to her bedroom. With that, Tim
figured maybe....just maybe it will work out in the end for us. A
fulfilling life indeed, takes on many forms and shapes but its all
towards one goal-taking care of others and yourself.
