Diana sat down in the conference room, nervous on the inside but
trying hard not to show it. There had been a delay in the court
session regarding Jane's adoption, so here she was, on a mild March
Tuesday afternoon, tapping her heel-clad foot upon the wooden floor.
Man, I hope things go smoothly with this, she thought as she heard the
door open, revealing Peter Johansen, along with a new person, a female
lawyer.
"Mrs. Diana Princeton, this is Roni Scarlet, a lawyer with a certain
interest in your case," Johansen remarked as Diana stood up to shake
hands with Roni. "Pleasure to meet you ma'am," Diana noting Roni as a
stylish businesswoman in her early 40s, though you couldn't tell from
what the way she carried herself: Exquisite makeup adorned her face
framed with soft blue eyes and shoulder length brunette hair. Wearing
a red business outfit, Roni exuded an elegant presence. Diana noticed
Peter had a bit of tightness in his pants but decided to keep that to
herself. The two lawyers take a seat, Peter on same side as Diana,
with Roni on the opposite side.
"So, what business brings you here?" Diana asked plainly towards her.
Roni took a questioning look at Peter then responded rather tersely
"Well Mrs. Princeton, I am here in the interest of Jane's father, Todd
Miles. Despite her birth mother being dead, the birth father still has
the right to contest any sort of adoption effort, regardless on
intention." Diana began to speak up, but Roni stopped her. "I know of
your pedigree, Mrs. Princeton and that over the past few months, you
might have developed a friendship with young Jane, but understand Mr.
Todd wishes to reunite with his daughter."
Peter then interjected, "He has priors, a record that calls into
question whether or not he is suitable to take care of a young girl,
especially one entering into adulthood," while pulling out a thick
manila folder from his bland tattered briefcase, sliding it over to
Roni. "Oh I am well aware of that, Mr. Johansen, but Todd Miles has
demonstrated that he is a reformed man-he has gotten a job and hasn't
committed any crime for the past few years or ago. People can be
redeemed, at least in the watchtowers of the law," Roni stated quite
confidently, pushing the folder back towards Peter "SO I take it,
there's no way we can strike a deal perhaps?" Peter asked meekly,
glancing around trying in vain to find a way out of this situation.
Diana looked to him with concern oh dear don't fold on me please, she
pleaded to herself. Roni noticed this moment of weakness and exclaimed
"Well unless you got proof of him committing a recent crime then I
take it this meeting is over...." Roni nearly getting up out of her
seat.
"Even the watchtowers of the law have their fair share of blind spots,
yes?" Diana mentioned quietly. She rummaged through her purse until
she pulled out a disc. "Well I got this in the mail the other day. I
got curious about it and watched it and well..... here you can take a
look for yourself," pushing the disc over to Roni once she sat back
down. "Oh..... ok then...." Roni stated calmly as she took the disc,
and after pulling out her laptop, put the disc into it. But the screen
was directed away from Peter and Diana. Diana could see Roni's face
contort into disgust and anger before she closed up her laptop
quickly. "Well then, Mrs. Princeton, I shall look into this matter and
get back with you and Mr. Johansen."
Diana was taken aback at the sudden nature of Roni's action but
decided not to push it. "Ok then Ms. Scarlet, we shall be in touch
then." Roni got up first and strode quickly of the room, leaving Peter
and Diana to themselves. As Diana got up, Peter stated quietly to her
"Well I think we might get a deal on this adoption effort through,
thanks to that. Though I do feel sorry for Mr. Todd a bit," casting
his glance away from Diana. "What do you mean, Peter?" Diana asked
with a curious note of concern. Peter glanced around before he
whispered, "Well Ms. Roni Scarlet has been rumored (but not proven) to
be one of the city's well paid, ahem, mistresses for certain criminal
elements of the city," concluding that remark with a sheepish grin.
Diana flashed a slight blush herself and smirked a bit, her plan went
off without a hitch, at least for now.
A month passed and the trial session occurred for the adoption.
Granted it was a mere formality as the matter had been settled
beforehand. Diana and Peter were in attendance, as was Sister Nancy,
Jane and another lawyer. The judge ruled in her favor, thankfully, and
Sister Nancy was more willing to let Jane go to what might be a better
place for her, despite waiving a possible payment for the adoption.
The move-in date for Jane at Diana's condo would be arranged at a
later date.
"Hello Jane, you got all your stuff dear?"
The Friday before spring break seemed to be the best time for Jane to
move from the orphanage to Diana's posh condo. Diana stood outside,
with her sports car, waiting for Jane to come out with her
possessions. Man what a new life experience awaits me.....and her,
Diana thought as spotted Jane being escorted out with Sister Nancy.
Jane wore a simple pastel blue dress with white modest heels and a
single blue rose barrette adorning her hair. Diana noticed that aside
form a backpack hanging from one of Jane only had one small suitcase
in hand, a sign of her rather meager possessions.
"Well yes, Mrs. Diana. I have all I got and ready to go," Jane stated
plainly as she placed her suitcase and backpack into the back set of
the sports car. "Oh good to hear, dear. I am sure you will love the
condo, might be quite the upgrade," Diana remarked with a slight
chuckle, the turned to Sister Nancy who was standing right there. "Oh
no offense, Sister."
"None taken, though I have to wonder what will Jane do for school? The
orphan scholarship might end up going away for her on account on her
change in living quarters." Sister Nancy noted rather plain and
directly towards Diana.
"Ah well I am sure I could talk to the school about having her finish
out the school year at least, then we can explore our options right
Jane?" Diana stated as she looked towards Jane who nodded silently. It
was then that the trio heard the front door of the orphanage opened up
unexpectedly, with dear little Marie peeking out with a concerned
look. Upon seeing Jane with her stuff put away in the car, Marie'eyes
began to tear up.
"Jane, where you going?" Marie trying not to cry, but it was clear she
was on the verge of tears. Sister Nancy rushed over to her, ready to
wipe the sadness away. "Now, now, dear, Jane is getting a new parent
as many who have been in my care have been. Life has its comings and
goings, my dear Marie." Diana could see from the Sister's wistful
expression that this was likely something common for her, but likely
not for Marie. Oh the poor dear, Diana thought, as she started to
walked towards the two.
"It's alright, Marie, I will be alright," Jane stated plainly as she
bent down to hug poor little Marie. Diana could make out slight tears
running down Jane's face, which moved her as well. "Don't worry,
Sister Nancy will still be here for you....and who knows, I may pay
you a visit on occasion, if that's alright with Miss Diana?" turning
to Diana for confirmation. She nodded affirmatively, "I don't see any
problem with that, right Sister Nancy?"
"Oh of course, as long as its arranged ahead of time. Well goodbye
Jane, and may the Lord be with you," Sister Nancy spoke and gave a
Jane a brief hug.
"Where's Al?" Jane asked abruptly. Sister Nancy shifted a bit then
replied back, "Well dear, he's out at track squad practice today, last
day before the spring break. I told him when you would be leaving but
I suppose he is busy with that." Sister Nancy uttered with a plaintive
sigh. Jane spoke back steadily, "Well I suppose you can tell him that
I say that I will see him around, probably after the spring break,"
uttering a wistful sigh afterwards.
Jane and Diana entered into the sports car, waving once more to Sister
Nancy and Marie. They drove off back Diana's condo, with Diana
chatting some small talk with Jane on school, friends and other stuff.
Jane had a tendency to fidget with her bag when nervous, Diana
observed, with a slight personal giggle. Once they got to the parking
deck next to condo building, Diana helped Jane out with her bags. They
made their way up to the elevator taking them up to the second floor
where Diana's condo resided.
"Now, I own this residental space on this part of the second floor. It
might be a bit larger than what you are used to, but trust me it will
feel like home in no time at all," Diana spoke in a reassuring tone as
she escorted Jane down the hallway to the condo's entrance door.
Getting out a pair of keys from her purse, Diana unlocked the door,
opening it up for Jane to walk in with her suitcase and backpack.
"Wow, this is amazing, Mrs. Diana," Jane spoke in awed tones as she
scanned around the condo. The vast living room decorated quite nicely
and befitting of a upper class married lady with a open space kitchen
area off to back right side of this living space. Jane noticed two
doors flanking either side of the living room. Huh must be the
bedrooms, Jane thought as she began to walk towards the left side
door.
"Stop, don't go in there!"
Diana commanded her before she could make to the doorknob. "Oh sorry,
Jane it just I have to tend to some cleaning in there and besides that
is where me and my husband sleep, when he is town that is."
"Oh sorry, I didn't mean to pry, Mrs. Diana. I take it my room is...."
Jane began to say before Diana picked it up. "Why yes, Jane your
bedroom is just through the right side door there," pointing to that
door. "I will prepare some food for us to eat, you must be hungry.
Take some time to unpack and get settled in, Jane," Diana spoke
gently, then flashing a clear white smile to Jane. She nodded in
response and walked to her new room, her new home.
"So, what are your plans for spring break Jane?" Diana asked as she
passed the spinach casserole over to Jane who accepted with some
unease, as she had been munching on a garlic knot for some time. "Oh
well, I don't know....will have to see if any of my friends are still
in town, though more likely they are out at the beach or
something....." trailing off as Jane looked around a bit. "Ah well, I
still got work so whatever you got planned, let me know, dear," Diana
replied with a kind tone and a crystal smile. Jane nodded in agreement
as the two set about finishing their night meal.
"Well let's get into something more casual then how about a movie
night, Jane?" Diana asked as they were putting away the dishes and
clearing away the trash from the meal. "Oh well, I would like that,
Mrs. Diana."
"Please dear, you can call me Mom," Diana insisted as she leaned to
peck Jane on the forehead, prompting Jane to blush a bit. "Uhh
yeah.... sure, Mom. Let me go get on some pjs and then I can make our
movie pick, eh?"
"Oh yes, Jane, the movies are over there by the widescreen TV; I am
sure you will pick a good one." The two walked over to their
respective bedrooms.
As soon as Diana entered hers, she took a quick look at herself in the
mirror. She had on a simple white blouse and grey knee length pencil
skirt. Yes quite the model business woman, Diana thought as she began
to undress, taking off her blouse and skirt, revealing her body clad
in dark bra, panties and pantyhose. She slid her hose down her legs
slowly, doing a personal striptease. Blowing a kiss to the mirror, she
felt like Yes it finally has come..... I can be a mother now, Diana
thought.
She then couldnt take it, as she lifted off her panties to show the
girdle underneath. Ugh so much pent up pressure down there, Diana
thought, as she pulled away her instrument of female deception,

"Hey Diana, are you ready?" Jane called out from the living room.
Diana snapped back to the present moment, alert. She looked down at
her downstairs mess, and giggled heartily and replied back, "Yes Jane,
in a moment, please. I will be out, don't worry." She then pulled out
a frilly pink lingerie and a posh bathrobe. With a smile, Diana
thought it will be the good life now.
